There was only one little Pb with the window of the room which was not properly secured (wrong locking). This has been reported to the reception desk.

Overall clean and tidy, OK for a short stay but very basic and overpriced for what it is.

Touring Hotel is a no-nonsense business hotel. The staffs are efficient and helpful, if you ask questions. My room was very basic but all my needs were there. The breakfast was very good.

I was very pleased with the hotel surroundings (five minutes' walk from rue Mouffetard, not far from several metro stations), and with the welcoming and helpful staff members. The hotel is off the boulevard, so it is fairly quiet. I stayed there a couple of times, the first time I got quite a small single room, the second time the room was much bigger; both were very clean. Breakfast was okay. It is a shame that you have to pay for the internet though (but you can go to several coffee places nearby and get it free there). I would stay there again, because of its good location, price and staff friendliness.

hot water was unavailable for several hours in the morning one of my stay days and no announcement was performed before. The employee entered the room to clean when I was taking a shower.

Not luxury, but excellent basic accommodation for the person who does not spend much time in the hotel room.

The 2 day stay at Touring Hôtel Le Magendie was quite OK! About 5 minutes walk from nearest Metrostation. Our 3-bed room was spacious and toilet/shower clean and big!

Une bonne adresse, au calme, avec un petit déjeuner correct. Les chambres mériteraient tout de même d'être un peu rafraîchies et le nettoyage est aléatoire certains jours.

Clean and simple, great value for the money. Super friendly and helpful staff. Don't expect luxury or you'll be disappointed, but hard to beat at that price and location.

It's good hotel for staying 2 days. verything is good, the thing not so good is the TV is on the top of the wall, so it's difficult to watch. however it's good hotel for the price and the place.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. Room was cleaned daily, to exceptional standards. Good neighborhood, about 8 minutes from the subway station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Outstanding hotel. We were in a triple room and had lots of space. Very happy with the hotel. The price was very reasonable for Paris and the breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel is about 200 meters from a metro stop, so getting around was easy. Also they had a secure, underground parking lot for only 10 Euro per day. Very important as we drove into town. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay next time I am in Paris.

For the money, a terrific bargin. It is, however, out of the way to most tourist attractions. Best for students and tourists. Be wary of the very pricey internet access fees (Free internet is available in several nearby parks, namely Square Rene Legalle.) and the phone charges even on calls which should have been toll free. These quibbles aside, it was a wonderful stay, and the breakfast first rate.
Germany, May 2008
The hotel was good value for money. I just missed a decent wardrobe in the room. Bath was smal but OK. Breakfast was OK. Good area to stay not far away from the metro and busses.

I chose this hotel for me and my parents, and felt incredibly worried/responsible because I couldn't "see" it in advance. However, it was VERY wonderful for the price. Extremely helpful desk, who looked up lots of information for me to help take my parents to Verseilles. A breakfast that ended up being free for us on the weekends because we had stayed more than one night. Car park underneath the hotel was a little dingy with a very low incline (we hit bottom coming in from off the street, and my mom and I had to get out of the car to lighten the load), but the car was very safe. I had no qualms about the neighborhood, either. Very good deal; I'd come back! One note though: the address is actually 6, Rue Corvisart, not 6 Rue Corvisard as indicated.

Hotel was clean, staff helpful, small rooms but good value for money. Only issue after checking out we left bags at hotel due to our late departure, the bags are left in a single room anyone asking for the key is given the key and is free to put or take anything without being checked. But on the whole very good value for money.

This is a good hotel not only for it's fairly price but for the quality, the room is clean and quite, althouth it's not so big, but it's enough for normal tourist. If I can visit Paris again, I'd stay in this hotel again.

Small, clean room in a quiet area. Not too far from the train station so we easily found our way from the airport by bus and train. Not really close to many of the major sites however we did walk to most places (usually anything from 20 to 40 minute walks) and found several interesting things on the way. There is a great Moroccan restaurant nearby. Overall, it served us well for the price. Very cheap for Paris.

I stayed for two nights at the touring and I can say that it was very adequate for its price and location. Line 6 of the metro is probably the best to see the sights and is within easy walking distance from the hotel, generally my stay was very pleasent and the room altough small, it did have a small double bed and was ideal for one person. would stay again

an o.k. place if one just wants just a clean quite not too expensive room. Close to Place d'italy but takes some minutes to walk to the tram, bus though is very close.
