I had a nice stay here, and the staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. The only minus was that the wifi didn't work well. The rooms do have thin walls, but I did not have noisy neighbours. I was not bothered by outside noise at all (windows closed), and did not use the elevator since I was on the second floor. I did not find the stairs to be difficult at all...! Location is great, and I can absolutely recommend this as a good budget option.

The room was very small, but with the rather large bathroom and facilities provided it was quite nice. The large bathroom made the room feel larger and spacious than it was. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The staff was quite prompt and on top of the wake up call which was very important. The view from the two large windows/balcony was nice. It was right off the metro line, easy to get to plus it allowed for easy access to everything you needed to do in Paris ie. shopping, sight seeing and general wandering around.

The staff were extremely helpful in an emergency situation I happened to have to solve quickly. Besides, they gave me all the information I requested as a foreign tourist. The room was not spacious, but there was everything I could possibly need in it. I was travelling on my own and I got a tiny double room. The location is unbeatable, but the area gets noisy and crowded at night.

I will recommend the hotel to mention that when you go out of Chatellet des Halles the exit to Rue P.S. Lescot is the best, as you can see the hotel from this place.

The only reasons to choose this hotel are: - location very close to Chatellet les Halles the main metro station in Paris with direct connections to the airports. - Acceptable costs and free wifi connection in the room. Cleanliness, Quietness and spaciousness of rooms are very poor.

Agora is a “petite”, but very cosy and charming hotel with an excellent location in the city centre. Our room was quite small, with two beds (very comfortable) one chair, one table and a small chest of drawers – but very clean and tidy. The bathroom, however, was spacious and, of course also, clean. The staff was very obliging and all our requests were met with a "no problem". Breakfasts are served either in the hotel rooms or the small hotel lobby. We had ours in the lobby since we don’t want to have it in our beds. The continental breakfast served is good, but we would have liked some cheese, ham or sausage to put on the bread as a complement to the jam and honey served. On the whole, Hotel Agora proved to be very good value for money. It suited us and our five-night stay perfectly!

My daughter Veslemøy Larsen should have stayed at the Hotel Agora for 26 days, during her study at Sorbonne. Our friends from Paris told her when arriving, that the area (surroundings) of the hotel was not safe for her, so she stayed at their home from 6th july . She stayed one night at the hotel and paid for 2 nights (checking out after 12.00) and we apreciate that service from the hotel. regards G.R. Larsen

I had to ask for clean towels because my "clean" towels had orange stains on them. The single room is really claustrophobic, probably less than 9 square meters toilet INCLUDED. The wi-fi connection was worse than a 56k connection - I.E. I couldn't be able to use MSN messenger Definittely too expensive for the services.

The property is inaccessible by car because the street is permanently blocked to allow residents to move freely, so you must walk about a block with your luggage. You must then take your luggage up a flight of narrow stairs to get to registration. The hotel clerk was friendly and accommodating and could speak English. From the second floor, you can either take your luggage up more stairs or take the smallest lift that cannot really accommodate luggage up to your room. The room was ridiculously small compared to photos we saw and the room that we stayed in was falling apart. To say it in a nutshell, no way in hell I'd ever stay here again.

Was here on a business trip. This is a no-frills hotel (at least in the cheapest rooms) but everything you really need is there. The staff was friendly and helpful when necessary, and spoke English. The lobby is on the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America), and there is no elevator service there. (You get the elevator in the lobby.) If you aren't ready to carry your luggage up narrow, twisty stairs, you will have to find another hotel, I'm afraid. One minor problem: I had a little trouble getting reliable Wi-Fi service on the 6th floor, and had to go down to the breakfast room at one point. However, I also got the Hotel's Wi-Fi in the Cafe across the street for a while, which was convenient.

The lift started from the 1st floor and was really small. Only one person with its baggage. However the place of the hotel is perfect!!There are a lot of cafe and brasseries around where you can have breakfast, lunch or whatever.

Enjoyed very much my 4 night stay at Agora. Very clean, safe, friendly. Not so quiet because of rumor at night from the pedestrian street bellow. I specially like to stay in high levels which is a must in this hotel.because of possible outside noise.. I stayed on the last 6th floor and it was very good. Very small new lift helped transport my luggage up. Shower is TOO small. Kept thinking how bigger people manage to shower,,,I even had great glimpses of the blue sky, Notre Dame and Centre George Pompidou. There is a 10 euro offer for breakfast every morning which I missed. I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel AGORA and would definetly stay there again.

little nice hotel located in a pedestrian zone, 2 minutes away from different metro stations (perfect). Very good connection to the airports. The room was very small, but cute and enough space for sleeping only. The hotel seems to be a bit dusty, because of all the old stuff standing around everywhere, but anyhow this has atmosphere. Breakfast you can get everywhere around the hotel or just picking up sth. at the bakery. A shopping mall and a park are 2 minutes away from the hotel. To the Louvre you walk in 10 minutes. It is a perfect stay just for sleeping and getting to the touristic points via metro very fast.

The hotel met our needs (central location, cheap, clean, wi-fi) but did not exceed them (small rooms incl. shower). Had we stayed longer we would probably not have chosen this hotel. This is a decent choice for a room/bed but not much more. Plenty to do in the immediate area and excellent metro connections.

Very small room (just enough to fit in a bed and some kind of wardrobe) just below the room with nice view to Chatelet (left) and Centre Pompidou (right). Just right for only sleeping there. Perfect location as Centre Pompidou / IRCAM is within 5 minutes walking distance. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are all around the area - so I booked without breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Price is reasonable for Paris.

The lift in the hotel is the smallest I have seen. I was on the 6th floor so the lift was a necessity. The hall lighting is timed. Did not have breakfast in the Hotel, as the breakfast on offer is very basic. The hotel is ideal for Notre Dame/Louvre.

Tiny but comfortable room (double), incredibly quiet when windows are closed, really surprising considering the bustle down the street! Unbeatable location if you like it central. Extremely tiny elevator, and you need to climb up a few steep stairs to get from the street to the front desk. Expensive breakfast (10€) not included, but there are plenty of bars around to get a cheaper croissant. I would happily go back to the place.

This place was horrible! We traveled 4,000 miles to be told late at night that they could not locate our reservation. Then the guy tells us that he luckily has one room available, but we would need to change the room the next day. Oh, the dark hallways and one person elevator was a nice touch. My wife and I did not feel comfortable sleeping in this place so we found another hotel at 1am, but the hotel attendant charged us for the night. 128 euro - It wasn't worth $30!! Stay far away from this place!!!
