Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel - Paris

Nice hotel and quite residencial area.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise after reading the "horror" stories posted about other hotels in Paris. The room and bathroom were large. The hotel was located in a nice neighborhood that was convenient to the subway and there were several small grocery stores nearby with fresh croissants and pastries. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel because I felt that $16 Euros was too expensive, so I cannot comment on the quality of the food. This hotel did not have Parisian ambiance, but I was more interested in a quiet, spacious, and clean hotel that was close to the major sites. I would compare the quality of the hotel to be similar to that of most American chain hotels but at a higher price.

It has a convenient address. The main problem was airconditioning because of which we got sick unfortunately. But it was ok overall..

Overall we are satisfied with our stay the only thing that gives an bad memory was that we needed to pay 16 Euros per person the last day for breakfast. This even if I pointed out that no eggs and no bacon/sausages was served when we left the breakfast room. This price was the highest that we paid for a breakfast during our visit in Paris, but the breakfast was the worst we had during our stay. This has to be improved. One other thing was that the baby cot that we were supposed to have was not delivered to our room even if we pointed this out several times. The transfer price to the airport that we paid in the hotel reception was not what the transport company asked for when we was at the airport.

Very well situated, clean, nice rooms, polite and friendly staff. The room rate was good value. We were only there for one night and didn't have a meal, but we will certainly stay there again and will recommend it to friends.
