The room on the 7th floor was very small, one bedside light didn't work, the air-conditioning didn't work & we had no hot water in the morning. We changed rooms to the 5th floor & everything worked except the hot water ran out again.

The rooms are ridiculously smaller , it's just a hotel 2 star, rather than a 3 star like indicated. If you want something better for your stay (and It'll be easy to find), choose the same location but, you'll need pay more 140€ at least for a good 3 stars.

The distance of the hotel to gare de l'est or gare du nord is only about ten minutes to walk and I appreciate that very much. It's a little, cosy hotel with friendly employees.

This was my first stay at the Hotel Art, and I must admit, also at this area of Paris. I was a little afraid because I´ve heard tath the "Gare du Nord" area was not the safest, but just 200 hundred m. away from "The Gare" the area changed. The surroundings of the hotel where very quiet and beautiful, with nice old buildings and churches and synagoges. It´s very easy to get to other areas of Paris. Some can one walk to, such us Galleries Lafayette and the Opera. There are many good and unexpensive restaurants in this area, also a marked. The people at the reception of the hotel could several languages and were very helpful. I just love my stay at "The Art". Very good deal for the money... Will probably stay here my next time in Paris!!

Every thing was ok, the hotel is very conveniently located near Gare du Nord and different metro station, the only thing I missed very much was a fridge in the room.

Smallest hotel room+bathroom I've ever seen, but cleanliness was OK. Breakfast offering OK, but the same every day. We had to wait for the room occup. - promised 2 o'clock pm, but were ready at 2:40. Staff speaks English, they were kind. Price/quality rate 8/9.

Easy walking distance from Gare Nord and many stores nearby - including a coin laundry. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Excellent restaurant next door to the Hotel Art as well.

We booked a triple room through Venere. According to the hotel employee, Venere had not faxed the reservation to them. They gave us a room, but all that was left was a room with one double bed (for three of us ladies). We were tired and just took the room. We were charged a little more for the room (about 10Euro) Nice hotel though. In a good area, close to the Metro. Might stay there again, might not.

The room was nice with a view to the street (actually quite - not that many cars at all). The room was clean and all facilities are in order. Generally this is a nice place to stay in Paris if you planning to see the sights and wish to stay within budget :-). Well - good thing is a small shop nearby where water, juice, cheese, fruits and something like that available till late at night (30 meteres from the entrance).

Hotel was clean. Rooms doors on the hallway very noisy in the morning. A big problem was the following: breakfast is not included, we did not have breakfat at the hotel but it was billed on the final note as if we did: 9 euros/day/person. After some arguing it was erased from the bill, but still very unpleasant. (When we arrived we were told that breakfast was included in the room price, but I knew from venere it was not included so I did not risk it and had breakfast in town, probably better value for maney; I was right not risking it - they tried to bill it!). Would not stay here again.

My room was very small. And bathroom didn't have bathtub. But cleanliness of room was excellent. And this hotel is near Nord station and undergronund. That is very good lacation. And hetel surroundings wrere so-so. There were some cafe and super market near the hotel. And my room was not quiet because of next room's voice.
