We were in room 62 and had an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower and Pantheon - I was thrilled! The room was small but not as small as I'd expected with a very comfortable bed. There was a good amount of noise and we couldnt get wifi to work. Breakfast was better than expected and staff very accomodating. Is a bit far from any of the touristy locations but the proximity to metro makes it a decent location. Overall, a great place to stay and I would recommend it!

I was traveling with my cousin and I had indicated when I made the reservation that there would be 2 people. I was expecting 2 separate twin beds. However, we got 1 bed and had to share. We brought this matter to the attention of the front desk personnel, but nothing was done to correct the situation.

I stayed one night. The room I had on the 6th floor was tiny, with quite literally just about enough space for a double bed. Also, it was too hot to sleep with the window closed but too noisy to sleep with the window open. I think I managed to get about 4 hours sleep. The Wi-Fi wasn't free and didn't work. Since I requested a room with good Wi-Fi reception, this was a little disappointing. However, after buying a card for the Internet in the lobby, I got 60 minutes for 8 EUR. (I then discovered that you can simply press Ctrl+N on the terminal to bring up a new Internet Explorer browser window free of charge!)

The room that I stayed in was rather small, even by European standards. The hotel (and the room I was in) face the busy Boulevard Saint Marcel, which is noisy day and (well into the) night. It was hard to sleep without earplugs, even though the windows are double glazed! The breakfast buffet at 10 EUR is an OK deal, but it is much cheaper to eat from the patisserie across the street from the hotel.

We were on our honeymoon, so nothing really phased us much. We were in Paris afterall. At first, we didn't think too highly of it because the fron of the building was under construction and we thought there would be a lot of noise. As it turned out, we were never in the room when the construction was taking place (10am-5pm). We had a couple of issues with the hot water, but with a bit of patience, everything turned out fine. When we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, we got upgraded to a superior room (slightly bigger and had a bathtub instead of just a shower stall) and a 1/2 L bottle of champagne. Breakfast is not the most affordable, but there are plenty of other places around, including a bakery across the street.

Due to transport delays we arrived very late but we had rung to inform them. at reception we got a warm and sympathetic welcome and they had noted our call. Breakfast was excellent and very kindly free as we had only spent 7 hours in the hotel ! We will definitely use this hotel whenever we need to use Paris Austerlitz station.

I was surprised at how small the rooms were (but friends told me that in general, Paris hotel rooms are small). Although this was a surprise, and a little bit inconvenient, I was still very happy with my hotel room. The service was excellent overall, but the people at the desk sometimes didn't seem to know enough about the restaurants close to the hotel - I would have expected them to have very good knowledge of this (for example, if I ask "Is the sushi restaurant down the street very good" I'd expect a person to know roughly whether it was or not, even if they've never been there.
