Hotel was easy to find and convenient for all the sites of Ottawa. Driving anywhere within about 10 min. Restaurants in area are excellent and you can walk to lone star and east side Marios as well as great shopping at St. Laurent shopping center. Overall great stay. Staff was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The carpet in our room was filthy. The whole hotel is in dire need of a makeover. The receptionist appeared overworked and not friendly. Service installed a new tap at the washroom sink finally after two days. The old tap was totally cracked and almost unworkable. Also the air conditioning screeched and was noisy even after some maintenance. How is this a three star hotel?

We stayed in this hotel 6 nights. Although it needs some maintenance we had a good experience. It is located near a Shopping center with several options for food and shopping, 10 min walk to the bus station (where you can move in all directions in the city), and it is 5-10 minutes drive to the train station which was perfect for us to take a train to Montreal. The rooms are a bit old, but they are clean. Front desk people very nice and helpful. We did not try the restaurant. The hotel has a pool, which is clean and well maintained, despite being summer time it was not too crowded. I liked this hotel, good price and good service. The only bad thing is the wireless network, one gets a login and a password for free during all stay, but it kept disconnecting all time, and since you have to login every time, it was very annoying. They should, as most hotels is to allow automatic connection. In summary, I would recommend this hotel.
