If you look for a nice (3 stars) hotel in the centre of Oviedo, this is an excellent choice. Good breakfirst, spacious rooms, nice stuff. Only thing you might get just to it is the very modern inner decoration. But all in all I would choose it again.

Highly recommended for city stay. Virtually faultless in every way. Fine breakfast. Newspapers available and quiet rooms if booked at the back of the hotel. Spotless interior with innovative, modern decoration. Close proximity to both rail and bus stations. Historic centre just 10 minutes away with more-than-adequate shopping and dining facilities in the immediate vicinty.

Take the A-66 to Oviedo. Then continue to Santander-Gijón-Avilés and take exit 29 (the 1st exit after the tunnel). At the roundabout, drive to Ronda Norte. At the roundabout with a fountain, follow the signs to the city centre and then to Hotel Clarín (on the 3rd street on the right after the 2nd traffic light). Enter the pedestrian zone with your car (calle Caveda), and take it up to the hotel.
