Within walking distance to city center; convenient bus stops in the vicinity. We took an easy taxi ride from train station (approx 8 minutes, € 12). Our room was rather small (especially for 2 ladies traveling with a lot of luggage) and also a bit noisy as it looked out across the street. Interior of rooms is not as modern or chic as the photos let us believe, and amenities were missing. Also photos of the public areas promised a little bit more than we experienced, though the hotel was overall clean and the service friendly and helpful with some extras. The bar offers a few hot dishes for those who do not want to go out for dinner, but seating arrangements are not inviting to stay longer than necessary. Breakfast is continental and OK. WiFi in your room is not free; a terminal with printer in the lobby is online for the use of guests f.o.c. Would not give the hotel a 4*, but rather a 3*plus, since we expect more features from a hotel rated higher. Padua is worthwhile a visit; the Methis was OK for the rate we payed though we might choose a hotel nearer to the center next time.

A little bit far from a train station though there would be no problem for those who travel by car.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Methis once we found it. Athough the directions were correct, they were brief and having taken one wrong turning we went round and round the one way system. Helped by various local people we finally found the hotel. Once there we were very satisfied. We were welcomed with drinks, given lots of advice about restaurants and getting around Padua - the centre was about a 10 minute walk. The breakfasts were very good and the hotel surroundings really peaceful - particularly after a very busy day trip to Venice (which was very cheap and quick by train). Padua is a quieter and smaller city than Venice and the frescoes alone make it well worth a visit.

Siguiendo las indicaciones de "cómo llegar" tuvimos dificultades para encontar el hotel. Nos ayudó recepción del hotel,vía telefónica. Tienen que indicar que la salida es Padua Este, no es suficiente "tomar salida Padua"

A really nice place to stay in Padua. Central, but still easy to drive to and the hotel has really nice convenient parking. The lobby and rooms are stylish and there was a good breakfast. Quite good value!

I stayed total 4 nights in the Aqua room. Nice color and interior. However as a road/river side room, it's quite noisy all the day. The staffs are very friendly! Breakfast is simple but delicious.

We stayed in Padua to see the Scrovegni Chapel and the Veneto countryside and were very satisfied with walking distance to all city sites and restaurants and driving convenience to surrounding villas. The rooms had all the modern conveniences, the staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were generous.
