Location - close to the station but not really to most of the tourist attractions. Great if you need to catch early/late train and have large luggage. Love the deco and furniture as well as the washing room facilities - very modern and well designed compared to some older Paris hotels with same price range. Shame that the external of the building was still under refurnishing, so looked a bit messy from outside. Had a little bit problem with the door key and couldn't pay by card as stated as technical probs. Staffs have been helpful though. Would be better if they could smile a bit more :) Overall nice stay.

Best Hotel in Paris and Pernety is a fantastic little suburb with everything you need. We have stayed 3 times and will always go back. The staff are friendly and extremely willing to assist and speak perfect english. The restaurants and cafes around this area are the best. It is 200m from the Pernety station and a short walk to Montparnasse

The metro is at walkable distance from the hotel. Get a week's pass to the metro at the airport. From the Airport take the Metro to Chatelet, get on line #4 to Montparnesse and change to line #13 to Purnety. Exit on the left after you get off the train. Once you exit the station, take a left and walk down. Apollon Montparness is at the next light on the opposite side of the road. It maybe hidden due to construction. There is a nice mom and pop pizza place. We are vegetarians. There is a grocery store nearby. Walk around to check where the closest grocery store is. We made our own sandwiches. You get plenty of veg. options at restaurants too.

The hotel was really close to the Montparnasse railway station, though the street is a little bit complicated to find. I would recommend people who travel to other cities using SNCF. The price was expensive for me,but the quality against price was fair I think.

Would recommend anyone to stay here. It is handy to trains, some top restaurants and is walking distance to everything. This was our second stay at thgis Hotel and if ever back in Paris would stay here again.

the hotel is in an excellent location and there are plenty of cafes and shops in teh area. It is an excellent base to walk into teh city, the cemetry at Monparnasse and Tour de Eiffel make a most pleasant way to head into the city (count on 90 mins for teh later). The hotel is clean, in spite of some major renovations taking place and conveniently situated, the staff very helpful and friendly. On the smallest of points, the wireless internet was not functioning in the rooms and the local price for booking the hotel was cheaper than through venere.com (but it was a convenient portal to use)

The room and bathroom are small but with a great laid out and charming decor making it very operational with two people. The rooms are also very clean with a great firm matras and a fantastic location from the TGV and also the bus for GDG. I would highly recomend this hotel to my friends and family.

Very friendly, helpful staff at this hotel. Very willing to help you with any enquiry or directions etc that you need. Made us very comfortable, offered us more room when available as rooms are quite small but the service and friendly atmosphere made up for the smaller rooms.

Even though the room was not very expensive it was much too small inlcuding the bath"room" and in a poor state. It definitely needs refurbishing/renovating!!! (except the bath room which was in a good state) Politeness of the staff varied individually...

NEVER STAY THERE! Terrible staff. The last day we paid 20 euros extra to stay until 7pm. Then we could spend the last day walking through Paris. When we arrived at the hotel at 5pm, our belongings were all spread through the bedroom, as somebody had tried to move them. Everything was messy so we called the police. The recepcionist of the hotel sad that he thought we had left the hotel despite the fact that we had paid extra to check out at 7pm. Besides that, he wanted to charge us because we used the shower! Yes, he sad that the extra money we paid didn't include the shower, but included only the stay of the suitcases until 7pm. Oh my God! The police had to convince the man that we could take shower since we had paid to stay in the room. Finally we could left the hotel under police escort. The bedrooms are micro, nano. The staff is extremely unpolite. The hotel is dirty. I don't recommend at all.

My Girlfriend and I stayed in Paris for a long weekend (ages 26&30) and we found the Apollon situated in an excellent position to travel around Paris from. We walked virtually everywhere and only used the tube situated 2mins walk (Pernety) to get to Moulin Rouge (which is well worth seeing). This is a great little holtel very clean with helpful staff. I would recommend it.

Although slightly away from the main areas, it was only a minute walk to the nearest underground station. Very clean and quiet rooms. Highly recommended.

Like most hotels in Europe the premises are over-heated. On the upside this allows drying of clothes overnight. Fortunately we were able to open windows. Twin room extremely small but the bathroom was excellent. Cute breakfast area & good coffee. Access to Metro excellent and slightly removed from tourist hustle & bustle, but great Parisian ambience.

We enjoyed an excellent stay here! Originally booked a triple room for 3 adults and upon arrival the hotel staff asked if we prefered a single and double room for the same price. This was very appreciated. Small hotel rooms are immaculate and a nice change after other european stays. Little fridge in the room was great as well. Right next to a great bakery and grocery store. Free internet downstairs was a big bonus. We will be returning on our next trip to Paris - without a doubt! One word of caution - when arriving do NOT get off at the Montparnasse tube station and walk the "3 minutes" to the hotel as noted on this site. This is BS and we ended up hauling our heavy luggage for about 45 minutes to find the place. Go to the pernety tube station - it's 1/2 a block away.

This was a great little budget gem in Paris. Friendly, helpful English-speaking staff and a great location within a block of a metro stop and close to bakeries, shops and cafes. Free internet point in the lobby was also appreciated, as was the cleanliness of the rooms. They are small, but great for the price in Paris!

Was a great area of Paris to be in and great value for the area. The room was very small so suited to short stays (we were there just one night). Great area to experience real Paris ie Patisaries, deli's, cheese shops etc all 2 secs down the road. Great bars and reasonable prices (compared to the rest of Paris) is a little bit studenty in the bars but great atmosphere is general.

Stay here, it's great for a major city hotel; rooms are small but immaculate; perfect location - everything I wanted. The hotel location is perfect, Metro stop 2 mins walk which allows access via Montparnasse station to the city. I had been several times before, but this was by far the best trip, helped in no small way by the hotel.

Paris was our last stop on a 3-week backpacking tour of Europe. We found the staff to be welcoming, friendly & knowlegable. The quality and atmosphere for the price for big European cities was exceptional compared to other places we experienced. The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower was comparatively spacious and functional and the mattress was by far the best one we found. It's a little off the beaten path, but close to metro and we really enjoyed the family atmosphere of the neighbourhood. We are not seasoned travellers by any stretch of the imagination, but based on our experience we would recommend the Hotel Apollon Montparnasse to travellers looking for comfort & value.

Pleasant hotel on a quiet street near to good boutiques and typically Parisien cafes, convenient for the metro too. Within walking distance of the Latin Quarter (about 1/2 mile)and the Seine/Isle de la cite (about 1 mile). Helpful staff and a comfortable room made this a relaxing and enjoyable visit to paris.

On our arrival after 10 h driving, we were given our room very late. The triple room was a narrow double where a 3rd bed was added on, thus reducing further the space. Besides that, the staff was serviceable. WIFI in the reception area available.Excellent the underfloor parking for our car, at 12 Eur per day.

We are a married couple at the age of 46, and this was the first time we visited Hotel Apollon Montparnasse. The hotel is located about a 10 minutes walking from Gare Montparnasse, and 50 meters from the metrostation Pernety. A very nice and clean hotel which we can recommend to other visitors.
