We spent 3 days in Palermo. The room was quite OK, but the bathroom was a bit neglected, and we found a cockroach in the room. It was very disgusting.

This is small hotel very near center city. About 5 inutes walk to the theater or cathedral; indeed very convenient location. Street is busy, but if to lock down the window noice is not interferring with normal sleep. accomodations are excellent: bathroom is large and comoplete-toiler, bide, sink. Room is big enough not to feel squized. very good breakfest wityh the best coffe I had in Sicily. Hotel has parking with convenient exit and this is priceless os close to the center city. I had Volvo S60, pretty big car and had not have problems at this parking. Overall best small hotel I ever used

This is an average two star Italian hotel, it's good value for money and it is well located, clean, friendly and spacious, except for the shower recess which in the Italian tradition was designed for small people. The big plus is the the breakfast room which gives a commanding view over the entire city and it's surrounds. It's the best view in Palermo without a doubt.

Very welcoming staff. Great views from the room we stayed in. Room was large and comfortable. Handy for Segesta and Terravision buses, also sightseeing buses and local buses. Get tickets for the local Red, Green and Yellow lines, for cheap transport to all the main tourist sites. Agent for tours etc on ground floor. Shops, restaurants, and caffes nearby, inclusing street caffes and gelateria. Hotel is on 10th floor, accessed by common lifts. We encountered water leaking through the dining room roof, after a storm in the night, but that seemed to affect other buildings nearby, too.

The perfect base to explore this most beautiful of cities. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk straight up the Via Maqueda from the train station (though you'll want to walk more slowly so you can take in the sights). I stayed five nights, and found the atmosphere relaxed, the room clean and quiet, the help-yourself breakfast generous, with the succession of cakes almost as spectacular as the view of the mountains that ring Palermo. I would book again in a heartbeat.

Hotel had nice rooms and an excellent public balcony to overlook the city. It rained and they had a problem with leaks in the roof, but not in our rooms. Breakfast was good and the only complaint was that the hotel was a ways away from the main sites...15 minute walk.

Great position on 10th floor of building with other hotels close to Teatro Massimo. Superb views from breakfast lounge. Do hope they can repair water damaged ceiling in lounge area.

It's a nice, spaciouse and clean place. Two "problems": It's on the 10th floor and only one slow lift works and the breakfast is poor: no cheese and no ham. They should improve this.

A very nice hotel, spacious rooms, very clean with mini-bar. Nice bathroom with shower and hair dryer. The breakfast is served in a room overlooking the whole city, the view is breathtaking and you can take a stroll on the huge balcony. There is even a terrasse on the 10t floor. The hotel is quiet but not far from the major streets and there are a lot of nice restaurants in the area. The hotel is at 20 minutes walk from the station. The owner is quiete friendly and speaks French and english.

We had a spacious room with a spectacular view and despite damp stain on the wall was great...however not all rooms were as good as this. Breakfast was not so great but thats common to many Italian hotels. It has the feeling of a B&B as there are really no other facilities other than the Breakfast room and reception which wasnt always manned. Location is outstanding. As our room was great & location was good we were v.happy with the hotel.

We stayed at the start and end of our holiday. Both roms were clean and comfortable, with good views, and quiet. Staff friendly nad helpful, with some English. The only fault we found was the breakfast - especially the undrinkable coffee

We had a great time at Hotel Liberta, it's a very friendly, quiet place with a high standard of cleanliness. It's very central so a great point from which to explore Palermo and it feels safe, even when coming home late at night. Most impressively, the views are AMAZING! Well worth staying here just to enjoy the view; from our room, the breakfast room and the balconies the view really is breathtaking. I definitely recommend this hotel, you'll have a lovely time!

We stayed at Hotel Libertà for 5 nights and we really liked this hotel. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accomodate us. Also, the hotel is very quiet, considering it's locatin in down town Palermo, due to the fact that it is located on the 10th and 11th floor. It also has an excellent view og the city and the surroundings. I would stay there again anytime I go back. Only "but" was the fact that the breakfast became more and more limited every morning, because we stayed there out of high season and they only had very few visitors. However, we can live with that.
