Nice little hotel between place de clichy and Rome metro station. The room is quite small but not so much as I thought reading feedbacks, small-but-not-too-much bathroom (shower is roomy enough) , comfortable bed and room cleaned every morning. We had no problem with noise, the whole hotel was quiet. The reception is open 24/7. In winter the room is warm and nice, in summer maybe the lack of air cooling could be a problem. The hotel is at five minutes from the metro and in a strategic position. I'll book here again for our next trip in Paris for sure.

I would stay over there again if I had to go to Paris again. It is not exactly in the centre but there is a metro station less than 5 minutes away and the metro system is brilliant. It is also 7 min walking distance away from Moulin Rouge. The guy at the reception, Ilam, was a very nice guy who spoke perfect English and guided us as to where we should go, how we can arrive to places we wanted to go etc....The rooms are small, but then the price is good! The rooms and bathroom were clean and the maids do the room every day. I would recommend this hotel to couples who do not plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel other than to watch some tv and sleep. It is a perfect place to flop and rest after a whole day running around in Paris!

Cabourg is a classic old school French city hotel and all the more charming because of it. If your room is out of the back, you enter through an open courtyard, then have to negotiate a maze of narrow, dimly lit stairs. No lift, so a hassle if you have big suitcases etc. Room is really quiet. Breakfast (6 Euros) downstairs is OK but nothing special. Plenty of other places around to try somewhere else. Parking is a MAJOR hassle, so avoid if you have a car. Location is good, close to Clichy with plenty of bars, restaurants etc, plus subway. Some basic English spoken at the hotel reception. If you are used to modern chain hotels, like Ibis, etc, the Cabourg will be a shock to the system. But it's old school and quite fun and the area has plenty of shops.

Really nasty hotel with mold and mushrooms growing everywhere in the rooms. Tiny room thats reaks of cigarette smoke. Crappy mattress (if we can call it that) rather just springs. The front desk man is very disrespectful, not kind, not greatful, or motivated at all. Really a terrible excperience overall, would not recommend this "hotel" to anyone, even people I dont like.

Generally we were very happy with the hotel. Windows opened in the room and it was very clean. Plenty of hot water. But the room was very small and lacked chairs, bedside tables, lights working etc. Nicely central to where we wanted to be. Helpful, pleasant staff. It would be good to be able to get a drink in the hotel, boiling water available. Breakfast was very good. Happy with our stay.

Contrary to other comments, I found the room and bathroom clean and the staff quite helpful. In terms of value for money, its ok. The main drawback is the bed - the mattress needs to be changed - hard, sagging and lumpy, definitely NOT for people with bad backs!

I spent 9 nights at the Cabourg hotel. Its location is excellent, quite close to all Montmartre highlights and metro. The staff was nice. I was never disturbed by any noise. The cleanness of the rooms was not good enough and the toilet-bathroom space too tiny. On the whole, it is worth its price, taking into account its perfect location and quietness.

Our stay went well. We did not ask for much, but what we asked we got. The rooms are clean, but really small. The walls are also really thin, we could hear the discussions of the next room in detail. Otherwise everything was quiet though. The matress was perhaps the weakest part of our stay. It was really really really hard with the springs just at the surface. A good budget hotel in central Paris. Don't expect a 5 star hotel when you booked a 2 star one. For the money paid it's value for money. If you are polite with Staff they will gladly reciprocate. The room was impeccably cleaned every day. Breakfast is very rudimentary. I would gladly book this hotel again should I visit Paris.

We reserved a Quadruple room via Venere.com and it worked perfectly well. Reception was warm and most helpful, also with respect to using internet facilities. Room with new bathroom was clean, not too spacious but good enough for 4 persons (no problem despite 3 suitcases), and relatively quiet (no street noise, only people talking normally in their backyards); in case of heavy luggage and concerns of carrying that upstairs, better contact the hotel early since only the front house has an elevator. We had one breakfast, with good bread and croissants, juice and coffee or tee at an adequate price (with children we then turned to buying food at the nearby supermarket, for more variety). Access is quick and easy e.g. from Gare de l'Est / du Nord by Bus or subway, resp. We had a pleasant stay and recommend the hotel to other travellers.

The location is great: close to the metro station, nearby Pigalle and Montmartre. The hotel is not wonderful from the outside and the hall and common area are small and not very new. The rooms are ok, if you just need to sleep it's alright. You shouldn't have great expectations, if you're an easy traveller then it's the right place for you, if you're more sophisticated it is not! We advise you not to have brakfast at the hotel: there're cheaper and nicer places outside.

We've been to Paris many times and decided to stay in a different area of the city this time. Hotel Cabourg was in a very convenient location between two Metro stops. There were tons of grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants just steps away. Our room was on the top floor and had the traditional slant ceiling. The elevator didn't take long to get to our floor or down to the main floor. Our room was a decent size with a nice bright bathroom and window that opened. This was a quick get away for us and we will be back.

The hotel was hard to find because the map was not really detailed. Other than that the hotel was really nice compared to others in the center of paris for the same amount. The room we got, two twins, was tiny but we spend most of our time out exploring anyway so it was not a big deal. There are lots of restaurants and pharmacies around which was great. My cousin and I went for a vacation/school and we were quite comfy in the room. I will definately return to the same hotel next time I am in Paris. It is great for the money you pay.

The Welcoming was wuite strange.. We arrived at 11:30 and the registration starts at 12, but the man at the desk told us to come back in few hours (?!!!) as the room has not been cleaned yet. Finally we got to leave our baggage in there however the man was not pleasant at al!!!! To the question whether it is safe to leave passports in the room he replied : 'No, It's not.. Of Course it's safe it's a hotel!!!!' I think that was to suggest that the questio was stupid.. It's a pity I did not ask his name. We were trying to avoid him anyway.. Unpleasant and really strange. Other female employees were great and wery helpful. We had a quadruple room by the terrace on the ground floor. The hotel has a cat and it's litter box was kept at that terrace, so the smell of the cat's pee was unbearable.. You should really do something about it.. But overall it was more or less ok. However the hotel does not qualify for 2 stars. SUpermarket is nearby, which is really great. However if You're coming back to the hotel quite late avoid groups in unlighted boulevards, may be unpleasant..

Buon viaggio.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and we really enjoyed our stay a lot! The rooms were small and quite noisy (thin walls and noise from the street), but clean, the towels were changed every day...There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff was really friendly. The hotel is situated not far from the Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge - we could reach everything by foot easily (20 minutes of walk to Sacre Coeur), we could also go by foot to Arc de Triomph and Champs Elysees (30 minutes walk). 2 metro stations were very close to the hotel and the Supermarket ED is nearby.

Our stay was very nice. We arrived at 00.30 but there was someone who welcomed us and tell us to go to sleep, even if the payment should be made as soon as you arrive. We paid in the morning, remember there are 3€ more for everyday (is a national tax if I understood). The room is little but very hot, they clean it everyday and put new towels and everything every morning. So the cleanliness is very fine. The thing we didn't like was the fact that the room are not very quiet...if you don't speak too loud it's ok but if someone next to you make some movement or speak a bit too loud you can hear it. anyway if you are in paris for tourism you can easily stand it, it's not that annoying...So we liked our stay in the hotel, there's a little lift to take you upstairs, so no problem with big bags. The location is perfect: in 4-5 minutes you reach on foot the 2 metro stations next to you (PLACE DE CLICHY and ROME), we prefered the first one because it's a perfect line (the blue one) to go around in Paris. There's a Mc donald's in the square of the metro station, many restaurants and boulangeries and even many other places to eat, so the position is perfect, there's also a little supermarket. So we advise you to stay in this hotel because you spend less and stay fine!!

It charged a little higher than the service the hotel provided. I payed 52 euro for my room. Though I got a double room with three bed(I booked a single room),I still think it did not deserve the money I spent. I was waked up at night because the room was too told though I opened the heater. The bathtube is a little dirty. The room is very dark though there are four lights. I could not link to the wireless network. It's a little noisy in the midle night because people walked upstairs. You can find a lot of restaurants and hotels nearby. And it's close to the subway (no more than 2 minutes). But it is not easy to find the hotel because the direction in the web is a little misleading.

The walls are very thin. You can't even have a normal conversation without your nabour hearing it. But besides that, the hotel is very good. Only 5 min. walk to moulin rouge, 10 minutes to Sacre Cæur or 15 min. to Arc de Triomphe. The metro "Rome" is right next to the hotel, which is nice when you want to go home at night. Be ware that the price on venere is not the price you will pay at the hotel. They put a tax on the price. I paid 6 euro extra pr. night in tax, but its still cheap and a good hotel at that price. Don't order the breakfast at 5 euro. It's not worth it.

We have spend five wonderful days (more precisely - nights)in Cabourg hotel. Room was clean and nice, very quite, we were awakened by sings of birds and aroma of coffee and cruasants from the windows, which were opposite to ours. I have already suggested to use it to my collegues who are planning visit Paris.

Hotel Cabourg has a good location near the rome and place de clichy metro stations. From the boulevard outside you have a good view of Sacre Coure. The hotel has a small reception with good service. When we arrived we were asked to pay during the first day. The hotel had added a 12 euro tourist fee. We had a quadrouple room with good space. However it seemed to have been a water leak and there was mould both in the corners of the room and in the bathroom. During our stay the hotel was being renovated, so maybe the problems with mould in the room will go away. Coming from sweden where we have a lot of security thinking, we did not like the fire escape plan. The only way out was down through a small stair (somewhat blocked with material for the renovation) and then out to a small open space between the houses. I guess that for the cheap price you should be glad to have a room with private bathroom.

Hotel Cabourg was set in a great location for us, as we are walkers. Great bakeries and shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms a little thin-walled, but a friendly tap on the wall to a neighbor took care of it immediately. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are clean. We would stay again for the value and location.

The location of the hotel was excellent, about 15 mins walk from the Sacre Coeur, however the hotel didn't meet expectations based on the description provided. Our room was very noisy from street traffic from very early in the morning until very late - had to buy ear plugs to sleep. Also the walls are cardboard thin so if you're unlucky enough to be in a room next door to someone who has their TV on full blast, it's unbearable. The room was very small but was cleaned to a good standard every day. In terms of value for money, they charge tax on top of the price shown on this website and even though most places do, I expected it to be included in the cost as it doesn't state otherwise. In addition check every page of this site because breakfast is not included and unless you go into a specific page, the website misleads you into thinking that it is. Staff on Reception varied, some were really nice and friendly but we didn't really ask for anything apart from an Iron, which was broken and therefore unavailable. We stayed 7 nights, so perhaps it was the length of time in a small, noisy room that became too much and possibly a 2-3 night stay would be fine... On a positive note, if you stay here or in the area check out Bistro 52, 52 rue Legendre, we ate there twice and the food and atmosphere were great.

Hi, if you're looking for a cheap and comfortable hotel you're doing the right choice. But please don't expect red carpet and other devices.. it's a small hotel, in a very French building, with small rooms and bathroom and an essential breakfast. But it's quiet, surrounded by a quiet street, clean and.. the price is very very good. If you're not looking for Hilton you can afford this hotel!

It was a small hotel but this is to be expected in Europe, especially in Paris. Breakfast was boring and you had to pay extra (personally i would rather have eaten cheaper elsewhere). No entertainment provided by hotel and it was miles from most attractions. You had to ring bell to get in and wait for receptionist who was rather surly. But it was clean, cheap and you get what you pay for. Overall out of ten it gets a 5.

Adeu!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The rooms are not big, but they don't need to be. They were plenty big for our needs. The hotel was a little out of the way, but the Rome Metro station was nearby. It did seem a little long when coming back after a day of sightseeing. It could also be a good taxi ride after the metro stops running. There are markets and restaurants in the neighborhood. Overall the staf was great. Although, the biggest complaint was the desk clerk who tried to make out with a female friend when she tried to get her room key. It was a good place to stay on a budget but females may need to beware.

I like the overall friendliness of the staff, although they could be more helpful with general trasnportation knowledge. Room not soundproof, can hear neighbour's conversations. Difficult to sleep on few nights because of strong smell of cigarette (not sure if it's from guests or receptionist). Love the area, though, near to Metro and busy shopping area. Lots of place to eat, would stay around that area again. Only reason not to return to hotel is the cigarette smell, otherwise we'd love it there. Toilets were very clean. Room cleaned daily which was nice. Value for money.

We chose this hotel for it's location & competitive price. The hotel was easy to find - just a short walk from the Metro station (Rome). We received a friendly welcome & found our room to be clean with en suite shower room & wc, TV & even a mini safe. The room itself was quite small but was fine to use as a base & a perfect location to explore Paris - on foot or by the wonderful public transport system. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to return someday.

We were satisfied with the Hotel Cabourg. The location was very handy to the Metro, which was important to us. The room was very small, but this is Europe. The staff was helpful. We would use this hotel again.

It was the first time we stayed in Paris. The situation of the hotel was perfect. Only the size of the room was a bit small. We had to ask for towels downstairs form the cleaning stuff, because they left only for one person. But anyway we had a very good time in Paris.

The room itself was too small and not in a very good shape, namely, old materials like carpets and the blankets were in very bad condition. But the location is excellent and the price too.

The hotel was much more than we expected and litterally 50mt from the undergound station! The room was a little small, but clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was not included in the price, but well worth it! We had a great time and hope to be back some time to Paris and to this hotel soon!

Molto piccolo ma carino e pulito. Rapportato aglia ltri prezzi in giro direi ottimo.

The hotel is situated nicely between two metro stops which made it easy to get back to after a long day of sightseeing. Clean and with a fan that made the warm evenings easier to bear with, this hotel was one of the best we stayed at on our budget tour through France and Italy. We're already planning another trip back with family and we'll be staying here because it has all the amenities you need. Just beware of the man eating lift doors. If you push the floor button before everyone is in, the door will try to crush you! None of that safety mechanism stuff! :) Overall a very nice place to stay while in Paris!

Really a nice stay, wonderful position there is anything you need just outside the door, clean rooms very nice guys helping for any need. Perfect if you are in Paris to visit the city and need a good point of reference. Price really good for Paris. Is a 2 stars but really nice.I will surely return there and suggest it to my friends!

The hotel is vary close to ROME metro station. Just a 3 mintue walk away. We suspected the twin room that we stay(the room just opposite the receiption counter)have some kind of bug or insect that bite. It has small blood stain on the bed liner. I found two ticks on on back pack. Will not stay there again.

Thir is a great hotel close to a metro station and a 5 min walk to Mouline Rouge and Montmarte. We did not spend much time in the hotel, since there is unlimited amount of things to see in Paris, so we only came there to sleep. The room was cleaned every day and the fact that it was right next to the subway made it a very comfortable stay. Highly recomend this hotel to those that are not intrested in spending a lot of money on a hotel, but still like to "sleep" in a clean and pleasent room and hvae acess to own showed and bathroom.

First I would like to give a special thank you to the staff. They were very kind and helpful. The hotel is small, but it has all you need, a nice clean bed to sleep in, A clean restroom, your basic tv. in the lounge you can use the internet For a small fee. We diceded to use the bus for our travel around the city I bought a 2 day all day pass was around 9euros, per person. They have easy maps at the bus stop’s that tell’s you what atractions they stop at. Also if you feel better taking the metro is right close by. Well the price was great, and I would be pleased to stay there again.

The bathroom is very small. It is even hardly entering the toilet. When showing, the floor became very wet, and then the water started to flow into the room. I have to manage it everyday. Also, the wall is very thin, you can hear the voice next door very cleary.

I felt that this was a very nice place to stay, especially for the price. Like most of the reviews before me, I would like to remind the traveler that it is not a luxury resort, it is your basic room, bed, bathroom and shower - and it even has a TV!, and breakfast for extra Euros... The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday. The employees of the hotel were nice and usually helpful. Try to get an unlimited metro pass for the amount of time your are staying, since it's a bit of a distance to central Paris. Besides a bit of noise during the days because of construction, and the thin walls at night, it was a comfortable place. I would go again.
