staff was very friendly and helpful, providing us information and helping us in some tips. hotel is good in anycase for a weekend. we were 3 person in 1 room, and space was not enough, however for weekend and considering the good price we dealt with limited space.

Too far from city , close to cala Majol beach

Hotel staff was abrupt and not friendly upon our arrival. Our bathroom was grimy and dirty. Given that we were staying for just one night I refused to use the shower/tub and waited to shower at our next destination. The hotel is located far from the old city. You will need to walk down a hill to the bus stop and ride the bus for about 15 minutes to get into the main city of Palma d. Majorca. You can't just stroll to the old city.

For the price paid, hotel satisfactory. Our room at the back overlooked a dingy car park, was in the shade so the room was very quiet and not heated by the sun, therefore good location. Others referred to the quality of the breakfast. While there was plenty to eat, mostly protein and the usual spanish prediliction for junk and confectionary, there was no fresh fruit. Bad for Spain. Anyway, no danger of starving and many will like it. There is a Mercadona supermarket down the strret so you can top up on your favourites there. The hotel is a €20 taxi ride from the sirport. For those that like to keep their money, take the No 1 bus from the airport to the Placa Espana and the No 3 from there to the Marivent Place entrance, then a 3 min walk. Cost €3pp. The double bed we had was small. We requested a bigger one, were informed all the same size. If you like sleeping together, get a twin room, you'll sleep better. The internet facility is poor and the staff did not seem to be clued in. It took me 20mins to print an email. This only took 3 visits to reception. Don't be in a hurry. The hotel is on the west side of Palma, you will need the No 3 bus or taxi to move around in the heat. For the money we paid we were happy enough. If you want perfection, the Victoria will happily give you that for €300 per night. Incidentally, if you want to hire a car, try www.doyouspain.com where you will get a small car for about €15 per day. Be warned that there is a Ryanair approach to the pricing. You are charged €50 for a full tank of fuel at the start of the hire and told to RETURN THE TANK EMPTY. Thats some trick. The fuel price is about €1.70 per litre which is UK prices at the old exchange rate, about 50% higher than the local price. Take it on the chin, folks, OK if you do a lot of driving and take the car for an extended period, otherwise the hotel will charge you about 35 to 40 per day for the same size car. The wall are a litte thin. The security lock on our room did not work. Maybe we missed them, but better directions to the hotel from the airport via the bus system would be great. The food and dining for breakfast and dinner were GREAT! Thanks

3 nights booked but overbooking....due to delay of the flight, we arrived at 11pm and had no more room. Relocated to a better hotel, just for 1 night... You better confirm your booking before travelling to be sure they keep you the room....It's not pleasant to arrive late in the night and notice that your booking has been cancelled

I like this hotel. Its very good value. The staff are very professional. I had breakfast in the hotel and one dinner and the food was excellent. Its a short walk to the beach and lots of nice restaurants and the no.3 bus which drops you into Palma goes every 10 minutes. We had a room overlooking the pool and with a sea view. I would definately stay here again.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the DALI. There had been a major renevation since our last visit, and everything was top class. Last time the evening meals were excellent in quality and value. This time the quality was not as good. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. All in all great value, and good service.

Good price. Stayed during the summer so prices were a bit higher. 10 minute walk from la playa de Cala Mayor. About a 10 euro cab from downtown or there is a bus stop about a 5 minute walk away. Our room did not have a view. My wife arrived feeling quite sick and they were very helpful on getting us in the room early. I would stay again.

Rooms are noisy, rare view is bad, breakfast and services are good.

For a budget hotel, the Hotel Dali is superb. The rooms and facilities were as described and well worth the price charged. The staff were unbelievably helpful, providing lots of help on Palma, the surrounding area and how to use public transport. An excellent stay all round!

Good value for money hotel, bearing in mind that we visited in May so perhaps prices increase significantly in peak season. Clean rooms, good communal facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Although access to the hotel is from a non-descript side road it is only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop where the very regular Number 3 bus will take you to the centre of Palma in around 15 minutes, so in that sense it is conveniently located. The beach of Cala Mayor is a 10 minute walk down the road. One word of warning - when booking be sure to request a room overlooking the swimming pool which will have a view of the sea as well. We were allocated a room on the other side of the building which had a view of a grotty block of flats and a disused and overgrown Basketball Court and Mini Golf Course - not very inspiring. As we were only staying at the hotel for two nights it was no big deal however if you were staying there for a week or so I am sure the (lack of a) view would become very depressing. If you enjoy seafood then a visit to Rififi at Porto Pi just down the road (as recommended by the friendly barman at the hotel) should do the trick.

We spent 9 nights at hotel Dali. The first two nights in room 501 were bad: the noise of the lift machinery, of the air conditioning machinery, plus the water pump on the roof was just unbearable. (even with earplugs)... The hotel staff was very understanding and moved us to room 502 where we only had to bear the noise of the water pump, which was nothing compared to room 501. The 7 following nights were good and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
