The design of the hotel is chic and cute. It was very clean and close within 2 mins walk to metro. The hotel staff, especially Thomas, was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot. My only complaint is the noise in morning from the housekeeping.

It's the hotel I was especting. It's advisable to peoples who appreciate the quiete of the place. I have to relate that, for my responsibility because of missing checks at the right time, on my bill was charged two breakfasts ( one for me and one for my wife ) more than the days i remain in the hotel.

Charm, quite and nice small hotel. Good service offered by staff. Lovely common areas including book collection offered to clients. It has contributed to a great stay (and rest)in Paris (March 2009). I will really recomend to other travellers.

Would have been extremely quiet if it wasn't for the constant low buzz of a transformer noise throughout the hotel, so it was a bit of a challenge to get to sleep. The manager was aware of the noise and said it would be corrected. I liked the clean-cut, simple interior design, and the books on every floor. The room was pleasant and comfortable, but lacked an armchair and suitable lighting for reading. Breakfast was disappointing, but there are plenty of good cafés in the area. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back. However, I left my mobile phone battery charger on the table in the room and despite two phone calls over the following two days and two promises to check and call me back, nothing happened. Another minor disappointment with this hotel that otherwise has a lot going for it.

The hotel was very good. but there were few problems. We didn't find information on the net to check if the breakfast is included in the price or not. When we asked the reception about it, some said it's include and some not. IT'S NOT INCLUDE. Another thing: if you get your reservation trhu Venere - it's include TAX in the price, so don't let them charge you for TAX. Last thing: The clean lady doesn't put enough toilet paper and you need to go down and ask from the reception every time for more paper.

A pleasnt small hotel slightly off the beaten track, close to Monmartre but not overly accessible from transport nodes. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Arvor but it did not stand out from the many similar small hotels we have stayed in in all areas of Paris. Slightly quirky in design and furnishings and generally pleasant.

The website did not accurately portray the age of the hotel, rooms and facilities which were very much frayed around the edges. We were disappointed with the lack of facilities in the room.

Tranquiilo hotel in parigi; camera molto bella e spaziosa, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was more spacious than we expected and it was very clean. The bathroom was clean as well. The staff was helpful and spoke English very well. Don't try to find somewhere else for the breakfast, you can have a standard breakfast at the hotel. (of course not as good as Turkish one) The building is on a quiet street and very near to the Saint Georges metro station. We recommend this hotel. It is worth the price.

Hotel was in a upscale, quiet neighborhood. The hotel was excellent - clean, good staff, good free wi-fi. The metro stop only serves one line, so you need to change train more often. Also, our room wasn't ready until after 5, and during our stay I noticed many people in a similar fix. After the 12-hour flight from LAX, we would have appreciated more promptness. But overall, wonderful

We stayed in Paris for 3 days and came from Airport CDG. We took the RER and left at Gare du Nord and after a long compicated walk in the underground we came to Metro "La Chapelle" from where it was easy to go to St. Georges, the station which is near the hotel. (look at www.ratp.info for the plan). The hotel was just as it was desribed here and on the website. Nice foyer where we took breakfast (9 EUR each) and a room in the 4th floor with a view directly to Eiffel Tower. It looked to us that the room-pictures of the website are from the restaurated 1st and 2nd floor. But the older upper floors were also relatively pretty and we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very kind and communication in English (live and with email) was no problem. In the near surroundings are a few restaurants (leave metro at Notre-Dame de-Lorette and walk to the hotel) for dinner. With metro Nr. 12 you can go directly to Montmartre where you can also find nice restaurants (near Abbesses and Caulaincourt). Overall we enjoyed our holiday and the hotel very much and will definitely try to come back if we visit Paris again.

Do not book taxi through the front desk. I am not sure is it just the receptionist we had at that time, or all receptionists in this hotel would do the same trick. I asked the receptionist to book a taxi for us to go to the airport and was told that the taxi charge starts only when it leaves the hotel. But when I was checking out the hotel, the receptionist was very slow and also charged us wrongly (which is unlikely should be the case, as we got the inital quotation once we checked into the hotel). Then the taxi driver came in and sneakily gave the receptionist over ten euro (probably twelve or fifteen). Sure when I got on the taxi , the metre is at 20 plus euro charge. I went in and argued with the receptionist and taxi driver, forturnately another receptionist was back to work to assist us, and finally we are settled at 50 euro flat rate to airport. But indeed from this hotel to airport should cost about 30 TO 35 EURO. So this is how the 12-15 euro kickback came from. Our whole trip to Paris was fine and wonderful, but was spoiled by this last minute experience given by this receptionist.

We got a suite on the ground floor (the only room on ground floor), in spite of our reservation of a normal room, and still paid 90 euros - great! Very nice room, but we got a double bed instead of a twin bed. Because the room was without aircondition, we had to leave the windows open - and therefor we could hear the receptionist and the kitchen fairly loud. Great staff - and with a fridge and an aircondition it would have been perfect!

A very friendly and accommodating hotel. The staff were ultra helpful and available at all times. Convenient location, easy to reach tube minutes away. Quiet location, yet minutes away from the lively Monmartre area. Free Internet access. The only downside was the bathroom. Couldn't bring myself to have a bath as it was peeling! grotty but it was very clean. The triple room was a spacious suite and split into two rooms. Worth the money. The hotel is slowly being refurbished and the 2nd floor room below us was great. Lots of fab patisseries and restaurants. Loved the Mini Bus Restaurant a little expensive but tasty French food. Didn’t use breakfast option, as there's so many lovely cafes offering petit dejeuner in the area. Highly recommend Le Coquelicot in Abbesse. Good value.

We had a wonderful stay, great location, spacious rooms, perfect for our two families. The rooms (on 3rd and 4th floors) had not been decorated for awhile so they did not match the pictures on the web site. The map was a little unclear. We came out of the other exit from the metro and head off in the wrong direction. Other than that, we were very satisfied. Very quiet considering we were in the middle of Paris!

My three daughters and I stayed at the Arvor for four nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We booked a quadruple room, which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent, both friendly and helpful and the hotels atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful.Breakfast was copious and very good value. The hotel location is absolutely perfect for a quiet break and the Place de St. George has a beautiful atmosphere. Also the metro station was only 1 minute walk from the hotel which was ideal. The Arvor is situated very close to Sacre Ceour, and it's surrounding area in Monmarte is a haven of shops. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Arvor immensely and are already making plans for a return visit. I would rate the Arvor 10/10!!!
