Reception staff was not professional. Room we received was still occupied. Cleaning staff was very noisy from early in the morning; talking loudly in corridors when cleaning. Hotel rate (70 Euro) was OK, but breakfast (15 Euro pp) too expensive for what is served and more then similar hotels in Paris. Of course, you can always get breakfast in a café in the neighbourhood... Very good location.

The hotel is very well located for everything. On Grand Bvld Metro, take Montmartre Exit then you won't be walking far to the hotel. The lobby is very spacious and cheerful due to its recent renovation. The staff are good and helpful but not necessary warm! The room is too small for two person - that two peroson would hardly have any space to turn around or put in more than one small suitcase under the desk. The furniture is very beaten and worn-out but not broken. The bathroom is very clean and has been modernized in room 317. It is a funcitional hotel in the heart of Paris for 99 Euro per night for single or double in the winter. There are plenty of cafes and bakeries in the neighborhood, there is also an Internet Cafe for 1 Euro an hour just two streets down on the right; while there is a small supermarket just one block on the right.

Very nice hotel to be in. Top of 3 stars category, could be 4. The room (126) was very large, quiet, opening on an inner garden. Best qual/price ratio I had in Paris.

Very poor value for money. It is not in the centre so should be a lot cheaper. I only went there because it was near my appointment. Normally I pay a lot less in the 8th, 5th and 6th at as good or better hotels. Service was not good and it appears that they may be more used to group tourists.

Quiet business and tourist guests. Convenient and central in the eclecic Bergere district with easy access to transportation, shopping, and excellent restaurants and bakeries. Didn't try the hotel breakfast because the croissants were so good around the corner. AC was great, and the room was large and comfortable. Although very close to the elevator, we never were disturbed by any noise.

L'hotel si trova in un'ottima posizione, nel centro di Parigi, l'ideale per visitare la città. Le camere non sono grandissime, ma assolutamente confortevoli. Personale multilingue molto disponibile.

On arrival we found that the TV in the room did not work properly. After the repair man could not fix it because of aerial problems two lovely young ladies appeared and offered to transfer us into a neighbouring room with a functioning TV. This was service beyond any expectation.

Hotel was a great bargain for Paris and centrally located to many sites and the metro. Staff was very helpful with questions. And even though the weather was extremely hot, the A/C worked well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day stay at the Bergère Opéra and would definitely stay there again. The hotel took a little finding as we thought it was closer to the Garnier Opéra. Its name and the tiny plan we downloaded may have mislead us somewhat. Everything about the hotel pleased us: our room (a little larger that most), the attractive and spacious lobby and lounge (the latter with a delightful mosaic floor), the panoramic lift and most of all the friendly and helpful staff. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel dining room but we did take advantage of the offer of an electric jug for an early morning cup of tea/coffee. The hotel is situated in an animated quartier near the Grands Boulevards with many small food shopes, cafés, a nearbye post office and a laundrette. One cultural bonus was the proximity of several 18th century 'passages couverts' with at least one of the original businesses. Fascinating!

Overall we were happy at this hotel, but it was a bit hot at night. I am not sure the airconditioning was working very well (but I never asked them to look into it either..). The garbage-truck that came every morning in the street outside was very noisy, and people in cars behind it started beeping because they couldn't get past. At least this didn't happen until 07.45, so I guess it was time to get up anyway. The location was great and everyone was friendly. Nice breakfast-buffet!

The Bergere Opera Hotel is ideally located to visit all parts of the city with the Metro, restaurants and sights all within close walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable and had a relaxing atmosphere allowing me to have a care free holiday.

For shopping - Absolutely fabulous! Galleries Lafayette, Printemps - bars, restaurants. We even walked up to Sacre Coeur from there, although you obviously don't have to! Not too far from the Louvre and The Tuilleries as well so perfect all round, but make sure you've got a good map. And try the buses, you see a lot more than in the metro and just as cheap.

The room is VERY small and looks a bit old (standard room) and though i understand they might wanna put online pics of their prettier rooms, still it couldn't look more different... The staff is cold and isn't really helpful--when we asked for hot water at the counter, they wouldn't even do the delivery to our room but asked us to wait and take it upstairs ourselves. The minibar is locked and there are no kettle, teabags, or teacups. Also, like one of the previous reviews said, their new elevator was out of order without any notice on it. For all this i find the room is pretty overpriced. Unless you care only about the location convenience and you have a great company to enjoy Paris with, othewise i'd try my luck with other hotels.

Stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. Friendly staff - very helpful and polite. Extra friendly if you try to speak just e few words of french - bonsoir, bonjour, merci... The first night we got room no 012 which had no windows and with a broken air con it was too hot. The staff suggested that we changed rooms the next morning and so we did. The new rooms was way better. Clean rooms although a bit small. Very nice and clean bathrooms with a good shower. The soundproofing in the rooms lacks a bit. Breakfast wasn't included but costs 14 EURO. Eat cheaper around the corner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone but those who want big, quiet rooms and can pay several hundred EUROS per night to get it. Very good price/quility relationship, don't think you can find a hotel that offers better price and service than this one in Paris.

We were very satisfied with our five night stay at the Bergere Opera. The hotel was immaculate and the reception staff were highly efficient. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, ideal for families with young children and visitors who prefer tranquility to decibels. There is a sprinkling of pavement cafes/restaurants virtually on your doorstep serving good standard meals at affordable prices. The nearest Metro station is just a few minutes walk away giving easy access to all the main visitor attractions in Paris. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bergere Opera - but not if you want bright lights and a disco beat. Well done Venere.com

The room was very small and hot just under the roof and the air con (mentioned on the website) is out of order in summer according to the employees!! The elevator to our floor was out of order about 3 days of our weekly stay but you ahad to find out by yourself, there was no sign or anything, the thing just did not work. The public area is poor and not inviting the employees not really helpful. But at our arrival in the minibar were some medical contraceptives, very thoughtful indeed?! But when you tried to open the minibar it came out of the wall. The hotel is not at the big avenue but at a little backside.

A reasonable hotel in an area of the city which is convenient for most things. Hotel breakfast was expensive but it was easy to find more reasonably priced alternatives within easy reach.
