Hotel Albergo Verdi - Padua

Location excellent, very central. Nice bar in the square in front of the hotel and two minutes walk to Piazza Signora. The hotel is very clean but very basic, no storage, only wardrobe without drawer or shelf,no seating. Bed was two small singles pushed together but coming apart creating quite a large gap between the two mattresses.There were only two pillows, got extra one but no more as the hotel was full.A mattress topper is needed. If it was cold I would not have used the blanket that was in the wardrobe. the bathroom while tiny was very clean. Breakfast room small, breakfast ok but the service was good.

Very well located hotel in historic centre within walking distance to most attractions. We arrived via train from Como mid afternoon.and after dropping bags in our room headed out to orientate ourselves. Lots of places for a ll priced and quality meal. The next day we were able to leave our bags locked up in the store room while we continued our tour, leaving later same day for Venezia. Need to return to catch up on all we missed.

The hotel was very nie - clean and comfortable but there was no insulation from the street noises outside. Breakfast was ok - but maybe this is a normal italian breakfast. The staff were very friendly and very helpful

The room was reasonably spacious, but besides a wardrobe with just 6 hangars, there were no drawers and no shelf space, so most of our luggage had to be left in the suitcases. The breakfast was olso poor in comparison to other hotels we stayed at on the same holiday, probably due to the small number of rooms making some types of food difficult to supply. The cheese was pre-sliced and wrapped and seemed plastic and uncharacteristic. Location was perfect for a city break.
