Color Design Hotel - Paris

Clean, quite and a nice surprise for a small Paris Hotel! I would diffidently recommend this hotel to friends. A little walk to the Bastille Metro, but lots of cafe's along the way. It's just far enough of the beaten path to be quite.

Perfect, clean and new. Only, the carpet and the duvet had some stains. And the wifi in the rooms wasn't working.

Nice modern hotel, close to underground

A good location - three Metro stops from the Marais in a non-touristy part of the city. The rooms are small and the door into the bathroom is coloured glass - stylish but these facts may bother some people. There was a safe that wasn't bolted down but no fridge/minibar.

Lovely modern hotel. Although the rooms are small the recent make-over makes maximum use of all the available space with adequate shelving and cupboards. Also very well sound-proofed - we couldn't hear anything from the building site next door. Great location with some very good local bars and bistros nearby.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the hotel. The hotel offered excellent value accomodation and would recommend for travellers on short stays.

Esattamente come nella descrizione, L'hotel nella sua semplicità ha offerto una qualità di servizi davvero eccellente in riferimento al prezzo pagato. Pregevolissima l'intensità del getto d'acqua calda nella doccia. A parte questo riferimento la collocazione dell'hotel )tre minuti dalla fermata della metro) consente rapidamente di raggiungere qualsiasi parte della città. A piedi si raggiunge gare de lyon e anche piazza della bastiglia (15 min) e volendo si entra subito nell'effervescente quartiere di marais. La zona dell'hotel è molto popolare ma davvero tanquilla ed è ricca di locali e di tutti i servizi possibili. Alla reception la gentilezza è davvero di casa. Ci siamo fermati in hotel ben 6 notti. Consigliato per un turismo che guarda molto alla sostanza.La camera era spaziosa e ben pulita per quanto la moquette lascia sempre qualche dubbio. Il cambio della biancheria è stato giornaliero e persino apprezzabile il doppio cambio delle lenzuola.

L'HOTEL è PICCOLISSIMO E UN PO FUORI DAL CENTRO.PER QUANTO PAGAVAMO CI ASPETTAVAMO UN POSTO MIGLIORE.LA METRO è VICINA E LO STAFF DELL'ALBERGO MOLTO CORDIALE MA COMUNQUE CON TUTTI GLI ALBERGHI MIGLIORI CHE SI POSSONO TROVARE A PARIGI DI CERTO NON TORNEREI Lì!

Perfect and cheap hotel near gare de Lyon. It is clean and with everything you need from this type of hotel. Recommended.

I was in transit from CDG to Marseille via TGV. Convenient for access to Gare de Lyon.If arriving by Metro get off at Reuilly Diderot.Loads of good eateries on Bd. Diderot.

I stayed in this hotel during a business trip. Absolutely value for money! Though I was extremely lucky to get a 4 bed spacious room for the rate of a single....... The room was situated at the back of the hotel, so very quiet. Probably you will hear some noise when staying at the front. Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was ok too, only the breakfast room is in the cellar and has a bit of a "cellar" smell (earth-smell). The hotel offers good WiFi internet services against reasonable rates. Overall the hotel is very clean but has limited public areas. But given the location with many restaurants and bars in the direct neighbourhood, who cares? I'll stay there again next time.

Bath room was really clean. The room was big and very comfortable. (We got 4 beds rooms for 3 persons.) Breakfast was rich enough with variety of jams, cheese, etc. Only 2 points were not so good : A cover of a bedside lamp was broken when we came back 2nd night. (The remains of the broken parts were cleared off.) Sometimes we smelled a toilet of some other room.

Close to Gare De Lyon (10 minute walk) and the Metro (3 minute walk) so very handy to get about Paris. Staff helpful and friendly. As with all the lower priced Parisian hotels, skip the breakfast, they are not worth the money and there is so much choice outside the hotel.

This is a simple clean friendly cheap hotel. We had a courtyard room which was small but very quiet - friends staying at the same time had a street room which was bigger with more light although (naturally) not so quiet. The staff were friendly and there are some lovely bars and bistros in the area - a hidden gem for the price

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were fun and friendly. The hotel is convenient to all areas of Paris and the Bistrot next door is excellent.

Only here for 1 night for proximity to Gare de Lyon (actually, it's not that near...but walkable if u don't have a heavy suitcase). The location given on the website led me to another hotel with a similar name (nearer the station!). Many people before me seemed to have made the same mistake...the concierge, though polite, was obviously fed up of redirecting people!! Once at the correct hotel I found it to be rather drab and basic with an internal courtyard and metal staircases up to the various floors (which would have doubled as a fire escape) as well as a lift. This meant that if you had a room on the courtyard side (as I did!) the noise level from people clanging up the metal staircase was considerable. I don't think I would stay here again for any longer than 1 night!

A nice little hotel, great service & value. The breakfast space can get a little cramped but it is worth it. Highly Recommended.

We were very pleased with this hotel, and the location near the train station and metro stations. An excellent value.
