We would definitely stay at the Balladin again, although hopefully there are larger rooms available. Most importantly, the blankets (not the sheets or the bedspreads, just the blankets) badly need changing. They are absolutely in tatters! Our european-style breakfast was excellent. The heater in our room did not work, but we were given a portable electric heater promptly when we notified the desk, and it worked very well.

We missed our flight and were looking for a place nearby for the night, weren't too fussy. Several things that didn't match with description - the hotel is good 20-30 min away from the airport; - the shuttle wasn't complimentary as was stated on the website, - price could've been better considering location and lack of other than a clean bed & shower offer, and - staff wasn't multi-lingual. However, all people were very friendly despite the fact that we were on edge. In 10min walk from the hotel, there's a train station that leads to Gare Nord in 30 min timeframe. Room was clean and on the first floor which we appreciated as our luggage was way to heavy to climb the stairs. The size of the room was decent - having travelled extensively in Europe we learnt not to expect spacious rooms. It worked as an emergency shelter for us in a great way - we managed to save a part of the day by going to Paris.

By public transportation
Take the RER B subway, following the Charles de Gaulle Airport direction. Exit at the TGV station and call the directly the driver on his cellphone.
