Hotel Villa Archirafi - Palermo

This hotel is ok, but compared to other hotels we staid in Sicily this is very "average". We stayed in many nicer places for less Euros, therefore we would specially recommend it to others.

Another great stay at this very handy location, next to the Botanic Gardens and near the sea and a short walk to the central railway station.

Excellent room - with a sea view (just) and overlooking very pleasant botanical gardens. Reasonably convenient location. Surprising quiet. Lift very functional but functioning!

Location is convenient and walking distance from the center and main attractions. Free parking is available although number of places is quite limited. Rooms on the street's side are noisy due to heavy traffic. A bit disappointed that the room was a smoker room.

C'est un hôtel très sympathique, bien placé où je suis allée déjà 3 fois avec plaisir et satisfaction, les amis qui m'ont accompagnée aussi. Demander les chambres donnant sur le Jardin botanique, très agréables.

During my 12 day stay in Sicily I stayed in some very pretty and expensive hotels, but the Villa Archirafi was my favorite. It was clean and provided comfort and hospitality. I chose the Archirafi because it was adjacent to the wonderful Orto Bontico. Fernando directed me to the best food I enjoyed on my trip just down the street. If and when I come back to Palermo I would make Archirafi my home away from home. To be honest I was not expecting a Hilton, but I have been badly disappointed by some Hiltons in the past and wasn't disappointed at Villa Archirafi.

Clean, simple & comfortable, right next to the Botanic Gardens and within walking distance of the Central Railway Station and the seafront (no beach). Small but refreshing patio. Lovely shop nearby for coffee, ice-cream and marzipan sweets. I have stayed there before (on business) and would do so again.

The hotel is close to the train station and for one night the hotel was OK for the price. I would not want to return to Palermo. The reception was a bit cold as was the checkout. The room was quiet on an upper floor, and generally clean exept for a very moldy shower ceiling. Breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. Didn't find a Starbucks in the whole country. The hotel is on an ugly street with no restaurants around, so plan ahead. We had given up our car by then but they did have a secure parking lot in front of the hotel.

We stayed in Palermo for 3 days. We could parked the car in the free parking space in front of the hotel. The hotel is located on near the centre, so we could enjoyed seeing around the area. But hotel staff was not so friendly when we arrived late at night, and next morning the room was not cleaned because we did not make our room vacant by 12'o clock.

The hotel is good, poor breakfast(only coffee and cruasant)? double room is spacious. I had the room with view to the botanic garden - it is quiet side, room with view on the street Lincoln is noisy. It,s 7-8 min.walk from train staion, but the Hotel surroundings are china town.
