Great location, great hotel. I really like the interior design of the room we stayed, especially the colours. I had a little problem with my phone connecting to wifi but I think our room was end of the hallway so that is probably why. Overall I really like the hotel.

The hotel is nice and located very near metro station making getting around very easy. The hotel desk staff was horrible, except for when we first checked in they never again greeted us while coming or going from the hotel. One night while trying to get a wake up call we had to call the front desk over 5 times, one of the times a customer actually answered the phone and said no staff was around. Also when requesting a van to take us back to the airport, I was told no problem. When we got down in the morning with our 8 bags and 4 people to go to the airport, there was a small compact cab there to take us. When I told the person on duty that I specifically requested a van to take us he said "I can call a second car, but I can't cancel this one you have to pay for it." When I got upset and said there was no way I was paying for something I didn't request, he finally with attitude called a van for me. I will never stay in this hotel again, and if you want friendly service I would recommend anyone traveling to Paris choose another hotel.

Reception did not have us in their reservation list so after going through all the details i gave them about venere reservation numbers, dates etc... and 15 minutes later we were given a room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we were upgraded to a better room as we were told. From the room photos and being upgraded i expected the room to be a bit bigger, but apart from that everything was more than perfect, and the size compared to the Paris standards is cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was overpriced so we ate outside. The prices for food and drinks in the bar could be more acceptable but anyway it definitely will be my choice for visiting Paris privately.

Very helpful friendly staff. Reasonable Room size. Location is very good -- very nice residential area with a number of restaurants nearby...not hard to take metro to middle of tourist areas. interior garden is very nice to sit in with a glass of wine in afternoon. Would definately stay here again when in Paris.

My husband and I spent 3 days in Paris after travelling on Queen Elizabeth for 24 days. We found the Hotel Ampere very tastefully decorated. The Hotel staff were most helpful, especially the night watchman who was excellent at getting me logged on to the internet at 5am 2 days running! Good selection of cafes nearby plus underground station and outer metropolitan train (needed to travel to Versailles)at bottom of the street. Also walked to Arc de Triomphe and surrounds.

Travelling with my Lady, everything has been confortable at the hotel, very kind welcoming, great overall hotel staff. The room was perfect, enough space, a good bathroom (no shower, only bathtub) and a separate wc room. Electric window shutters,a good inroom fridge, and a pleasurable hotel hall, bar and side-gardens. Everything at 300 mt from the metro stop Pereire. Don't miss the patisserie on the "Petrus" road !

We really enjoyed our stay in the Ampere. It's a lovely hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is located in a nice part of Paris within easy walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe but away from the very busy tourist hotspots. There are lots of nice cafes and restuarants in the area. We used a taxi to get to and from CDG Airport which cost average €50 each way.

Located in a beautiful and less crowded part of Paris this hotel was perfect with local restaurants & cafes a minute away or centre of Paris just a few stops on the metro. Booking early with Venere gave a really good value 4* hotel in a city that can be difficult to find such hotels.

It was our first trip to Paris. My wife and I enjoyed staying at the hotel. Good friendly staff and nice rooms. Nice place and nice hotel..just next to the train station and loads of nice cafes. With €158.00/night for double room and without any breakfast I think its not fair. There was no complimentary tea or coffe in the room either.

First time visitor to the Hotel Ampere. My girlfriend and I came for a 3-night stay in Paris. The front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. On arrival they gave us a map and pointed out some interesting areas to go. Upon leaving, they booked us a cab in advance, and helped us with our luggage to the car. Very helpful and respectful staff. The hotel is beautiful, and overall a good value. Hotels in Paris are expensive, but for the price this hotel is a good bet. Public spaces are gorgeous, the hotel smells nice, and the breakfast is tasty (although a little pricey). Our room was decorated very well, and the bed was so comfortable. Our three nights in Paris were the best sleep we got out of our three-city trip to Europe. Amazing! Even while sleeping in quite late the first day, we were never interrupted by noise from cleaning staff or other guests. The neighborhood is really nice. A little bit out of the center of the city, but very close to the Metro, which is very efficient and affordable. There are several restaurants and brasseries just a block away near the Pereire Metro stop. Overall, this is a great hotel. A bit on the pricey side, but I think that's just Paris. I would return gladly.
