Hotel Bassano - Paris

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location.

This should actually be classified as a 3 star hotel and not 4 star comparing it to other hotels all over the world of the same standard. However the staff were excellent I must say

Hotel Bassano was wonderful, located just a few minutes walk from the Champs Elysee. The hotel rooms were newly decorated, very clean, very comfortable and really quiet. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommeded!

GOOD HOTEL, MORE SIMILAR TO APARTMENT FOR RENT BUT MORE LUXURY . NICE AREA CLOSED TO CHAMPS ELISEES AND AV.MONTAIGNE . I WENT SEVERAL TIMES IN PARIS AND LIVED THERE 3 YEARS , DEFINITELY GOOD HOTEL .

We visited Paris the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 20-24). The location was great for us. It was not too far of a walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Arc di Triomphe was so close. It was just off the Champs Elysee which is loaded with expensive stores and super expensive restaurants, but they are very good restaurants. We had a problem with the transportation strike which lead to a lot of walking. Other than that it was great. Our hotel was beautiful and very accomodating! They will book excursions for you and they will direct you to any sights you want to see. Also they give great reccommendations on restaurants in the area that aren't as expensive. We truly had a GREAT experience at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The one negative was that late at night there was always some random person screaming someone's name down the street. Better luck to you! Great hotel!

We have been to Paris many times and this is the best hotel that we have stayed in. It is a little more expensive than our usual choice of hotel but you do get what you pay for and we would not hesitate to book the Bassano for our next trip.

Great hotel and great location.

Very nice boutique hotel on a quiet street only 3 blocks from the Champs d'Elysee, the Arc de Triumph and a few minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Also, the metro station on the Champs d'Elysee is only a few minutes away and will be able to take you wherever in Paris. Also, if you have a car (there is a car park for a fee)you will be able to get in and out of Paris in no time (without going through Paris itself). Location was wonderful, our room(we had a Superior)was very nice, with plenty of closet space. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but you can go to the nearby Bakery or Cafe for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return on our next time in Paris.

Great location and price. Hotel is very clean and had the best breakfast vs. all hotels we stayed at in Europe. Very close walk to major sites, highly recomend this hotel.

Not luxury, but very nice and clean hotel. I recommend.

A lot of the reviews talk about the luxury aspect of their stay , fancy bathrobes , chocolate, large rooms/bathrooms etc. I stayed as a single at a very good rate but the room was small and there was a feeling of ordinariness rather than luxury ( no bathrobes , small room etc ) great location and I will use it next time in Paris but an upgraded room is necessary . Maybe the trick is not to stay as a single !

Excellent small hotel. Great new sheets and towels, soft bathrobes and a well appointed bathroom. As expected small rooms and a small lobby, but if you want the George Cinq - you pay for the George Cinq!
