Fair for the money (€43 per night for a single room in the 14e Arr is very good going - but you do get what you pay for. Rooms are small, shower room/WC is small and towel is small, bed is small, but it was reasonably clean and tidy, and in a nice neighborhood.

I was in one of the courtyard groundfloor rooms (double bed). this is quiet indeed, while you can hear a bit you neighbours. the biggest problem in this cold season, was the temperature of the room and the freezing air coming from the bathroom. Hotel recommended for people just willing to have a place to sleep with easy access to RER B and Métro station (in particular Denfer Rochereau).

It's not the best hotel in the world. But, for the price you pay - and the fact that you get a really REALLY quiet room with a bath just outside a metro station -, it's an ideal place just to crash when you really stays outdoors more than indoors.

We selected the hotel for good price/location. Both were exactly as promised. We do not expect breakfast or laundry services from this price. But we found good small hotel with few nice shops and public laundry near by. Hotel is located 3 minutes from metro station or (if You prefer to do it by walk) 1 hour of walking from Luxemburg gardens.

Instead of the bad - two piled mattresses, the synthetic bed clothes, small TV with incontrollable sound, bad sound isolation of rooms, the staff speaking loudly in rez-de-chaussez Advantages: anyhow, the staff tried to keep clean the place, low price, good area outside

Establishment is clean and the furnishings are adequate, despite a cramped shower and somewhat mushy bed. I would suggest that the management display the WIFI access code in the rooms, as the reception desk hours are quite limited, making it inconvenient / difficult to ask questions, such as requesting the internet codes. Staff, when present, were quite pleasant and welcoming.

You definitely need to bring a tetanus shot with you! The rooms are scandalously dirty, we were welcomed by a smell of moisture everytime we entered the room, shower had spots of fungus everywhere, ground towels for the shower had suspicious brown stains and balls of dust were lying in the less accessible corners. The bed was worn-out and formed a hollow in the middle. Reception open only a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon, although there's an automated system to gain your key if you arrive during (their) off hours. Although we managed to survive, we definitely do not recommend this facility to anyone.

The room had water stains; its furniture and general aspect was depressing. The door had a glass and no window, so you need to close the curtains and use artificial light all the time. Reception is closed at 9:30 p.m. For the same prices a better hotel can be found, even in Paris.

Some mold. Feels like a dorm room. However, you must remember this is one of cheapest hotels (non-hostels) in Paris. you get what you pay for. Aside from the mold, the rooms were clean. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a decent, clean bed to rest and nothing else, this place we'll do fine.

For our group of 5 persons the cleanliness and quietness of rooms were different but 4 of them (single rooms) were so small that it was impossible to move inside. The hotel surroundings are good but the services and facilities offered do not correspond to the previously given information. The question about the relationship between price and quality can be accepted as good one taking into account the many our colleagues were at similar difficult conditions but in much more expensive hotels. We were happy to visit Paris with its monuments and kind people, but the 2 and 3 stars hotels are not attractive places.

It is a very basic hotel with basic facilities. Good for people who would like to travel more and stay less in hotel. Rooms and toilets are quite small. not much space to move around - but otherwise clean. Close to the metro station - excellent location near to central Paris in a quiet street. The behavior of the staff was easy going and helpful. Early check in was possible. This hotel does not provide breakfast.

The Hotel is very basic - family like business, but the relationship between price/quality and its location worths it all! The location is great, you can catch the RER train from the airport and arrive at the hotel walking if you don't have many luggage. Only point to note: the reception has scheduled hours to open. No breakfast, but you can make your own hot tea in the room. To conclude, I definitely will book the hotel again!

Well the hotel was situated in a brilliant area only 3 mins walk from subway and had a great Parisian mix of bars and restaurants. it wasn't the most modern of facilities in the area or cleanest however for the price it was just what was expected. a very welcoming staff and i would recommend this hotel to travelers Back-packers and young couples on a budget!

The location is excellent. Only a stone throw away from the nearest Metro and lots of stores closeby. The only set back is the fact we have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. Shouldnt be a problem for younger people. But older folks beware! you might break your knees. If you are expecting a posh hotel, tear a hole in your wallet and go somewhere else. This is hotel is perfect for budget travellers and those who wishes to spend more time in the city rather than in the room.

Ridiculously awful accomodations. Couldn't have paid me 45 Euros/night to stay there. Was escorted to my room and almost passed out from the stench coming from the bathrooms that were across the courtyard. Left my bags in my room, shopped other hotels around the neighborhood for about 1 1/2 hours, found a totally superior room for 60 Euros, picked up my bags and informed desk clerk I had to leave. And, desk clerk seemed to know a lot more English when I arrived than when I was leaving. Not even disputing the 1-night $60 charge from Aviatic -- hopefully they will put some of it into capital improvements (like a bed that doesn't sag 6 inches in the middle). Trust me on this -- in Paris, anything less than 60 Euros/night will get you something waaaaay worse (i.e., dirtier, smellier) than a Red Roof room.

The room was quite correct for its price. We had spent some days in other hotels in the same category in France before and compared to those the spaciousness of the room was quite OK. The metro station is very close, you can reach downtown easily. The bathroom should have been much cleaner, that was our only real problem.

We had a room outside and it was cold and damp. The heater was barely working even though we turned it on high. There were hairs all over the blanket and the top quilt was covered in stains. We didn't use the hotel's towels because there were stains on those, too. The bed was really lumpy. If you need to stay at this hotel, make sure to request a room inside the building!!!

The price is adequate, you get what you pay for and nothing more. The plus is free internet near the reception, however it's only open when the receptionist is there. The whole hotel is like a maze, we had to use outside pathway to get to our room. The room is fairly small, with tiny bathroom with shower. There's no breakfast included in the price, but we found a nice French cafeteria where we had the best breakfast in the whole trip. There are some restaurants nearby, but one we used is not worth recommending. The location is quite good, metro station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center. Overall we wouldn't stay there again.

Avıatıc was a basıc room wıth enough room to be comfortable, a functıonal bathroom, and relatıvely competent and busıness-only staff. The hotel is nice enough and very close to a metro station. The neighborhood feels very safe. Be prepared to walk up a crooked stairwell to get to your room. The rooms are tiny and the common areas are very minimal. It´s a good place to sleep, and little else. Recommended for a simple place to flop for a few hours before getting back to knowing such a great city.

The accomodation was perfectly corresponding to the description given in previous postings. The owners were friendly, the hotel is easy to reach, cheap, the room had a clean and well-functioning bathroom, but the room's floor was not very clean and the walls and the door are not noise-absorbing at all. since the hotel is in Paris, very ok compared to the price. recommended for unassuming guests.

The location is absolutely fine; very easy to reach with Metro, nice surroundings also for going by foot. Not too far from the famous monuments, but far enough to be able to see REAL Paris life! Nice cafés, many bakeries, good stores for whatsoever. Beautiful streets and buildings, many parks in the neighbourhood. Absolutely a good choise, if you dont mind sleeping in a somewhat poor looking room with a very dirty toilette-door... And don`t look in the corners, just go to bed and sleep! So, if you dont want to spend much money for sleeping in a fine room, this is an OK alternative.

We stayed in a triple room at the front of the hotel. The room was directly above the tabac adjoining the hotel and there was considerable noise at night. The worst thing about the hotel was the dirt. The bathroom was black with mould and I couldn't bear to put my two children in the shower, they had sponge baths in the sink. The carpet smelled awful and was dirty. The bed did not seem clean and was very soft and uncomfortable. The reception has very short opening hours and the staff were surly and rude. The best thing about the hotel is the location - we had a train to catch from Montparnasse, which is within easy waking distance. One further note - there are two Aviatic hotels in Paris. It seems that some reviews on this site confuse the two.

Great hotel for great price! Location is very comfortable: one minute to metro station and up to half an hour to center! You are given your own kees so you can be back when you want and so many times as you want not feeling uncomfortable for bothering or speaking to enyone. We didn't even dream to find a room with toilet and shower for such price but actually got even more advantages! Services provided were impeccable! Linens, towels and even a 'pleasant trifle'- tee are changed every day! Another thing we did't think about when looking for a hotel, but which proved to be really useful - electro tee-kettle and basik dishes (cups, knives and spoones you don't think about when packing). We also thought that we won't need internet: why sit in the net instead of walking in Paris - but some unforseen moment - and you are on the cloud nine when there is one (free!) in your hotel. Very pleasant stuff! Fair paying policy! We really enjoyed our stay!!!

The reception desk is only open for certain hours during the day and when we arrived early afternoon it was closed. An employee reluctantly unlocked the door for us after we had trouble with their automated key dispenser. The whole place smelled somewhat of plaster/paint. There is no air conditioning and opening your window to get a breeze just means the sounds from the courtyard are amplified. The room was not the cleanest and so tiny it was difficult to move around. The bed did not have a pillow, but a foam log covered by a sheet (which had holes in it). The bedding looked ancient. Free internet is provided during open reception hours, but is very very slow. There is no elevator and the staircase is very narrow (hard to maneuver luggage). Some days our room was cleaned and we got new towels, other days it wasn't. Good location, right next to the metro. I traveled all over Europe on a budget and this was by far the worst hotel I stayed in.

The place was terrible, smelly, dirty and incredibly old. I am not a picky person and usually I can stand many places and situations but this hotel it was just horrible. I even think it has been the worst hotel I have ever been in. I will not recommend it at all. The only good think was location. We only stayed here for one night, having traveled through Germany and ending in Paris for our flight back home. With all of the luggage we had, carrying it up to the third floor on a rickety staircase was quite the feat. The surrounding area was very nice, with restaurants and cafe's lining the streets; even a grocery store nearby. The metro is just a short walk away. There is an odd key dispenser if you arrive at the hotel outside of the lobby's hours of operation, which are a little slim. It worked fine though. They also have a key dropbox should you need to leave when no one is at the desk. Free wi-fi/wired internet on an in-house computer; always a good thing. They also provided tea and a kettle; I don't know if this is standard or not, but I appreciated it. Overall, what we got for the money was good; just pack lightly if you're thinking about using this place, or request a room on a lower floor.

Great location, good size room with ensuite full shower/toilet with steady hot water. All thought this was the best hotel of the trip as rooms in England/France are usually too small, but this was nice. Great location! Free PC for quick emails when staff is in. All stores and market right on street. Safe area even late at night.

Hotel is an excellent place. Most popular buildings and structure are wery close from Aviatic so we visited it by foot. The minus is for that the hotel was not special clean (It was not vacuum and the coverlet was dirty)on top of that we have... hole in mattress in our bed!...

A cheap and no-frills hotel excellently situated just around the corner from Mouton-Duvernet metro station and 5 minutes' walk from Denfert-Rochereau (RER B from CDG airport, amongst others). Very small room with double bed (and a broken WC/bathroom door) was what we expected, if not better: recently painted and renovated and very clean. The floor wasn't nearly level but so what? Everything could be heard from other rooms but traffic noise was not a problem thanks to well sealing windows (and the fact that Rue Brezin does not have much traffic, anyway). Internet was available in the "lobby" when the reception was manned, however the promised free WLAN didn't work, at least not for me. The staff was reasonably friendly and helpful, only French spoken (and given my French I must say that they did their best!). One thing to complaint is that my credit card was charged without asking - I don't think that's the way it's supposed to be?!? Another disturbing thing: the lobby/reception photo on the website is definitely NOT from this hotel as there is no lobby, just a short corridor and a reception desk! Why fake - it just raises doubts about the overall credibility! Having said all that, we stayed there four nights and got excellent value for budget-travellers' money. Maybe we were just lucky, but we'd go there again.

I went with my husband for short stay and we were very happy. The room was nice size and clean. The receptionist was very helpful. We would come again. Good value for money.

I had one of their smallest rooms, but that was okay because I was one person. It was quite quiet--looked out into a nice courtyard. The bathroom smelled a bit of mildew, but I sort of expected that. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. I'd stay there again. There's a nice open-air market on Tuesday mornings down the street.

Clean, small rooms. You hear everything that's going on in the other rooms. No breakfast, limited reception hours, but still a very good price for the area.

The hotel is what I have expected- small but clean room, there are noises from other rooms but that´s funny ;-) For the prices in Paris this hotel is situated in a good area and it´s kind of charming small Paris Hotel, enough to have a good sleeping place for a couple days! I would go there again!

Hotel was not clean, and we were disappointed with the standard of the rooms. The pictures on the website were definetely misleading. The rooms were dirty and had a musty smell. There was also a toilet pipe on display on the ceiling, therefore we could hear the toilets upstairs being flushed all the time. Would not recommend this hotel! Although the price was reasonable, we did expect better quality than this! We changed hotel before even staying there.

Cleanliness of rooms is an area for development. For example dirty carpets and a dirty smelly blanket left in the bottom of the wardrobe. Aside from that, this is a decent budget hotel in what appears to be a safe area next door to a friendly pub, two or three minutes walk form the metro, two minute walk from a market and walking distance to a whole host of various activities, nightlife, shopping, catacombs, eating out etc etc. Great city!!

Never go to room no. 10. The whole window frame was full of mildew. We changed the room then. It was free from mildew, but still far away from clean. We did not stay long, so it was okay, but do not expect much. Overall it was the cheapest hotel I ever styed in with the worst quality. But maybe this is what you get in Paris for this price.
