The impressive luxury 4 star hotel in the centre of Palermo has a distinctive noble facade which is further complemented by a superb location only footsteps from the squares, parks, shopping streets and cafés.

There can be no doubt that this fascinating destination offers a wealth of historical monuments, each giving you a glimpse of Palermo's rich and diverse history. The city is large enough to offer something around every corner to capture the curious global traveller, and yet small enough to get around easily on foot.

This deluxe accommodation 15-minutes from Palermo Port, is a popular choice for travellers from over the water, with regular services to Naples, Civitavecchia, Sardinia and Malta.

A unique hotel with a VIP ambience!

The first thing that guests cannot fail to notice at check-in is the regal splendour of this historical hotel, part of which was originally a convent, and which features many artistic, architectural and cultural influences throughout.

As the hotel is near the Quattro Canti Square, guests are in the ideal place to absorb the atmosphere of this a baroque piazza, famous for its towering palm trees and awe inspiring cathedral in the heart of Palermo.

The Hotel Grand Piazza Borsa staff are happy to assist you throughout your stay, whether you are here for a recreational break or something a little more serious. Professional guests can enjoy outstanding interiors in which to hold those important meetings, seminars and events, supported by technical equipment and truly elegant styling.

Some meeting rooms have private entrances, and exquisite banqueting will enhance any VIP occasion. Why should you settle for anything less when looking for executive business accommodation in Palermo?

If you have a post-meeting cigar which beckons to be smoked, then popular fumoir is the place to go. This annexed area to the conservatory is where smokers can enjoy magnificent views of St.Francesco, largely unaware of the discreet air filter hidden in the mixed glass chandelier above - pure genius!

Great for mind, body and appetite!

The knowledgeable and experienced staff invite you to make yourself comfortable at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa, whatever brings you to this luxurious spa hotel Palermo.

The wellness & fitness centre is, of course, a huge attraction to those guests with the urge for a little pampering. Set in the old convent area, and boasting a truly peaceful ambience, guests can enjoy a sauna, Turkish bath, and massages, along with all the usual state-of-the-art gym equipment.

After your work-out in the fitness room, dig into a mouthwatering breakfast in one of the many designated areas, including the 18th century passetti, the wood-panelled dining room, or the pretty roof garden.

At the end of the day, the Kemonia restaurant & bar promises delicious cuisine, whilst the old cloister guest lounge is the perfect spot to catch up with emails thanks to the complimentary wired and wireless Internet access. Whether you are here to work, rest or play, you won't be able to resist the beautiful gardens with evocative fountain, tempting you into the sunshine.

Airconditioning did not help sleep, and once windows were open, then it got loud on the streets/hot, but air-conditioning was bad for sleeping... So air-conditioning could have been better or cleaner or better natural air and cooling mix, to aid better sleep, as this is crucial. It needs testing, as our nose were blocked constantly/daily... also not great for health... Parking fees for car rental to high at 18 euro per day... they should have had concessions for guests like most standard star hotels in Europe, instead of risking rented cars on the street, and I checked, their car park was mostly empty. breakfast times was ridiculous as no one was up at 7:30 am on holiday, and most people came down at 10am, and they closed at 10:30am. Breakfast should be in relation to guests demand and numbers so they come back again, not hotel's preference to save money on eggs and bread etc... so you do not eat much... this is what it felt like, plus you felt a borden if you asked, unless confident... It was easier eating outside be you paid for breakfast... at least you felt welcomed, not rushed or doors shut on you while you eat!! Not nice at all... in fact it felt rude if honest! It was as if they did not actually want you to have much so the time was set for that, plus you must always ask for things like bread and eggs daily as it was always kept very low, even when they knew your requirements and we stayed for 10 days!! So it got a bit annoying/irritating. They should adapt to their guest demands or ask... especially on preferred times. They were helpful overall in the hotel, but reluctantly most of the time, and they never did much to accommodate what you wanted, except what was exactly provided to a minimum. Not sure what was going on but they wanted the money but did not deliver the service mostly. restaurant was also closed most of the time, plus it felt like the hotel had financial issues as things were very limited, plus the towels in the rooms were two, for

Some of the hotel staff are a bit dour, and could brush up on some local facts, like that the Archaeological Museum is currently closed, but otherwise this is a good hotel. I would stay here again.

It was a beautiful villa located in a very central place in spite of the very poor vicinity. It looked wonderful. The service was very good. The only let say minus, was the restaurant which was very fancy but with a poor service, personnel and the food as well.

A lovely hotel right in the heart of the city. Parking was a bit expensive at Euro 18 per day, but Internet good value at Euro 10 for 24 usage hours.
