Good place to stay close to Padova downtown, but still in walking distance. Staff is nice and welcoming. There's a nice little restaurant just next door which i can only suggest to all. Maybe just the price / value rate is a bit too high?

Pretty good location, helpful staff (although they don't all give you the same information), only drawback was the shared bathroom which was rather repulsive.

Small hotel, nice stuff. Hotel is clean, near to the “fiera” and not to far from the city center. I was in a single room, big enough, furnished without pretensions but with a good bed. Surroundings are not the best ones, a kind of industrial area. Stuff extremely polite and helpful.

Padova, beautiful and expensive town. Alla Fiera is a nice hotel to stay in for a couple of days without been pretentious. It is located near the Railway Station and well conected with the rest of the city. Hotel's breakfast is bad, I suggest to make reservations without it and take a delicious italian cappucino at any bar in the surroundings. It should have an elevator. Staff is very attentive and helpful, though. I think price is to high for the structure and services offered but I ubderstand that is the range of prices at Padova, in general.

The beds were short, soft and saggy so we had a lot of trouble sleeping. There was no fridge and the shower handle fell down on my head both times I had a shower. We couldn't wait to check out.

For our 1st stay, we enjoyed the hotel and sights. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very generous and service good. Rooms were clean but the single mattresses made sleeping for 2 people a little uncomfortable as they separated in the night. AC provided. A little bar refrigerator in the room would be an asset. Less noise at night in the hallway would provide a restful sleep.

The hotel was guite good, we stayed here for 3 nights, but mostly came there only late in the night. It was guite in the room, for the night they turned on the heating, because it was not very warm in Padova in april 2010. I missed the normal bed-side table - it was very tiny. The staff was really friendly and helpful, but one lady was well-spoken overmuch, so that she ignored that some food was already missing on the table during breakfast and some of guests could not asked her to bring them some hot drinks (milk and juice were already finished) while she discussed with one couple the places of interests in Padova. I understand she tried to be helpful for that couple, but another guests needed also some attention from her side. Also I haven't seen that bar was open after 22.30, as we came to the hotel and wanted to have some tee.

Ratio Quality/price is very good. Very helpfull, competent and polite employees. The rooms are small but it is ok, one should not expect large rooms for this price. For sure we will stay again in this hotel and recomend our friends hotel "Alla Fiera".

The front desk people were very friendly. Beyond that, we were extremely disappointed with this property. The hotel looks like a youth hostel in desperate need of repair, both inside and outside. We stayed in a room with an en suite bathroom for one night and we could not wait to get out! The room was very dingy and small. It was actually depressing to stay there. It was quite hot outside the night we stayed. If you expect air conditioning that works well, look elsewhere. The room was so warm that we were prepared to leave and pay for a room at another hotel just to get a good night's sleep. After we complained the hotel lowered the thermostat (which cannot be controlled by guests). But every time the air conditioner blew out cold air after a couple of minutes if turned itself off, just as the room was beginning to cool off. It cycled on and off like this the entire night, keeping the room uncomfortable but tolerable. The hotel is located in a residential/commercial area on the outskirts of town, about a twenty minute walk to the train station and about a half hour to forty five minute walk to the center of Padova. We rarely complain about hotels, since we are just looking for clean, comfortable properties. However, this hotel was the worst we have ever stayed in and we would never return.

Very friendly staff but it was overpriced (even without breakfast). The room was a bit shabby and the place is not so close to the railway station as I expected (some 20-25min walk with suitcase, definitely not 500m away as stated but rather 1.5km). Still, it was ok for my one-night stay since there was no better rate/location ratio for online booking in Padua at the time.

I stayed at "Alla Fiera" Hotel for one night only with my gf. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms (ours also had air conditioning, which was very useful, since we went in Padua at the end of August). All employees were also very kind, and took the time - upon our arrival - to provide us with a map of Padua and show us where the place we had to go to was. The hotel's external appearance (it looks kind of cheap) does not do justice to the attention that is put into the care of the interior: clean rooms and tidy spaces everywhere. The hotel is located in a quiet road at about a ten/fifteen-minute walk from the railway station, and another ten/fifteen-minute walk from the city centre. If you need an inexpensive place to stay a few days in Padua, Hotel "Alla Fiera" is great value for your money.

The nearest area to the hotel is not very insteresting, and with few places to eat. But the hotel is only a short walk from both the railway station and the Scrovegny Chapel, which was most important for us. Other interesting places in the old part of Padova were also within walking distance, although a little longer away. Our room was quiet with a window to the back, with nice morning sun.

Staff is really efficient and sympathetic. Thank you very much. There is no lift at the hotel but the person who welcomed us offered to bring up our luggages in the rooms. We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and chose it for its prices and its proximity of Venizia. Location was good : near Padova's station and a post office. The surroundings were very quiet in August. We got our own car for going to the Padova's center, but we thank it was possible to go by foot : please inform... 2 things to perform : - air conditioning could be a little noisy by night, - the room with double bed and bathroom was a little small (the size of the other room, with 2 beds and shared bathroom was ok)

Not a good Experience. During very hot weather the Air conditioner could not cope. This was mainly because there was heating in pipes under the bathroom and part of the bedroom floor. Also the bathroom was VERY small. The toilet would have been impossible for anyone of above average height or weight to use. Location in terms of the railway station was OK, but out of the way for use of any town facilities. However pleasant hotel staff and good trattoria next door.

Hard to find. We needed to call the hotel several times before we were able to locate the property. Arrived in the late evening from Ravenna and were shocked. They must have reserved the two worst rooms for our stay. Not what we expected even in a two star property. More like a hostel in the Fiera and University district. Would not stay there again.

For me it was terribly that with such a quality I had suffert so much in that place because of the accessibility. In fact the hotel wasn't really so far away from the railway station but it wasn't at all accessible without a car.

The hotel is a bit shabby and devoid of personality. Also the rooms are really sad. They accorded to me a later check-out without issues. There are very few hotels in the center of Padua which can be booked online: this is one of the best choices from this point of view, but only from this point of view...
