When we arrived we found the hotel to be further out than we had expected and it was on a very busy main road. It was advertised that there was a bus to take you into town but this wasn't available until later in the season. This could have proved a problem until we explained to the hotel that we didn't have a car with us. They then made every effort to ensure we were driven into town or picked up when we needed to be. The staff were pleasant and kind and couldn't have been more helpful. They even let us borrow bikes to cycle around the local area.

How to reach Hotel Koinè

By car
Coming from Lecce take the tangenziale est expressway and merge ontothe SS16 state road towardsS.M di Leuca. Passed the town of Maglie, take the Otranto exit and follo the signs for Alimin.

By train
From Lecce Train Station there are local trains or coaches going to Otranto.

By airplane
The Bari-Palese and Brindisi Papola-Casale Airports are connected with Lecce by a coach service.
