The hotel offers a buffet that is alright. Services advertised in the rooms such as biscuits with the in-room coffee maker and extra pillows and blankets were missing. We requested extra pillows that never arrived and we had to go ask again and ultimately get them ourselves. The restaurant should probably take "andouillette" off the menu since the wait staff seemed unable or unwilling to explain that this is tripe. Given the number of Americans staying there I suspect we weren't the only ones to have made the mistake of ordering that. In general, expect a budget hotel with budget service. Everything is geared toward efficiency and you will probably make your plane in the morning if you have an early flight but you won't be longing to stay there again.

The restaurant is very expensive and not very good

Not very good ... OK for an overnight before or after a plane but no more. Lots and lots of bus loads of trippers. Noisy school girls from England. Some pushy Asians. Desk staff not as fluent in English as we would have expected. Restaurant sucked. Bar was OK.

The ratio price/quality is too high. I woke up at 5:00am to catch my flight and the water of the shower was cold. When I called the reception, they told me that it was normal! I had no rebate for this!! Also: only one ironing machine for the hotel!

I chose this hotel because it is so close to the airport. I had an early morning flight and figured that staying close to the airport would reduce my stress of getting there on-time in the morning. The staff is not so friendly as efficient. The rooms are clean and of a good size. This hotel is perfect for travellers who wish to be close to CDG. There IS a shuttle offered, but you must make sure to be out front at least 15 mins. before it is to depart because they fill up fast.

Poor welcoming and services. Noisy. People smoking in corridors. odor of cigarette in a non smoking room

The "Navette" in bus between the hotel and the airport was 30minutes late. I had a discussion with a stewart who was waiting for the same bus and told me the firts navette (due at 5:05 in the morning) was ever late. It's unbelievable!

Rooms were a bit smaller than expected, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The staff were on the whole friendly and helpful. I was happy with my stay.

It's inexpensive but in serious need of some updating. We stayed here to be close to theairport. This is a no frills hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant since there aren't many choices within walking distance; mhowever, it was very disappointing.

I left a dental bridge in the bathroom and the staff appears to have discarded it. The first email I sent was never acknowledged. Only after a second email was sent, did I receive a response saying nothing was found in the room. I am disappointed that this item (which will cost several hundred dollars to replace) was not turned in by the staff.

The room and location were ok for the price;however I would not want to stay there more than one night. Given a choice between this hotel and the other 5 or 6 nearby, I would choose the other.

Turns out there were other hotels closer to the airport; but this was close enough. Hotel bar was very small, only about 8 barstools, and no where else to sit in lobby area. Bar service was slow. There wasn't anywhere else nearby to go except another hotel next door, probably similar. The restaurant was disappointing. Buffet food was poor quality: vegetables were cooked so long they were mush. But the room was comfortable enough. The shuttles to airport were erratic: sometimes driving all around several times, collecting more passengers than the van could accomodate, then followed by another van immediately, with almost no one on board. But it all worked out.

Smoked filled common areas. No air conditioning and no air circulation either as the management decided it was unnecessary once cooler weather prevailed. The lack of air conditioning/circulation forced us to open windows and endure excessive traffic noise as well as the overwhelming cacophony of jets taking off directly overhead. An entirely regrettable experience. This hotel has an Italian name with none of the hospitality associated with Italy.I suggest you delete this from your list of recommendations and if this Italian owned, would sell it or cancel the franchise.

This hotel is fine if all you are looking for is a hotel convenient to Charles DeGaulle airport. Shuttle service to and from airport was timely and convenient.

The first room-406- was very dirty and smelly- and the bed was filthy and bed-bug infested; the second-410-was dirty and the floor was covered with cockaroches. The hotel and restaurant personnel were indifferent and of little help. Indeed, a pichet of rose wine was removed from the table with some wine remaining! When I asked for help with an international phone call, the receptionist refused to help me.

the map was terrible and cost us about £20 just to find the place. so the value went down in your rating. one shuttle bus driver was unfriendly, the other was good and friendly.

One of the best places for its price in Paris that I've seen. Clean and with a good breakfast (although that was not included in the price, which was a surprise). A short walk from the Luxembourg and near some nice restaruants on the Rue du Montparnasse.

Very clean and professional, but location and access to transportation makes this the ideal "stopover" for an early morning flight, but not at all for enjoying Paris or local areas. The breakfast was €8 and quite limited for a hotel of this size and for the price.

Very suitable for the one night stop after a late incoming flight. Breakfast for 8 euros good. Shuttle service to station convenient. Good value hotel
Canada, Sep 2006
We did have a few problems. - the front desk told us there was a service station on the way to the airport so we could fill up our rental car - there was no station on route - we were told to wait at a specific gate for the free shuttle at a specific time - it never arrived so we took a shuttle for one of the other hotels. - the carpet in front of the bathroom of our room was soaking wet making it very dangerous when stepping on the tile in the bathroom. It also resulted in a very bad ordour in the room. - this particular morning was to be our first sleep in of the holiday (8:30). We were first awoken by a 5 AM wake up call that we had not asked for. Next they started to vacuum the hallways at 6:30 AM. The housekeeping then attempted to enter our room at 7 AM, 7:30 AM and 7:50 AM. This was not appreciated at all.

This was just fine for overnight before flying out, but the hotel was not easy to find on the map, and the shuttles are slow in showing up. Lots of kids, very busy and noisy. The rooms are quiet, though. The restaurant is OK, it was our first experience with inexpensive French buffet style. Interesting.

Nice and clean place. Eventhough airplane take off just over the hotel, you didnt really remarks the noice. This hotel, I think, is better than B&B and Première Classe Hotel Ibis in the same area.

We waited at the Charles de Gaulle airport for over an hour in the rain waiting for the shuttle!! Every other hotel shuttle made a pass at least 3 times! The restaurant was not very good.....but the people were friendly, the rooms nice and spacious and they were better at the shuttle being on time in the morning. Its in an area with many other airport hotels but for the price we paid (85euros)...... The price at the hotel was 49Euros!! But we paid 85 online!! Not too happy about spending that much for 11 hours in a hotel room.

It's a good hotel of the type of hotels near an important airport. In the restaurant it is possible to have meals with limited expense (for istance, euros 9 for filling a dish with large choice of vegetables, pieces of fish and meat, etc.). There is a free "navette" (little bus) for the airport "Charles De Gaulle" (the main airport of Paris).

This hotel was almost impossible to find, we went 'round the CDG airport several times in the maze of service roads, etc. Need much better map and instructions, please. Otherwise the hotel provided exactly what we expected.

I had stayed at the Campanile last winter and was extremely satisfied. This time, however, they had turned off the air conditioning system in preparation for winter, and the room was extremely hot. I opened the window but then got all the road and airport noise. My advice is to not stay there during October.

This is a more than adequate airport-type hotel. However, I suggest that you have dinner next door at the Kyriad. Pricier but worth it

New costruction, but don't be fooled by the lobby and pictures. Cramped rooms, excessive rates, officious and poorly informed staff, & no alternative to the hotel's own restaurant. No baggage help; only one working elevator; no airport shuttle after 9AM and the one-way (5 mi) taxi ride cost $30! What a downer after 3 glorious weeks touring France. Among the poorest quality hotels in our 35 years of traveling.

Practical, adequate room, well-priced near CDG airport. The shuttle to the airport is 5 Euro additional. Room was fully featured and nice enough. I was shocked that the commuter rail stopped running from Paris at midnight (not the hotel's fault). I ended up taking a cab from the train's furthest stop.

This hotel, which is near airport CDG, is an excellent value. My spacions room with a large bed was only 60 Euros and they have a very good restaurant. Also, it has double-paned windows so there is no airport noise at all. They do charge a fee for their shuttle service but it is very reasonable.

We had an eight-hour layover in Paris -- enough to warrant a room for the night but not enough to head downtown for more luxurious environs. Campanile is just outside the Charles de Gaulle airport grounds or 15 minutes by hotel shuttle (don't attempt to go by way of taxi, as they will charge you an exorbitant fare for such a short trip). Service was shoddy at midnight, but the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the continental breakfast the next morning was nice (despite the realization that what we thought was a complimentary meal was actually 7 euros per person). It's acceptable for a short stay but don't presume that this would make for an acceptable home-base for a visit to Paris.

Everything worked perfectly. When I arrived my email file was there and even though I was a little early, I was able to get my room. My only complaint for the day I was there relates to the pay movies. The brochure said there were 16 movies that I could watch during the 24 hour period. There was only 1 in English, 2 in French and 4 adult movies that I had no desire to watch. But all in all, I was very satisfied.
