First they offer us a very spacious room but sited in the street floor with the window looking a bus stop, so it was too noisy; however, when we tell that to the recepcionist, he change the room with another one in the back, smaller but very confortable at all.

We would recommend Hotel Garibaldi to others. The room and bathroom were spacious. The shower worked great. Breakfast had a nice variety of tasty food.

The hotel is fine, and close to many things in the city. But they never called for the wake-up call we requested, never on the 2 nights we stayed.

It was a clean, cozy hotel and the a receptionist spoke a little bit of Japanese(though some even do not smile). I think 4 stars they have is a bit of over-estimation. The entrance is located in the half-underground, and nobody helped me with luggage when checking in. Though it is in a good location.

The hotel is an excellent choice for both business and holiday trips. The location sets you in the "nice" part of Palermo close to the old town (walking distance) and close to bus stops. Staff was friendly and service minded, and the parking lot is practical if you have a rental car. Nice and modern rooms, make sure you get a room facing the backyard as the traffic noise can keep you up all night...

Staying there in a really good 4-star hotel with my wife we enjoyed very much the comfortable room in modern design, the substancial breakfast. Very well located hotel. In front of the hotel a stop of a hop-on-hop-off buses. Nice coffee-shops and typical restaurants nearby and recommandable shops.

This hotel features the best possible access to airport bus stop--6 Euros and 40 minutes from the airport, a few hundred feet from the hotel. The tradeoff is that the hotel isn't all that close to the main tourist sites (except the archeologicial museum, which is indeed close). This hotel was very busy and therefore a bit impersonal. However, the staff was able and helpful when approached. Good breakfast, free parking, too--and the Avis agency is about a half mile walk away. Incidentally, if you have driven in large Italian cities such as Rome, Milan or Florence, Palermo is par for the course, so don't believe the Palermo horror stories on the net. If you are going to drive around the island, as we did, you can get your car, park it at the hotel and leave town the next day. Then, you return the car, spend the night at the hotel, and catch the airport bus the next day. Perfetto!

Hotel Garibaldi was in an excellent part of town. It was more quiet and clean than the heart of the city and it allowed us to easily walk to most of the main attractions while also being able to stop back at the hotel for a quick rest in the afternoon. The square where you catch the bus to Mondello Beach was within 5 blocks of the hotel and we were dropped off in the main square in front of the theatre on the way home. If you have an extra day in Palermo I highly recommend visiting this beautiful beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was great - a lot of options and seating. We were very happy with this hotel and would stay here again if we were to visit Palermo.

Excellent location:centrally situated with on-site parking (unusual in Palermo)and bus stop for local buses, site-seeing buses and airport shuttle immediately outside hotel. Attractive decor inside and out. Helpful staff and good breakfast.

Optimal location. Entrance difficult to identify for non-guests. Reasonably priced but a little overrated. Room lacked a support for luggage. Breakfast so and so. A printer in the (paying) internet room would help a lot.

Although it was a little difficult to find the vehicle entrance to the hotel, once we arrived the reception staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The car was efficiently dealt with, reappearing when it was required. Staff were also helpful with directions to restaurants, markets and much needed laundromat. The art deco furnished rooms were spacious and surprisingly quiet considering the location. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend the hotel to any of our friends.

A very reasonably priced and comfortable city hotel in a good central position. Would certainly use again. The free car park was particularly important to us.

I was a bit suspicious with so many positive reviews, but this really is excellent value. The room we had (in the back) was huge en quiet. I wonder if there is better value in Palermo.

Great location so very easy to find. Also right next to a main bus stop. Our bus from Trapani stopped right outside the door! The room was very modern and clean - nice bathroom etc. I think some rooms have a terrace - ours didn't and the view from our window was bad but other than that yes it's a good hotel and I would recommend.

Really good place for business or vacation trip, the hotel is furnished in modern style, it's very comfortable and clean. The car parking is for free but is a little bit small, if you need to leave the hotel fast, I can suggest to take 5 minutes more cause you could need some time to move your car away from the parking area.

Hotel Garibaldi could cater to both tourists and business clientele with free internet access. The hotel was very clean it appeared to be recently renovated. It had free parking in the city which was a bonus compared to other hotels. Good breakfast and easy walking distance to tourist sites. Good value for money.

Good point Location is very good for both sightseeing of the city and going to the airport. The room is very clean, comfortable, and lage enough for 2persons. Bad point The entrance is located below ground and it's difficult to carry our suitcases. There is no partition in the shower room.

The information about the Internet access was not available in the room. The information on how to control the A/C wasn't available. Overall, however, the room was great and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
