Hotel staff very helpful, friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again(maybe take a kettle next time. Convenient city centre location. If you've never been to Paris before be aware that hotel rooms are small in this area, and like other city centres, there are homeless sleeping on the street nearby.

Breakfast is expensive and poor. It is better to have a breakfast in one of the many good bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are very small, but the bed is big enough and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent access to the public transport.

Ok hotel, everything was there. Clean but needs some freshening up. Nice and helpful staff. Ok location. Easy to get anywhere. Breakfast was a little weak and the breakfast room was very small. 3 star? Just about. Ok for a short stay.

Very good relationship between price and quality! It is also very close to Gare de l' Est metro station. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the rooms, despite the fact that are small, are comfortable. I would recommend it to any single traveller or couple!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was old with a couple of stains on the carpet but it was clean. Given the price, it was reasonably spacious and an en-suite is nice. There was cable TV and WiFi at E5 per 24 hours. The room was quiet (5th floor) and there was a lift. Not high class - but good value for money.

The service is ok, yet the facility is not so good. roon is small, location is ok, yet the building is under-decoration. and the lift is so terrible, slow and small. reception is fine. thanks

The hotel is located near the Gare d'Est and fits its locality very well. It is close to the metro and therefore you have all the access you need to travel round Paris. The staff were excellent;I even waited when I was leaving just to say goodbye. It's worth a visit but don't expect anything luxurious.

Nice hotel, simple but o.k.. 5 min to walk to Gare de l'Est, 3 min to Metro.

The lift wasn't working but we were put in a 1st floor room(as we are in the older age bracket) and the receptionist offered to help me with my bag. Found the receptionist very helpful in giving us directions. A range of pamphlets was available at reception. We arrived early and bags were stored until checkin. Handy position to Gare Est and Metro and not far from Gare Nord.

Very small rooms, especially for the price. Can easily stumble over things in the cramped space. Elevator was tiny and felt unsafe. Receptionist was business like, not friendly. Bathrooms are very very small. Barely enough space to stand up straight. Thankfully the room and hotel in general was reasonably clean. The hotel is a minutes walk to the metro and main line station Gare De L'Est so that was a huge plus. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity, so location wise a good choice. A decent choice if you are on a budget else avoidable.

The picture of the exterior of the hotel is misleading and the outlook was a far outcry from what is shown in the picture. You can not make any changes after arrival as unlike other hotels where credit card information is taken only during checkin, the card was charged upfront (to ensure that you cant leave). The rooms are not soundproof at all. Hotel staff was friendly though. The locality is dingy (not safe) and I would not recommend the area for single travelers. Most of the amenities mentioned on the website were missing in the hotel. I won't recommend it.

This was the worst 3 star hotel we have ever stayed. the room was very small. the corridors were very narrow. you can not turn in the shower. you can hear the customers "fart" in the toilet in the neighbouring room. Our birthday celebration in paris was a disaster. Everything was perfect in paris except the hotel choice. There were other 3 star hotels for 60€, but i chose this hotel having expectetions to get a little bit better service. The breakfast was another disaster. We payed 3 days breakfast cost in advance. the breakfast room was in the cellar. there were no windows in breakfast room. It was a shame choosing this hotel.

My friends and I had a most enjoyable long weekend at this hotel (there were 5 of us). The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were spotless. The only drawback is the the noise of the traffic, especially over the weekend, but we were so tired after exploring Paris it did not matter. We all recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located very near to gare du Nord, as well as gard d'est.Which is very helpful to have 2 of the main stations so close to the hotel. Easy walk to/from either stations. The hotel staff is very friendly, and more than willing to accomodate just bout any request. For one example we had to leave early in the morning, before the breakfast was to begin..the gentleman on duty still provided us with some danishes, along with brewing some fresh coffe as well as a latte. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area. The rooms are pretty small, but the value is very nice for location and friendliness of the staff.

The photographs are wery good, and the hotel is nice outside. But the room, what we get was quite small. As like a bigger bed. There wasn't normal wardrobe. The bath was good, and enough spaciousness. The staff were friendly, and the public areas is good. The price wasn't too high, i have to say it's ok, but i think it wasn' a three stars hotel quality.

This was a very mediocre place. the rooms were clean, the staff were helpful, breakfast was not included in the price, the rooms were quiet once the window was closed, but if the window was open it was quite noisy, the aera isnt very nice, quite run down, but it is very close to gard du nord and gare d'est making it ideal for exploring the city using the metro.im not sure if i would stay here again. while the place itsself was fine, the aera its in is not.

A clean hotel offering good value. Staff were very nice and the location was close to the rail and underground system. Room comfort would greatly improve with air conditioning. It was good value and very clean. We will happily go again.

Enfim, quando eu for novamente a Paris, vou tentar ficar novamente nesse hotel.

Very very good location, very close to main metro station with links to airport. Rooms arent anywhere near soundproof so it shouldnt state they are!! But you get what you pay for, its very clean and everything you need for a short stay in a convenient place.

I think this is a nice hotel, located next to a train, bus and metro station, giving you access (in a short time) to the major attractions in Paris. The staff was excelent, and I had a really great time there.

Clean hotel and very close to Gare de L'Est train station. Our room was extremely small and very noisy. Approximate room cost was $100 USD per night. Not a bad place to stay overnight if you need to catch an early morning train.

Everything in paris is expensive so you get what you pay for. my only real complaint was that i believe on veneres website Alane hotel states that the rooms are soundproof. what a joke. you hear everthing and then some. bring your earplugs. it wouldnt have been bad if they hadnt stated sound proof rooms on the website.

Handy to main stations, friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and ensuite but badly stained carpets need replacing and in general could do with redecoration. Overall suitable for a couple of nights affordable accommodation in a central location. Would stay here again.

Excellent in terms of cleanliness, prices and location. Staff is welcoming. I haven't tried their breakfast (6 .5 euros for each), but sure you will have lots of choices to have a good breakfast around the area with this budget!
