The Hotel Tonic was somewhat randomly selected from the Internet but it was a great choice. Well located, good rooms, friendly and helpful staff and good value. As a staff member in the nearby Grand Hotel said, Hotel Tonic is "piccolo ma grazioso" it was certainly appreciated by the six travellers in our party. We two stayed an extra night. Recommended without a quibble.

The bathroom was very cramped, it was impossible to move without knocking knees against the water or the bidet. the room was clean and spacious.

Hotel Tonic was spectacular. The location is great - in a part of Palermo that is busy without being insane or creepy. The hotel is easy to locate because they actually have a prominent neon sign, from 2 directions. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating (even finding a place to store our bikes). Their restaurant recommendation was also wonderful. Breakfast was substantial and included fresh fruit juice. The cathedral ceilings, Murano glass chandeliers, terrace and lift were all big pluses for the price. And it even included unlimited WiFi!

The Hotel Tonic was for us our first night in Sicily after a late arrival. The services offered are well done and the rooms are beautiful.

Good hotel in the city center. The structure was a bit old, but clean. Welcoming was very good. I suggest Hotel Tonic if you have to stay a few days in Palermo.

The property and the rooms are very fresh/clean, the air conditioning was efficient even during high outside temperatures. The staff was friendly and spoke good english. The breakfast is good by Italian hotel standards. For internet access there is one computer that is charged by the minute, around 8 Euros an hour.

Excellent location - despite some difficulty accessing street by car because of one-way system - close to theatres, cafes, buses and shopping. Efficient reception, splendid breakfast selection with charming staff. Comfortable room, immaculate en-suite, balcony at high level so interest value without the noise despite the road below. Excellent quality - price rapport.

Per essere un 3 stelle vale molto, ha i prezzi di un 2 stelle però ne vale 4. il personale è molto cortese e disponibile, la colazione è abbondante, il circondato è interessante, è una delle zone migliori della città.

Location was perfect, easy bus service to all areas. Unfortunately our room was on the street across from dumpsters that were emptied several times during the night. I would ask for a quiet room next time. The advertised bar was never open.

I met two unpleasant receptionists. First guy had a couple of hours for registering my passport data (why he needed so long time for this? Somebody at other hotel given me back immediately) The other guy was worse than first guy: one day I was so sick and wanted to have some hot tea in my room. At first, I called bar service, nobody answered the phone so I called the receptionist for asking to bring me some hot/boiled water to my room. He immediately denied my request, since the bar was closed. (what he would do if I was dying?) Also he suggested me the wrong street when I asked my next hotel in Palermo: it was near Teatro Politeama, but his suggestion was near Teatro Massimo! (why he confused these famous theaters in Palermo???) Room was clean, and the shower did have hot water very well, but I DO NOT recommend this hotel for you.
