We had a very nice room. Close to lots of exterior café and to one of the largest metro station to get you anywhere in Paris. Would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Was very centrally located and next to metro entrance. On busy neighborhood street so heard noise all night. No air conditioning.

My daughter Veslemøy Larsen should have stayed at the Hotel Agora for 26 days, during her study at Sorbonne. Our friends from Paris told her when arriving, that the area (surroundings) of the hotel was not safe for her, so she stayed at their home from 6th july . She stayed one night at the hotel and paid for 2 nights (checking out after 12.00) and we apreciate that service from the hotel. regards G.R. Larsen

The hotel has small but perfectly clean rooms, the staff is very friendly. Excellent location for sightseeing in Paris: RER station only a few meters from the hotel; Nôtre Dame, Louvre etc. in walking distance. Lots of restaurants, cafés in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

I had to ask for clean towels because my "clean" towels had orange stains on them. The single room is really claustrophobic, probably less than 9 square meters toilet INCLUDED. The wi-fi connection was worse than a 56k connection - I.E. I couldn't be able to use MSN messenger Definittely too expensive for the services.

The property is inaccessible by car because the street is permanently blocked to allow residents to move freely, so you must walk about a block with your luggage. You must then take your luggage up a flight of narrow stairs to get to registration. The hotel clerk was friendly and accommodating and could speak English. From the second floor, you can either take your luggage up more stairs or take the smallest lift that cannot really accommodate luggage up to your room. The room was ridiculously small compared to photos we saw and the room that we stayed in was falling apart. To say it in a nutshell, no way in hell I'd ever stay here again.

Was here on a business trip. This is a no-frills hotel (at least in the cheapest rooms) but everything you really need is there. The staff was friendly and helpful when necessary, and spoke English. The lobby is on the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America), and there is no elevator service there. (You get the elevator in the lobby.) If you aren't ready to carry your luggage up narrow, twisty stairs, you will have to find another hotel, I'm afraid. One minor problem: I had a little trouble getting reliable Wi-Fi service on the 6th floor, and had to go down to the breakfast room at one point. However, I also got the Hotel's Wi-Fi in the Cafe across the street for a while, which was convenient.

the room and the bathroom were the smallest i've ever been...we had to carry the baggages from ground floor to the reception which was on first floor,by scales. The lift started from the 1st floor and was really small. Only one person with its baggage. However the place of the hotel is perfect!!There are a lot of cafe and brasseries around where you can have breakfast, lunch or whatever. Its very close to the centre Bombidou and to the metro station "les Halles". Its a very good choice for someone who wants to visit Paris and not to stay on the Hotel.

Excellent location for touring Paris. Room was tiny, and its elegance is somewhat faded, but room was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful for those of us with limited French. Great view from the balcony too!

I stayed in hotel several time, for me the most important is location - really few steps from RER (the line B - both airports and exhibition area on it) and surrounding (pedonal zone). And now, finally I receive big (for Paris) room!! Ask for nr. 41 :-))

i would definately stay in this hotel again and would be quick to recommend it to a friend. its ideal for the traveller that is looking for a clean, respectable base from which to enjoy paris. the location of the hotel was particularly appealing, it is literally 2mins walk from the shopping centre forrum des halles under which is a metro station and rer station. the rer station was handy because it connects you straight to charles de galle airport and to disneyland.

i am not recomend this hotel at all. i was so disgussed about the size of the room and the carpet. also, wardrobe was hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrible!!! i can't believe people actually charging for that room! and this hotel, you cannot access after 2am! they lock the door.! there is no point to stay in this hotel if you are expecting to go out for clubbing or else! This hotel was horriblest hotel ever in my life!!

Location is great in a no-car area but very close to the main road with plenty of parking spaces in the underground car park (EUR25/day). Ask for room 26 and you will get a nice corner room with a long corner balcony.

Enjoyed very much my 4 night stay at Agora. Very clean, safe, friendly. Not so quiet because of rumor at night from the pedestrian street bellow. I specially like to stay in high levels which is a must in this hotel.because of possible outside noise.. I stayed on the last 6th floor and it was very good. Very small new lift helped transport my luggage up. Shower is TOO small. Kept thinking how bigger people manage to shower,,,I even had great glimpses of the blue sky, Notre Dame and Centre George Pompidou. There is a 10 euro offer for breakfast every morning which I missed. I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel AGORA and would definetly stay there again.

little nice hotel located in a pedestrian zone, 2 minutes away from different metro stations (perfect). Very good connection to the airports. The room was very small, but cute and enough space for sleeping only. The hotel seems to be a bit dusty, because of all the old stuff standing around everywhere, but anyhow this has atmosphere. Breakfast you can get everywhere around the hotel or just picking up sth. at the bakery. A shopping mall and a park are 2 minutes away from the hotel. To the Louvre you walk in 10 minutes. It is a perfect stay just for sleeping and getting to the touristic points via metro very fast.

The hotel met our needs (central location, cheap, clean, wi-fi) but did not exceed them (small rooms incl. shower). Had we stayed longer we would probably not have chosen this hotel. This is a decent choice for a room/bed but not much more. Plenty to do in the immediate area and excellent metro connections.

Very small room (just enough to fit in a bed and some kind of wardrobe) just below the room with nice view to Chatelet (left) and Centre Pompidou (right). Just right for only sleeping there. Perfect location as Centre Pompidou / IRCAM is within 5 minutes walking distance. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are all around the area - so I booked without breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Price is reasonable for Paris.

The lift in the hotel is the smallest I have seen. I was on the 6th floor so the lift was a necessity. The hall lighting is timed. Did not have breakfast in the Hotel, as the breakfast on offer is very basic. The hotel is ideal for Notre Dame/Louvre.

The rooms are tiny (not enough room to even raise your arms in the shower cubicle) but if all you want is a room with a bed right in the centre of Paris, it's perfect.

Chambre petite, salle de bain minuscule. Impossible de se bouger dans la douche car beaucoup trop petite. Petit déjeuner réduit au minimum. Très bien situé au centre de Paris. Economique pour la situation

Tiny but comfortable room (double), incredibly quiet when windows are closed, really surprising considering the bustle down the street! Unbeatable location if you like it central. Extremely tiny elevator, and you need to climb up a few steep stairs to get from the street to the front desk. Expensive breakfast (10€) not included, but there are plenty of bars around to get a cheaper croissant. I would happily go back to the place.

I think the employees are not helpfull..I arrived at hotel with my heavy suitcase and NOBODY held me ( I had two kids with me) My welcome to the Hotel was made by the owner of hotel discussing with another customers or employees????? Every morning had a discussion between the owner and employees in the reception....The only thing i liked was really the localization so i enjoyed anyway.. I would come back to stay at AGORA HOTEL because of the localization and thats all

This place was horrible! We traveled 4,000 miles to be told late at night that they could not locate our reservation. Then the guy tells us that he luckily has one room available, but we would need to change the room the next day. Oh, the dark hallways and one person elevator was a nice touch. My wife and I did not feel comfortable sleeping in this place so we found another hotel at 1am, but the hotel attendant charged us for the night. 128 euro - It wasn't worth $30!! Stay far away from this place!!!

Hotel has a great location. Direkt line to airport, most major subways are 1 min. walk away. Walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame and Pompidu. The streats around are filled with shops and cafes, no problem to get a deasand budget meal. Roooms are small but clean. Starway very narrow, same as the lift. Great hotel for exploring Paris and for more budget travalers.

Coparing EUR 104 / night we paid, the service we received was nothing. Also room was very small impossible to move for 2 person. Elevator was so small just for 1 person. Furniture seems to be very old and dirty. Some bug holes on the wood staff. Last but not least, although I made the payment via credit card provision taken 1 month ago still shown in my credit card reciept?
