Nice small hotel. Room, bath and towels clean. Bright rooms with enough space. The street is a noisy with open windows. The bed is a little bit comfortless. Transport links are very good.

A nice hotel for the price. I was quite happy with my room, it was really decent, light and spacious and the bathroom was fine as well. I had a great view over the street, the staff was helpful and the neighbourhood is fine. Also the hotel is right next to metro stops. I'll definitely recommend it as decent place with a good location.

The hotel is within walk distance from Gare Du Nord and many other areas such as Pigalle and Marais, also close to a lot of good metro links. The room was a good size but quite shabby and dusty with a stained/ripped carpet. But the sheets and towels were clean and new ones supplied each day/bed made. It was adequate for the price and we had a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was my first time at the hotel and my experience was quite good. The worst thing was that we had to take the luggage to the room (4 floors by stairs because there is not any elevator). It is a hotel just to arrive at night, have a shower and sleep. That was we did. Another thing is that rooms are not so big and it was difficult for us to accomodate the luggage.

Really friendly and helpful staff, but really sad to say that they have bed bugs :-( Also, the handle to adjust the heating in the room was painted closed, so we had no control over the heating in the room. It was boiling and we had to sleep with the windows open, which flooded the room with the sounds from the busy main road below. I would not recommend this hotel.

As a youg couple traveling from paris to amsterdam with a couple of days to stay in paris we found the hotel close to gare de nord( the departure place of the train 2 metro stations away from the hotel) we found the hotel very easy it has metro station opposite the road and another metro station 200 m away of other 2 lines except the one opp , rooms clean and hot all the time (it was end of november)apart from the stairs , the hotel has 2 rooms on each floor with 5 floors we staid on the 5th everything else was exactly what we wanted i would defenetly go to stay again there

It would be good if you would put on your website photos of bathrooms and stairs. I think it's not good hotel for someone who has asthma or is allergic to dust because it's really hard to climb all that narrow, downhill and dusty stairs to the 4. floor. We colud choose between 2 rooms and the first one was very small and seemed not so clean like the other one. It would be great if the stuff carry the baggage to your room.

This hotel was clean, but there was no air and if we opened the windows to let cool air in it was way to loud because of the busy street in front. There were a lot of sirens that went off at all hours of the day. Some positives were it was close to the metro and train station, close to bakeries and markets, and the staff were friendly.

Good value for money, recently refurbished clean room with en-suite bathroom, just 20m from Jacques Bonsergent Metro station! However: no air-con, had to sleep with the window open and it was very noisy (lots of traffic on Boulevard Magenta). Breakfast not included (7€ / day)

I was looking for somewhere near Gare du Nord. It's a twenty minute walk away which could be a problem if you had a lots of bags. The room was at the top of a very narrow steep flight of stairs. The room itself was spartan but clean and newly decorated. Overall, for a single guy looking for a budget stay it was ok, but I think 72euros for a night with no breakfast felt steeper than the staircase.

Location & convenience was excellent. Located right across the street from a Metro stop slightly north of center. Supermarket & laundry within 1 or 2 blocks of hotel. Hotel is work in progress. Room was fine but was on fourth floor walkup, quite a hike. Maids didn't replace used towels first day but afterwards fine. Showerhead fitting was missing but they replaced with new & better fitting within few days. Hot water ran out during shower but they claimed it was not usual. Staff were really great in trying & meeting issues. I guess for the price it was a good value but not sure I would stay here again.

Hotel Bien-Etre was a lucky find. Of course, my fiance and I waited until the last minute to find accommodations for our week-long stay in Paris. Neither of us had been to the city before and neither of us knew French very well. There were about 4 of 5 guys that rotated shifts and all of them were very friendly. They all knew English quite well, and didn't make us feel bad for not knowing French. We came in late a couple of times, and all we had to do was knock and they let us in. Reasonably priced. The rooms were great too--comfortable and supportive bed, blackout shades, enough closet space.
