This hotel is well located, and our room 714 was nice and very quiet. It is the management that is not very good. I had specifically requested a NO SMOKING room and no 714 was supposed to be such. However the room was equipped with an ash tray! When I pointed this out to the management, at first the said that the ashtray was a mistake and would be removed, but subsequently a more senior person said that all of the rooms have ash trays, including those the were supposed to be non-smoking, as the management could not stop people smoking if they wanted to! In addition to that the shower rose was completely clogged with lime-scale when we arrived. The maintenance man gave it a quick spray with something, which helped a bit, but it was hardly properly done.

Excellent place to be, if you want to visit Padua for a few days! Next to the citycentre, and 10 minutes walk from the Railway station. Double room with private bathroom, and this, other than standard Italian style, very well working... Tv with international channels German, AlJazeera, CNN. (plus of course all Italian). Minus: no free Wifi, cost €5 per day, which is a no-no for such a hotel.

the only thing I can complain about is that we had to pay a double room as a triple because I required the use of a cot.For anything else we recommend the hotel

Good location close to the Eremitani Museums and the city center. No free wifi or room safe, but a good breakfast buffet. New tram makes getting from train station to hotel and then to the S.Antonio area very easy. Bought Padua Card which was worth it just not to have to negotiate buying tram tickets and for the free admissions and discounts.

The hotel is very well located. Within walking distance from the train station and the city center. Lots of restaurants in the area and lots of sites to visit. I would definitely stay again though the staff sometimes seemed tired and therefore not as patient.

The hotel was in a great location right in the middle of the shopping area. The restaurant was also good. The room was clean and was serviced every day but it was very small, especially as we booked a triple room for three people. One of the beds was obviously just put in for us, it was a visitor bed and it made the bedroom very cramped, she shower was also small. The breakfast was good but once they ran out of food they didn't bring anymore and it was supposed to run from 7.15 to 10am, but some stuff was gone at 8.45am. All in all though, because the location was so good, I would stay there again but ask for a bigger bedroom.

Very convenient, just a minute walk away from the Eremitani tram stop. It seems to be a mid-range business hotel, so things tend to be practical rather than fancy. The TV was a bit temperamental, but WiFi worked well. Breakfast was adequate. The room has a nice balcony and the windows very sound-proof. At €84 a night (single, with breakfast), it was quite good value.

We may have got a discount because this was extremely good value for money. The staff were wonderfully helpful and even took care of our luggage during our two-day trip to Venice since we wanted to travel light. Our spacious room was on the top floor and had a terrace (shared by other rooms)and a nice view of the city. A five-minute walk away is the old town with lovely squares crammed in the evening with people dining outside. A perfect hotel in all respects.

It seems to me that is a hotel that caters for business people travelling business class. And they top up their rooms with economy class travellers. If you manage to get a booking in this hotel you will not be disappointed. A little bit of luxury, they even fold your pyjamas and lay them softly on your bed.

The Hotel Europa in Padova was perfect for our short stay. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station and minutes to the centre of Padova either walking or taking the transport. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a shared balcony overlooking the street but there was no street noise to be heard. The only problem was noise from other rooms and people walking in the hallways. The breakfast was ample.

One of the best price/quality ratios I've experienced. Excellent location (a few steps from the Scrovegni Chapel and a short walk from the city center); the room, though perhaps a bit small, was very well furnished and soundproofed; very good breakfast buffet. And all for slightly more than 30 Euros per person per night.

Hotel is located within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station, very close to many of the major sights as well as to nice shopping opportunities. It is on a street of shops and businesses. The hotel seems geared to business travellers, at least as much as to holiday travellers. Our room was modern, clean, quiet and, compared to many European rooms in which we have stayed, very spacious. The price was quite reasonable for what we received. The breakfast buffet, included in the price, was fine; the pastries (various types of croissants) especially were good. Coffee came from a machine, though, and there was little personal service (not a complaint, just a comment). The restaurant was also open for dinner; we found it to be very good. The desk staff tended to be rather busy and sometimes hectic. Some desk staff spoke excellent English while others had considerable difficulty. There are elevators in the hotel. I would definitely stay there again if we went to Padua again.

We spent 3 nights staying at the Hotel Europa in Padua. It’s a 10-15 min flat walk from the station to the hotel. Padua is a lovely city. It is also a great base for visiting other cities by train such as Vicenza and Bassano del Grappa. Both of these are well worth a visit. The location of the hotel within Padua is great. It allows you to explore the old city very easily on foot. The reception area is modern and stylish and the staff were most helpful with directions, recommendations for restaurants etc. We had to change rooms because our air-conditioning broke down in the middle of the night. Top marks to the staff who straight away gave us another room to sleep in at 2.30am as the heat in our room had become unbearable. We moved the rest of our stuff in the morning. Breakfast was taken in the restaurant which is very smart and traditional in style. There was a good selection of fruit, bread, yogurt etc. in lovely surroundings. We’d recommend the hotel Europa without hesitation.

Está en el centro, las habitaciones pequeñitas pero muy bien, limpias y bien decoradas, parece reformado hace poco. Inconveniente el desayuno, no muy abundante y hay que bajar con antelación o no puedes probar nada.

Hotel Europa was ideally situated for us - walking distance (with luggage) to the train station, which made for easy day trips to Venice and Verona. It's also an easy and pleasant walk to the centre of Padova and the main tourist sites. Our room was comfortable though not quite as elegant as the online photos suggest. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. We had a pleasant stay and would be happy to stay there again.
