Only really negative point is that unless you know there is a bell you can ring in entrance, you climb two steep flights of stairs with your bags suitcases etc .. on other hand if you ring, someone can come down to help or send you the service elevator.. definitely convenient location, but noisy no matter where you are, we stayed two separate times... also, be prepared for view on filthy garbage in streets if you have a room on the inside side.. very pleasant reception and otherwise good value.

It was a very good experience. The only bad thing I can say about it is that is not a very quiet area of the city, but except for that it is a very good hotel.

Very good quality hotel, located in the centre of the city. clean room, kind and smiley staff. the only bad thing is that the street downstairs could be noisy at night. but after all I really recommend your stay here.

Everything was nice except the noise level. We had a room on the side which I thought would be better than one facing the street. Instead of the steady traffic noise(which would have been OK) we were above an alley with nightspots and tables outside. Even with closed windows it was fairly loud. Other than that, the location was great and everything else was fine

Well located and delivered what was needed. I saw no sign of free transfers to station or beach as offered on the website and the staff had no english so communictaion was a little difficult.

When we arrived we were given a tiny room - less than 4m x4m incl bathroom. I complained and we were moved to another room for the second night. Second room was good. Location good - almost opposite Opera House. Staff quite helpful. Good breakfast (pastries, bread, juice etc) No lift.

The hotel was a good buy. However, it is located up two long flights of stairs, and there is an extreme noise issue. I'm from New York City, so I'm used to urban noise, but the noise from the street (honking, drunken young people, dogs barking, sirens) was incredibly loud and went all night. We found the rooms pleasant and the staff extremely helpful--we were leaving for the airport very early in the morning, and they were great about arranging transport. (My group had an Italian speaker with us, which made things much easier.) So, I would recommend this hotel, but only if you're not carrying a great deal of luggage and if you bring earplugs.

Great place when you visit Palermo. In the middle of town close to the markets and the cathedral. We had a room facing the street which is very noisy but the balcony was nice. The breakfast was good but a little too many sweet things to make you feel good in the morning. I would prefer something a bit more healthy... But the staff was nice and helpful andeverything worked out well the whole stay and I would definitely come back to this place if I was to go to Palermo again.

The proprietor was very welcoming and attentive. She didn't speak any English, but my Italian was sufficient to communicate the essentials. I had a single room which was away from the street, which I was pleased, as the streets can become very noisy in central Palermo of an evening. The room was clean and compact, but not squashed. Good shower and toilet facilities. Good value for a short stay.

I gave Verdi a mixed review since the room and location was very good. The reception was very helpful but didn't speak much English. There was also a powerful stench coming from the reception area so we couldn't eat breakfast. That was a definite no-no for me. It really put me off the place even though I liked everything else about it. Location is superb and the room was quite large. Great pizzeria around the corner.

This Hotel is located directly in the center of Palermo, nearly in front of Theatre Maximo. Therefore it is very good suited for touristic walks or shopping in Palermo. It lies at one of the main roads of Palermo, therefore you cannot keep the windows open for longer than 5 minutes because of noise and exhaust. If you have questions or problems, the staff will help you. The breakfirst is very poor, like it is usual for italian people.

Great Hotel with a good location (in front of Teatro Massimo). Very attentious staff. Only missed an internet station and the fact the administrators don´t speak English. Anyway, they were so willing to help that we communicated using a mixture of Brazilian-Italian languages plus signals.

Personale gentilissimo, posizione ottima, pulizia eccellente, colazione molto fornita e ampia scelta.
