I stay in Paris for 1 week. The room was perfect for a single person. The location was very good, very near of metropolitan. Breakfast was very good. The employees were very nice, they also speak english.

Overall it was a good stay at the hotel which I only used for sleeping after sightseeing during the day. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and had a sufficient size. I even found fruits and yoghurt for breakfast (even though it doesn't match breakfast buffets in Switzerland or Austria). Located in a quiet side street but still near to the city center it is a bit noisy, but I managed to sleep with the windows open. But there are several sights within walking distance and the metro station is only a few steps away. In a few hundred meters distance there starts the "Marais" quarter with a lot of cool bars and restaurants. As a reasonably priced hotel quite in the midst of Paris I can recommend Arts et Métiers.

Nice hôtel, well situated in Paris, near Beaubourg and Les Halles.

Good location, fairly quiet but still with good access to the Marais and the city centre. I've stayed in more plush surroundings for a similar amount of money elsewhere, but I guess this was pretty good for Paris.

Very nice little hotel, conveniently located. The rooms are sufficiently spacious by Paris standards. Furthermore, even in a single room you get a double bed which is rare in France. The staff is very welcoming. Would stay again.

Great location -- not touristy, and still within walking distance of amazing sights. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We especially liked the poster that listed all the events in the city for the current month. The bathroom was very clean, the water pressure was excellent, and the water was very hot. We could sleep in undisturbed, and our privacy was always respected. Would definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway!

Although our room was small, it was ideal for what we wanted it for; a place to rest while soaking up the sights of Paris. If you're staying for a quick over-nighter, or a short visit, and plan on spending most of your time enjoying the city of Paris, rather than spending all your cash on a hotel room, Hotel Austin's Arts et Metiers is ideal.

This hotel is great! Located metres from the metro, quiet and clean with good breakfasts(9E).At the edge of the Marais, near all the wholesalers if that's your bag, with bars and reataurants close by. the best thing was being able to be at Chatelet, go back to the hotel and change and be back at St Chappelle within 30 Minutes!

Austin's Arts et Metiers is an excellent 3-star hotel for location, cleanliness and service. All the guys at the desk were very nice and extremely helpful. Bathroom (for a 3-star) was beautiful and seemed new. I have recommended this hotel to others already. The only glitch was that the free wireless did not work very well in the bedrooms, only in the lobby, so I and other guests brought our own laptops to the room off the lobby. There is also a hotel machine there for anyone to use.

This hotel was OK. No A/C, which can be a problem in the Summer. If you get a room in the front of the hotel, very noisey. In the back, no noise, but an ugly view of an ugly wall. It is right next door to a Metro stop, but that is not uncommon in Paris. My first room the the 5th floor, I could not get the wireless signal, so I talked them into moving me into a room on the second floor (and that was harder then it should have been). It worked fine on the second floor. The guy who worked the desk in the day was kind of a jerk, but the guy who worked nights was nice. All the rooms have a full size bed, so even if you are only paying for a single, you get a bigger bed, which is not always the case in Europe. I had a friend crash on the floor the last night after we both had too much to drink, and the hotel noticed this, and charged for a double on the last night. Very low class. Overall, nothing great, but it worked. If you have other options, you might want to go with them.

Good value, although rooms are definitely on the small side. Nicely positioned right by Arts&Metiers, so very convenient for east central Paris and certainly walkable to the main sights and scenes of the Marais.

I chose this hotel becuase of the reviews. We weren't disapointed, its a lovely little place in a good location. It is expensive, but thats Paris, and everything was friendly, clean, comfortable and quiet, which is what we wanted. i would recommend it.

The room 44 in itself was OK, I could no practice Tai Chi but was quite large compared to other 3stars Hotel of Paris. The bathroom was spotless which is always nice. The carpet shall be changed , eventhough it was clean, it was tainted. WIFI connection was good. Metro station across the street. Breakfast OK. International clients (from Bresil!) along with french regular customers. The price paid was very close to the public rate so I lower the ratio quality vs price

The hotel was convenient to the metro and had several cafes and grocery stores in the area. The room was small and the TV channel in English had very low volume, but the bed was comfortable and clean, the place was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good location as just a couple of minutes from Metro, clean & cosy but not-so-friendly men at Reception but doesn't care. Can be recommended for short breakers who want to enjoy good food, arts and shopping with relaxed mood.

Hotel "Arts et Metiers" is located absolutely brilliant:close to everything, but in a quiet, little street.Hotel was as advertised. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our double room was clean and comfortable and although small was as expected for Paris. Comfortable walk to Centre Pompidou and right in front of the metro station arts et metiers(line 3 and 11).Free wifi connection and computer available in the lobby. Several nice resturants in the Marais' area.

A small, moderately priced and conveniently located hotel on a quiet street. The decor is nothing special, but attractive at the price. The desk staff were extremely helpful. I recommend an upper-floor room because of occasional Metro vibrations.

Nice, small hotel, our room (double but tiny and hard beds)was small but quiet. However even in our room on the 5th floor you could hear the tube a bit. At the reception desk they admitted that guests on the 1st + 2nd floor complain about that noice. Nice hotel but ask for a room on the 4rd or 5th floor. Breakfast is very good, breakfastlounge a bit small, you have to wait sometimes. In general:good value for money!
