I've stayed twice at this hotel, both times for about a week. It's amazing to me that such a nice little room with its own bathroom is this cheap in Paris. It's not in the city center, but it's right by the Pasteur metro station, so no biggie. The staff are very friendly, and the front desk clerks speak French, English, and Spanish. Perfect hotel if you're going to be spending the day out and about but want a clean, cozy place to retreat to at night.

Breakfast was expensive and we did not take it at the hotel. Next to the hotel, on the main road (bd. Elevator is very small and stops between floors. Reception staff is very helpful.

Very good location, even though is not in the center of Paris is one block away from the Metro Station where you can reach downtown Paris in a matter of minutes. Quite and safe area. Rooms are small, but what I look the most is the cleanliness, and it was, so I prefer that over size. Staff very helpful.

The Avia Saphir Monparnasse is an excellenct location in Paris, you can get anywhere within minutes. The Hotel is old and antiquated. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. The carpets in the the hotel are very old and stained. This hotel needs some desperate remodeling. The best part of this hotel was the staff, they were very helpful and informative on where to go and how to get there. To use the Wifi in the room you must create a Meteor account so i skipped it and found other places to use Free Wifi. If I was asked if I would stay here again, I would say yes if I was alone or with friends, but with my Wife and Daughter No, the rooms are not family friendly.

The staff were not as friendly and helpful as the reviews would lead one to believe. The room facing the main street was very, very noisy. If you are a light sleeper, you definitely need ear plugs if you want the window left open for air circulation. There was some mould in the shower and the carpet was none too clean. The location was great and the staff at the Cafe Pasteur around the corner were very personable. I am very lax in terms of my accommodation needs, howevder, this hotel was overpriced for services offered. If I had paid 100 euros instead of 130 euros, it would have been good value.

Room is quite small that you cannot open the bathroom door without the bed blocking it. Our window was above a kitchen chimney that blew smoke 24/7. Nice area with several local eateries. Easy walk to the Mont Parnasse station, or the Metro from Denfert station(train RER B from CDG airport). A nice walk to the Eiffel tower or the Metro to just about any where, the metro is accross the street from the hotel. Get a Metro pass when you buy the RER train ticket at the air port. The hotel was nice and close to the metro-station. It was clean and the staff was ok. The bed was really small for 2 people and there was no airconditioning, so we had to leave the window open and the street was quite noisy. You have to pay your whole stay at arrival, so make sure you have enough money with you. We came in late at night and wanted to pay only the first night, but that was impossible. A great place to stay in. Very convinient and nice location, rooms are clean, the staff is polite and helpful. The only disadvantage was absence of TV-channels in English/Russian. Apart from that, very good impression. Will definitely stay here next time.

Rooms very clean. No smell of cigarettes but might be good to have designated NON-smoking rooms. Bathroom was REALLY VERY small. If you are size 58 + (man) you may not get into it. The Openning/enterance is very narrow. The Dayshift reseptionist was excellent - highly, highly competent and supportive. Communication was a real pleasure! The Nightshift needs more cooperativeness. Overall rating - a very good hotel for the price. If needed - will come back.

The TV remote was attached to the table, which might be understandable, but certainly does not provide a positive message to the customers.
