We have stayed in Paris several times and are aware that hotels can be very expensive. We found the Baldi to be a good basic hotel. It wasn't luxurious but we didn't expect luxury at the price we paid. It was freshly decorated and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a metro station close by the hotel, giving us easy access to any part of Paris, especially the Latin Quarter for good restaurants! We would certainly stay at the Baldi again.

Very simple hotel, but great if you are not planning to spend your time in the room. Very good price/quality ratio for Paris. Decent location and connections with city center.

Nice hotel with great view towards Eiffel Tower from 7th floor :-) A bit noisy as open-air Metro goes nearby on the level of second floor. Also surprising was night (2.30 a.m.) repairing of rails with pneumatic equipment :-) The Hotel is nice and clean with helpful staff. Two metro lines nearby, Hertz rent-a-car is accross the road at Shell gas-station.

Fantastic staff. Great location (3 minutes by foot to Metro, 10 minutes to Eiffel Tower.) It's clean. I think the reason why the price is so good is because the rooms are small. Elevator is small. Stairs are tight. For the price, you can't do any better. So, if you want to see Paris, this is a perfect hotel. If you want to sit in your hotel room, you might want something bigger and more expensive. I'd definitely go back. The staff was really great. Breakfast was 10 euros extra and very limited.

Hotel Baldi was a great price for the area. The hotel was definitely minimal, but very clean and the staff was super! The metro is above ground across the street and made it difficult to sleep with the windows open. On the plus side, close to the metro and within walking of the eiffel tower.

Ci siamo trovati veramente bene, qualità/prezzo ottima. Metro cambronne a 3 minuti a piedi. 3 fermate da torre eiffel. Personale gentile che parla ottimo inglese.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to metro with plenty of nice restaurants, cafe/bars and fast food places nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but clean and had a good sized shower room en-suite. The only complaint would be the bed which was very very uncomfortable!! Nothing that a new mattress wouldnt solve!! Altogether a nice cheap and cheerful hotel.

Hotel Baldi is very close to public transportation. Many nice restaurants are in the area. My son and I had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Baldi. Hotel staff are very friendly; we communicated in English without problems.

Everything was ok , but breakfast should cost less (10,00 euros per person is really too much!)and the internet should be free at least for the first 5 minutes! I have been to Paris 15 times .

I had research hotels in Paris for over a month before finding this treasure...so glad I found them. They were extremely helpful with everything we needed! We expected small rooms so this wasn't a surprise...the air conditioning was a real PLUS and we had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower! Very close to Metro so getting around was exceptionally easy. The only drawback was that we were expecting there to be free internet access and there was a fee for it. However, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice hotel, very friendly personnel, small but clean rooms and equiped with everything you can need. Mostly a traditional french hotel. The metro stations are very close and most of turistic objectives are at maximum half of hour of walk. Excellent if you want to visit Paris.

very good location 15 minuts walk from Eiffel Tower,5 minutes to metro;lots of shops and restaurants in the area.Hotel very nice and clean, spacious room and large, new fitted bathroom.Recommended to anyone who is coming to Paris for a short break, you can walk to main tourist atractions so you can save time and money. 10 euro per person for a breakfast at the hotel I think is a bit pricey.

Last week we stayed at a Double Room in Hotel Baldi. It's a typical room if you don't plan to stay in the hotel all day. It has a bed, closet, private bathroom and a TV and that's about it. But the price is quite low too, so you can't expect to get a full equiped spacious room. The only thing I thought needed improvement was the level of English the staff spoke. And if you're staying at Baldi and you're going to view the city, make sure you get a metro card. Baldi is close to two stations and you can go everywhere from there. Quite handy.

Nice, english speaking staff, clean (every day new towels etc.) room, very familiar atmosphere, non-stop reception. I can recommend this hotel for everyone who prefer friendly atmosphere and cleanness for a good price. Room was not too big but fully suitable for vacation which man doesn't want to spend on his room.

For the purposes I was in Paris this Hotel was perfect. It was very very close to the Unesco headquarters where I spent most of my days and also close to a good subwaystation. The service was good and the staff very friendly. The rooms were quite small but I didn't mind since it was really only for sleeping. I would most definetly stay there again on a stay under the same circumstances.

I liked it that the room is quite clean despite its small size, and the bedsheets smell & feel clean. The bathroom is clean, fresh linen is provided daily, but its also quite small. However, the room can get quite dark at night since there are only two bedside reading lamps, and a desk with a lamp to provide the artificial lighting (the bathroom light helps a little to illuminate the room). It was quite difficult for me to secure a taxi to the airport after I checked out from the hotel. The hotel baldi personnel were very accomodating but I waited for 20 minutes and they still couldn't get me a taxi.
