Very loud rooms, the walls are so thin, you can hear people talk in other rooms and the corridor. if you only want to sleep, its okay, but it lost its charme since my last stay in 2007. I think the hotel is quite okay, but there are many things which could be better.

I have been to Paris many times before and It was a good thing as I had a horrible fall in the Metro. I had to rest & it was quiet. The TV was wonderful , loved seeing the shows in French as always!

Abricotel is a good solution for cheap trips.Single room was clean and sufficient for one person. I had breakfast only one time, because, I found it was very poor (... 7 euros...). Indications for going in hotel were not clear : I suggest to better explain indications to go first time in hotel. Anyway, it was closed to metro (3 lines for the station). I repeat : good solution for cheap travellers.

Too small bathrooms and the room was not spacious. You can listen to all the noise the neighbours make. Excellent position for going to the main attractions by metro and nice surroundings.

Small room, but you have a bathroom and a tv.Clean sheets and towels daily. Staff understands English. Many pubs and restaurants around. Close to a supermarket. Conveniently located close to the metro station and in a safe neighborhood.Walls are thin so you might hear noisy neighbors.Rooms smelt little musty especially in the morning. Still good value for money.

The Abricotel is a small, clean hotel, the rooms serviced everyday, the staff friendly. However breakfast is not included and at 7 Euro is not at all good value for money. As a two star hotel it was acceptable. But in comparison to other places we used on our trip,it really should have the meagre breakfast included. But maybe that is Paris and as they say in the classics, you get what you pay for. Some of the other guests were very noisy, for whom the Hotel staff apologised next morning.

It was difficult to look for the hotel when we first arrived since no one (asked 4 pedestrian and 1 Tabac stand) really know where the street is. The "Plan du Quartier" (Neighbourhood) map helped a little bit. There was a strong smell when we opened the door to our room and it got better after the window was opened. The lift only take 2 people at one time and we got trapped inside once. We rang the alarm and I guessed they reset it and it was ok. But after that, we were scared whenever we took it. Overall, you get what you pay for and I think I don't mind going back there again.

I was only about 2 blocks from the Metro stop at Jaures. Room was small, but clean and serviceable. En-suite bathroom with shower was small but it was adequate. Didn't come to spend time in hotel room, so it was fine

As a single disabled person I requested a room suitable for myself. I was given a double room (costing the same price for 1 as for 2 people) but how on earth 2 people could cope in the room is beyond me, if one person is in a wheelchair. Comments: No.1: the bed. No more than 2' off the floor, with a hard rubber mattress, so uncomfortable. Luckily I was on my own because there was only one pillow per person, but I could use both pillows, even then I rolled my coat under them to elevate myself up a bit more. No.2: I can at least walk a bit, but with the width of the room there was no way a wheelchair could go down the side of the bed, if a disabled person needed help getting in and out of bed; this would have been an impossibility. No. 3: The shower was OK, the floor was flat, but no seat for a disabled person, just a tiny round 3 legged stool, about 2' off the floor, useless for a disabled person. No.4: There was a generator outside my room which made a noise all night long. No.5: I could hear water flushing through the pipes which were outside my room, from the upstairs rooms, not condusive to a good nights sleep. My son got stuck in the tiny lift going up one night and was told it was his fault the dodgy lift stopped between floors!! Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, if help was needed, such as getting taxis. You get what you pay for, next time we'll pay a bit more and hopefully get a better type of hotel.

I was in Paris for tourism. I had one night in Abricotel (single room with shower & toilets included). Very nice hotel : cleaned, good reception. Breakfast is not included in price (not indicated by Venere). Only one negative point : rooms are very noisy !

This was a clean, well-situated room for a low price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is on a quiet street close to a major metro station. The walls are a little thin, but guests in the hotel were by and large considerate of others in the hotel. We will definitely return to Abricotel.

I recommend this hotel, very good price-quality ratio. The rooms are quite small, but totally enough. Anyway, if you are in Paris you don't want to spend too much time in the hotel. Next time in Paris I will choose Abricotel again. The room and bathroom was cleaned every day, also the towels were changed. The transportation is excellent, 1-2 minutes walk from the Jaurés metro station. There are many pubs and cafes around and we found a very good bakery just a few steps away from the metro, had breakfast there every day. There is supermarket close also.

Very good experience. Conveniently located near the Gare du Nord (but not too near) and down a quiet side street. Walls are a bit thin but other guests were very quiet so not really an issue. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly given that we had bicycles (which we were able to wheel through into the open-air courtyard). We thought it was pretty good value at 62Euro/night and would certainly recommend.

An excellent hotel. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional, and really enjoy their job and the job of customer service. An absolute pleasure. Whilst not in typically touristic area this is very rewarding and intetesting area to stay in.

The hotel was just as i had expected, well located, secure, good staff, 24h reception. the room was clean and i had my own bathroom which was also clean. close to metros and the canal St. Martin. i stayed three nights and i would stay there again. the only problem is the thin walls if you have noisy neighbours, but i only had to knock on the walls once and the rest of my stay was very quiet!

Soddisfatto.

The rooms are small, but you have a bathroom, tv and the beds are good. There are very quiet rooms towards the courtyard. Metro Station and many Restaurants are close to the Hotel. Breakfast is available but I would recommend the bakery Saint Preux close to the Metro Station: It's cheaper and better! If you are looking for a cheap but clean room close to the city, the Hotel Abricotel ist perfect. I have no complaint and would stay again there during my next trip to Paris.

Perfect price/quality balance. Room was small but clean, batrhoom also clean. The staff was not super-friendly but allright. The only strange thing i remember was the alarm ringing two days in a row in the morning; the staff was running around trying to switch it off and not bothering themselves to explain to the clients that there was no fire. At the check-out, two perfectly functioning credit cards have not been accepted by the machine. But for 65 euro per night, it's rather adventure than something to complain about. The hotel is situated in 6 min walk from Jaures metro station, very close. I would definitely recommend it for short budget stay in Paris.

We spent 2 nites in the hotel, we paid 65 euro for each nite. no one tell us about breakfast so we had no breakfast, room is very poor , shower room very small, poor space, everythings very low quality, smell very bad , lots of sound in the morning. waste of our money. we can stay in better place in this price.. so never again in this hotel, very poor, poor everything, not impressvive at all, we had a bad luck..

I had a great stay at Abricotel. The staff was great and knowledgeable about the citys attractions. However, I must say that their is no sound barrier between rooms so if you're looking for a good nigth sleep, you might want to bring ear plugs.

I was looking for somewhere only to use for sleeping and from that point of view the abricotel was fine. It was also very well placed for the metro to the people I was visiting. I would use it again as it was good value for money. Two improvements - first a curfew on people coming in. On the Saturday night there was constant noise and interrruptions up to 3 in the morning. The rooms smelt musty - an air freshener woudld be good.
