It was not so nice to find rat-poison under the bed the day we left... We dit wonder why! Otherwise a very nice hotel. Especially I liked the balcony!

hotel is in great location for exploring Montmarte area and very close to metro for easy access to anywhere in paris.Very clean, lovely bright bedroom with two large windows opening onto little balcony overlooking street only problem was street noise closing windows solved this,good breakfast for price,yogurt,cheese, bread,tea, coffee ect.also lots of good restaraunts and cafes close by.If you are looking for a nice clean budget hotel with helpful pleasant staff you wont go far wrong with Beausejour. Would definitly return.

We had booked two triple rooms and our retervation was confirmed, but at arrival they didn't have any rooms for us at the hotel. We were offered rooms in another hotel 20 minutes away with taxi. The hotel payed the taxi and after a bargin we recieved free breakfast. We were very disapointed because we had used hours on the internet to find this hotel - the garden was beautiful and the hotel was situated where we wanted to stay. We never saw the rooms, but the lobby and garden were even nicer than the pictures showed. I would recommend the hotel, but wouldn't trust the confirmation without an extra e-mail og phonecall.

My feeling is that the room was overrated for the amenities it provided considering that breakfast was not included in the price: the room was very small, the bathroom rather old, the building old and dark. However the hotel was very well located, the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels (not sheets however), breakfast was adequate for its price and there was also this absolutely beautiful patio, where breakfast was served, which really made your day. Generally, I would be very happy with the overall stay if I had paid like 20 - 30 Euros less a day for the room.

I stayed for 6 days. Nice people, clean room, good breakfast. The overall stay was very pleasant and I would definitely go there again.

Reception is staffed 24hrs. Staff were helpful, but English (and possibly French!) limited. Strangely, reception could not arrange for a taxi to take four of us from the hotel to the next-but-one arrondissement. Rooms at the back of the hotel were quiet. There are many floors (we were right at the top) and the lift is slow when called. The garden was charming and breakfast (extra) was adequate and the service was warm and friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent for accessing public transport, Montmartre & Pigalle, but the parking was some distance away and reception were unable to book, or even check if there were any spaces. (Parking in a secure covered car park cost €25 for about 18hrs)

The room was tiny, even for me and my husband, we're skinny as sticks. As we requested for non-smoking rooms due to my acute asthma, it just means that the room is aired and the other rooms down the corridor had smokers in it so especially at night, the smoke will drift into your room as the door has a gap at the base. We had to check out earlier so I could recover from having asthma attack every night. On the brighter side of things, i loved the balcony view. Breakfast was also great in the bright and airy fresh cafe. Staff was helpful and friendly. May 2007.

Way over priced for what you get. The walls are paper thin and if you have a window on the street, its very loud all night. It is nothin gmore than a glorified hostel. Will never recommend nor stay there again.

Really appreciated single occupancy at a reasonable rate. Pleasant outside space would be a bonus in the summer months. Excellent metro connections.

The hotel is ok, no more or less than you would expect for this price. It's clean enough, not too noisy and staff are helpful and friendly. Location is good, in a quiet side street of the busy Boulevard des Batignolles and nearby the Place de Clichy metro station.

What a find! Located in a charming part of Clichy, away from the main tourist strips. Exploring the back streets here was a joy! Room was attractive and well appointed for a 2 star hotel (the hotel also had free internet access). Staff were friendly and helpful.

dans les chambres,le mobilier est pauvre, vetuste et triste, la salle de bain a aussi besoin d'un coup de neuf- les parties communes sont plus plaisantes- les draps et les serviette sont tres propres- le petit dejeuner est tres correct

The welcoming was not so pleasant.They were not able to find our reservation and insisted that there was no application.It took some 15 minutes for them to find our reservation, during which time we were upset.I am not sure if it was included in the price but we had to pay for the breakfast.

The hotel was basic but supplied all the essentials. Most of the guests seemed to be French - which must be a good sign! The receptionists were friendly. Just a place to sleep and have breakfast (6 euros)bur nicely positioned 2 minutes from the tube (Place Clichy) and the Moulin Rouge stop on the "Open Bus" tourist bus.

This hotel was fine for just a one night stay. It was clean and functional. It's a bit out of the way, if you want to be right in amongst things, but it works. The staff was very friendly and since we arrived early in the morning we were able to leave our luggage and go sightseeing. If you stay here, check out the Abbess neighborhood up the hill from the hotel, which has better shops and restaurants. Overall, a fine place to stay.

On arriving at the Hotel Beausejour 2000, I was made very welcome for my entire stay. Information was to hand and the hotel was idealy situated. I would have no hesitation staying here again and would recommend it. It is basic, but does suit all requirements.
