we came in the evening and had left after breakfast, so we didn't spent much time at hotel, but everything were as it is written at web-site. wi-fi worked, breakfast was ok (but i tried better and more various at other hotels in turkey) and staff were friendly. we came by our car and parked it nearby the hotel, so can't say anything about pick-up service.

The hotel is excellent in all aspects. The owner is very friendly and professional. The room was very clean. We loved everything about the hotel, even the food and the price.

We found this hotel really excellent. Probably the most comfortable & value-for-money room we had in Turkey. The room was good & the little balcony was an unexpected treat. The pool was a real bonus & very much enjoyed. It was easy to find and a reasonably short walk to the travertines. Staff were helpful & breakfast was good. Later than usual checkout was appreciated. We would have happily extended our stay here if travel arrangements had permitted.

The best possible personal service from the hotel owner and the team. Undoubtedly the best Turish clay oven meal we had on our hoildays.

Excellent hotel, the owners couldn't do enough for us. Took us to main gate for the terraces and drove us to bus station for our onward journey ( no charge ) Excellent meals at a great price. Good for families, couples and singles. Highly recommend this hotel.

this must be the best property in Pamukale based on what we saw. The owner/hostess was vary accommodating, the food was plain but good, and the shaded garden/courtyard was a lovely setting for taking meals. We were sightseeing and her directions and guidebook were very helpful. Altogether a nice memory. We would recommend it highly.

Would highly recommend this property, we arrived in Pamukkale at 7.30am after a 12 hour overnight bus ride and were immediately picked up by hotel staff and shown straight to our room which was a huge relief as we were exhausted. We ate the first night at the hotel and the food was extremely good and very well priced. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. A great hotel choice.

Genuinely the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in, in any country. Rooms were beautiful, location is perfect and the food... well, all I can say is please, please try the food. The best meal I had in Turkey was the dinner in the Melrose Allgau (my partner agreed). The second best was their flawless breakfast. If you stay in Pamukkale, you must stay here!

This was the best place we stayed in Turkey. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful and patient, and the food was excellent. They even helped us to organise our onward travel.

We stayed in Melrose Allgau Hotel 2 days and we enjoyed it a lot. The owners are really nice and friendly people and their food is great. The room was very clean, confortable and with a nice balcony view. I advice you to try it!

We ate at the hotel and it was very tasty. There is a similar menu each night but as most people only stay a few nights this is not a problem. It is better to eat in the Melrose than outside as the local eateries are fairly simple and a bit grotty, unless you want Pide.

It was a nice, cosy and friendly place. The pool was small but good. The food, served by the pool, was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for money. The hotel appears to have a cheaper section with rooms around a pool and tree houses, and a smarter section - we were in the smarter section. It's not an anonymous chain hotel, but a local Turkish hotel with the owners and staff trying their best to provide a happy and personal service.

We found the stay in Melrose Allgau Hotel excellent. The only problem is the total absence of the hotel labels in the village or near to the archaeological site,in order to find it easier. We had been lost twice in the village trying to find the hotel even during the second day. The owners of the hotel were really friendly and they spoke fluently english (it is really rare in Turkey). The plates served in the hotel were tasteful and cheap. The breakfast was also good. Be careful with the water in Pamukalle and use mineral water even for washing your teeth.

I staid two days with three friends at Melrose Allgau Hotel. My stay was very comfortable. It is a good solution to visit Hierapolis, Afrodysia and Laodicea.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in Pamukkale perfectly located for the springs and ancient ruins. Only stayed for 1 night, but in hindsight would have stayed for 3 nights as the hotel was beautiful and incredibly scenic (with lovely touches such as tree-houses you can have dinner in), the food incredible and the price extremely reasonable. The service was 5*. The hotel is run by a friendly family who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, we had a terrific time there.

Our room at the Melrose Allgau was exactly as pictured on the website. It was spacious, clean and had a very nice balcony overlooking the beautifully tended garden. Melmet and Umi were gracious and looked after our every need. The dinner Umi prepared was delicious and elegantly served on the terrace. We would highly recommend the Melrose.

Our first stay at the Melrose Allgau Hotel. A welcome greeting on our arrival. 'Salami'(not the ediable sort) greeted my wife (Anne) & I (Ali) in the grounds of the hotel. He spoke good Enlish and explained all the pros & cons about the hotel, then showed us to our room. The suite was clean and inviting. Shame we were only staying the 1 night. After settling in (30 mins) we went and had freshly brewed Turkish tea (Cay)which was most welcome after a 4 hour drive. Later in the evening we spent some time with the other guests in the family quarters and passed the remainder of the evening chatting with them. The following morning we ate a hearty Turkish breakfas(again served in the family quarters)which was most welcome and enjoyable After numerous hot lashings of tea and coffee we had to say our goodbyes. We departed on a high note feeling that if ever we returned then this would be our choice of accomadation to stay at. A big Thank you (Tesekkur ederim) to all who made our stay so enjoyable. The 'Melrose Allgau Hotel was very very nice (Cok Cok Guzel)Would highly recommend to all who visit this area. Small, friendly clean and most inviting.

the stay was wonderful....v had taken a suite there n the room wus great ... so were the owners. They were friendly and very helpful,we felt very much at home. The hotel was just a walking distance from pamukkale travertines n heirapolis which made things easy for us. The food was cooked by ummi..the hostess herself...which changed our view of turkish cuisine entirely...the home cooked dinner was very traditional n nice. The only problem v faced was the cold weather(and we were the only people staying there at that time)..but that didnt stop us from enjoying the stay... we would recommend this place to anyone without a second thought..

The Turkish couple who run the Melrose Allgau are just great and easy to work with. We met a wide variety of European, Australian and New Zealand people.

This is an excellent pension. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, speak excellent English and German. They are attentive but not instrusive. The food is good. We ate all out meals there. Don't be put off by the name, which is more or less accidental and will probably be changed in the near future. It is really Turkish, not English or German. The garden has unusual wooden tree houses that make for quiet retreat places to sip drinks on a hot day. We enjoyed Heiropolis enormously. Leave lots of time to explore this complex site. We spent 7 hours there and could well have done more. This is a place to spend at least 3 days, more is you just want to relax and enjoy. Afrodisias is about 1 1/2 hours away by car and well worth a day. July and August are very hot, so it is best to visit either earlier or later. We were there in early October and the weather was perfect.
