Although it's a privately owned and operated hotel, they cater to mass tourists, and everything you experience confirms this approach: They were unable to do anything for me that was outside their '2 Euros for a beach towel'. They did not expect my arrival (at 1 in the night) although I had called and emailed. They were also unable to tell how much a phone call on the island was (they new the price for international calls though). Although the room was quite OK (my back was aching on the beds...) as was the overall package/price, I did not feel welcome. The breakfast is basic but OK, the bar is quite nice. Overall, I would recommend it for package travellers but not for individuals.
