Excellent location, the hotel is on a small, quiet street not far from Tour Eiffel and Champs Elysse. The street had some small shops and cafe´s, and every day there was a market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. The hotel was as expected for the price, very small room but clean. We walked 20 minutes to the busstop which took us to Beauvais.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Excellent location just 5 minutes from the arche de triomphe. Rooms very small (as usual in Paris...)and rather noisy (you hear your neighbours well) Bed too soft for us. Breakfast very expensive (there are lots of good cafes and bistrots in the surroundings). I would stay again.

The hotel suited our needs for our short 4 day stay in Paris as it was well - located , within easy walking distance of 2 metro stations and a major avenue with plenty of shopping facilities , cafes and bistrots .However , the street on which it is situated is realtively quiet and we really enjoyed walking through the local street market on the way to the metro each morning. The proprietor of the hotel was friendly and helpful . The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment works while we were there so the public areas were rather resticted and unappealing as a result . I'm sure the reception and breakfast area will be greatly improved when these are complete . The room itself was disappointing as we were very cramped - there was barely room for our luggage and the cupboard door would not open fully because of its proximity to the bed ! The TV took up half of the desk space and although my husband requested a desk lamp to enable him to do some work he had to finish , none was forthcoming . The room was rather dark even in the day as it looked out into the courtyard well . However , we did note that the rooms at the front were lighter and sunnier so it would be worth requesting one of these . The bathroom was fine - very clean , with decent tiling and a good shower . There was adequate space there for our needs . The hotel is basic but very clean and more pleasantly furnished than many I have experienced in the 2 * price range. If you are just looking for a place to sleep it's absolutely fine !

Our overall stay at the property was fine. On arrival and trying to speak my finest French, I asked if the concierge spoke English I copped a bit of attititude but it was short lived (I think when he found we were Australian and not English?). We then found him to be extremely helpful and courteous. The only thing I would recommend against is the breakfast. We found it to be a rip off. 9 Euro for a baguette, a croissant, a coffee/tea and some jam. Too much.

Quiet, clean, old bathroom; near to a metro station. Good.

The price charged for the breakfast at euro 9 per person is excessive for what is offered ie 0ne Croissant, a third of a bagette, orange juice and coffee.

Very good choice. Not luxurious and not built yesterday, but it was everything it promised to be. Very friendly staff, no problems with anything. Faces a quiet backstreet within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe.

Pleasant and efficient staff; very comfortable room and clean bathroom. Reception very helpful: Stored luggage until room was ready and happy to ring for early morning taxi to get to Bus station to connect with early Ryanair flight from Beauvais.

Decent place to stay the night. Close to the metro. The street outside with all the vendors during the daytime is amazing. Don't stay at this place if you are looking for glamour. Stay at this place if you need a clean, comfortable, reasonable place to stay which is close to a very happening place in Paris.
