Very essential, not a very warm welcome. The room was nice. The bathroom was very tiny and cold, there was nowhere to hang one's clothes and put your stuff; we couldn't figure out how to turn on the heating and it was a bit chilly in the morning. And most important, it was a clean place! We had one stained towel, but the maid changed it. The wi-fi connection didn't work in the room, but I didn't have time to try it in the lobby. The hotel position is excellent, and after all, we just went there to sleep.

The room was very clean and spacious, was near of the Eiffel Tower like 15 minutes, and has two subway stations very close...the problem for me is that is too far of everything, is only near of the Tower, you can hear the others guests waking upstairs, if anybody close the door or open it in the building you can hear it...and they clean everyday, but if the person who has too clean is walking by your door she knock your door because yo have to go out of the room because she has to clean and she can wait till you go out.

The room is clean and confortable but not very spacious. The staff is polite but not particularly talkative. A nice cat is rambling in the hall so you'll find a lot of hairs spread around. It's close to metro connections.

Compared with the price I expected a much bigger room. It was like a small closet. We stayed in Rome two weeks ago and had a cheaper room, twice the size of the one we stayed in in Paris. Breakfast 'room' works as 3 in 1 hallway/dinning room/kitchen and it's right next to the reception (not even seperated by a wall or anything). I don't think we'll stay there again.

Fully satisfied for the purpose I needed - to stay one night in Paris with free internet access in the room. And it is quite close to metro, though not exactly as close as the map shows, check the address on mapquest or googlemaps before you go.

Having been to Paris numerous times, we found this hotel to be central and very clean bathroom. As we were out all day, that's all we needed. Also, good quality/price factor. Don't be fooled by the outdated decor. I went on to recommend to a couple of my colleagues, who both returned satisfied.

Needs new carpets and a lick of paint here and there wouldn't go amiss. However the staff are excellent (very friendly and accommodating). Overall very enjoyable stay. Good value for money. I will have no difficulty recommending it to others.

I think the questions in this formulary are very complete. I liked very much the hotel, it was beautiful, the room, the breakfast, the cleaning, etc. I enjoyed very much the hotel and the city. It was the second time i visited Paris. Paris is the best and the nicest city in the world. I would like come back for my honeymoon! THANKS FOR ALL

The location is fantastic! The metro station, Emile Zola on line 10, is just around the corner (30 metres). There is also another one a bit further away in the other direction. The area is full of boulangeries, cafés and restaurants. There's also a supermarket and a McDonald's nearby. Also, the Eiffel Tower is within walking distance, perhaps a 10-15 minute stroll. The staff at Le Fondary Hotel were very helpful and courteous. My room (401) was very clean, as was the ensuite bathroom, although the pillows were as flat as pancakes. However, I did walk past another room on a lower floor, which seemed quite a bit smaller and not nearly as clean - maybe I was lucky. There is a lift that works well. I cannot comment on the breakfast, which was not included in the price, because I preferred to eat at the various boulangerie located on the same street. Overall, a great place. I recommend it, and would stay there again. FJM

I did not enjoy this hotel at all. We were traveling with our dog, a Boxer, and had notified the hotel of this prior to arrival. When we arrived the hotel reception clerk said we could not stay there because they only allow small dogs. I showed him the printout that said pets were allowed and that I had notified them prior that we would be traveling with our dog. After some arguing, he finally said it was ok but if our dog caused any damage it would be our responsibility. Some of the photos were not even from the property. The wallpaper was pealing from the walls in the hallway. They also had us pay upfront since we booked through venere.com, which I had never had happen before. It was close to the Eiffel Tower, but after reviewing where things are located in Paris, I would have chosen something closer to the Louvre museum which is closer to the majority of the sights in Paris. I would definitely return to Paris, but would never stay at this hotel again.

Pretty good location, just a five minute walk to the Eiffle tower. The staff all spoke English and were quite helpful. Probably a little rough around the edges for many travelers, but we did have our own restroom/shower.
