It may be tough to walk from the Gare Montparnasse to the hotel when you have heavy luggage. It takes about 10 minutes by foot. Room is a bit narrow but comforgtable to stay. There is a kettle in the room. When I stayed the hotel, there was no water in the kettle. So, it is good to buy a water bottle at a shop. Breakfast is good. breakfast starts at 6:30. So, if you get on the train or airport bus around 7 o'clock, it may be difficult to have it.

A French woman we met in the elevator commented to us that she liked to stay at Campanile hotels because they are clean and reliable at a good price. I concur with this assessment. The staff is very friendly and speaks excellent English - they were so willing to help that I almost felt rude! The rooms are clean and adequately sized. Wi-fi is free and reliable. The rooms were quiet and I noticed that most of the hotel guests were older people (30 years and up), which is a plus if you want to get some rest. The hotel is located in a quieter part of town (14th), near a great market street called Rue Daguerre and about 7-10 min walk from several metro station and the RER B (45 min to CDG). As the week went on I started to wish that I'd picked a more central/accessible location, but for the price it was not a bad choice.

Good surrounds, a nice quartier, but the hotel position is about 10 minutes from a metro entrance.

The negative comments in the past reviews were correct. Room and beds (had triple room) were too small for a week long stay. For a night okay. The shower stall was tiny. No bath in our room. Hotel was too far from metro stations. There was a microwave downstairs but could only be used for items purchased in the vending machine of the hotel. But there were several good points. The staff were all polite and informative. I was impressed at the double panel windows so the noise from the outside was completely blocked out. The rooms were clean and the TFal pot and the tea/coffee and biscuits provided in the room were nice to have. You could walk to the Air France airport bus stop. The restaurant Marne and Vin by the hotel has great seafood.

Very basic rooms, very small rooms. No frills. However, cleanliness was good, staff seemed very willng to help out. Not one of the better values for the price that we found on our trip to Europe, but, Paris is an expensive place to stay. Located a few blocks from the subway, so getting around is very easy from this location.

Because of my job, I often travel to Paris. This hotel is good, although its rooms are quite small (but this is a feature shared by many other hotels in Paris). The fast internet connection (available for free) and all the facilities to make some instant coffee/herbal teas available in the room are nice additions.

We were in a triple room, big enough, but there was no suitable place to put the bag, so on the ground. Very clean bathroom. Breakfast costs 9€, good but nothing special. The breakfast room was crowded with tables and it was difficult to move around. There was at least one Spanish-speaking receptionist. The hotel is 7-10 minutes walk from metro gaite and 10-15 min from Gare Montparnasse.

This hotel got major points for allowing me to check in at 11 am. The staff were helpful in finding a great restaurant and providing a smooth check in and out. The hotel was in a good location for catching a train from Montparnasse station. The room was small, but the usual for Paris. I would stay here again if catching the train here.

We stayed in a triple room. The rooms were big, clean, and nice. The staff was pretty helpful except a couple of instances where they ignored us even though we were standing right at the front desk. As a hotel, this place was great. However, the surrounding area isn't the best. You are far from a metro station as well as cheap restaurants and cafes. Found a restaurant called Dorius about a 10 minute walk from the hotel that was a great deal and excellent food. We would not stay at this particular location again because it is just too far out of the way for a city like Paris. Would stay with the same hotel chain again, however.

General stay was confortable except for quietensss in the early morning when cleaning ladies chatted aloud along the corridors and in one night when we have been woken by some customer talking aloud without respect and one guy tried to open our room with a wrong key for 10 minutes without asking for sorry after we nervously opened the door. This is maybe due to a not proper isolated environment. For a possible recent restauration, there was a noisy bad smell along the corridor. Shower was relly small and with no mixet tab as we found in other Campanile hotels. Location is ok.

Pleasant location, breakfast was served; no lunch/dinner restaurant on site but a wonderful restaurant right next door and a wonderful grocery right next door on the other side. People at front desk extremely pleasant and helpful.
