Hotel Piccada - Palau

Nice place, quite easy to find it because of big sign on the hotel and also a lot of markings on the street, kind staff, very polite and helpful, breakfast is typical one, but good

I was there with my girlfriend. The piccada Hotel is very near to the seaport and there's an incredible room sightseing. Hotel's breakfast is quite good and rooms are very spacious and clean.

Real bonus : we were offered a room with a splendid view on the isles opposite Palau and had a terrace(109 steps to go up there but definitely worth it). Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the terrace. On the minus side, our room was supposed to be a quadruple room but there was a double bed, a single bed and a sofa that we had to install by ourselves to make it a bed ! Very good breakfast (cereals, yogurts, cheese, ham, jam, croissants, buns and plain bread)and all kinds of drinks (coffee, tea or chocolate). One real minus : the fruit juice which is very chemical.

The staff were friendly and checked us in early. They spoke English and were able to guide us around the area. Our room had a lovely view. The breakfast was of a good standard. We enjoyed our 7 night stay. Compared to others in the area I think it was very good value.

Decent hotel. Spacious room, but the hotel needs refurnishing in general. Pleasant and serviceminded staff.

Hotel has different buildings, connected by stairs and lift. Ask for sea view rooms. Good relationship between price/quality. Well located to visit La Maddalena and Costa Smeralda.
