Location convenient, adjacent to funicular up to old city, and to the station. Some train noise, but not bad. Parking OK at hotel. Limited eating options nearby -- better in old city. Bathroom not satisfactory - shower arrangement substandard - no shower box and shower didn't turn off completely. To give value for the price, breakfast would need to be included.

Esta al lado de la estacion de tren y no pudimos dormir toda la noche por el ruido. No hay separacion entre el inhodoro y la ducha. El ba~o es muy peque~o. Las explicaciones para llegar no son claras.

A very good deal, and a very convenient location to the train and the funicular.

Even though we heard the train at night, this was a good value. The room was small but immaculate, and it suited our needs for a short stay.

The service was great, the staff is friendly and acommodating. The rooms facing the train tracks aren't air-conditioned, which is a huge problem because they get the morning sun and there isn't any breeze flowing through the windows. The air around the hotel seemed stagnant and stale. Also, rooms facing the train tracks are really loud, especially during the middle of the night when the trains scream through the Orvieto station. The sound is like nails on chalkboard- sqeaking tracks and twisting train metal.

10 minute walk, uphill, from the train station and inclined rail to the town. A little noisy when the hih speed trains go by, otherwise very nice.

Location of hotel is across the train station Orvieto and during the night very noisy. It seems so that the trains move through the room.

The management was unfriendly and inflexible, with no idea of 'customer service'. A request for hot drinks during the day to ease a throat infection was refused, breakfast was one drink and one pastry, additional pastries wwere charged for. The staff spoke no English and communication was imposssible. The hotel is situated on a small strip of land between a main road and a railway line with high speed intercity trains passing through throughout the day and night. The town of Orvieto is, however, beautiful.

We had a nice comfortable stay. Very near the funucular. Would of been better to have stayed up on the Hill, but access was still pretty easy. Hotel was a good value.

The hotelroom was allright.. The employee didn`t speak english at all.. Really not at problem, we stayed just for one night.. The hotelroom was next to the railwaystation.. little noisy.. But the biggest "problem" was the price.. All over Italy way too expensive its cheeper in Norway..(belive it or not..) We had a marvellous honeymoon in Italy,we`ll be back..

Very nice staff, friendly & welcoming. Great location to train & access to city. However, noisy due to proximity to train tracks. Great value for the price. Clean rooms & good restaraunt.

Rooms are basic but consistent with 2 star rating. Staff very polite and helpful, but sometimes unavailable. Be advised: hotel is between very busy road/street and train station, so quiet sleep is out of the question. No breakfast, but that is disclosed in advance.

This hotel is indeed near to the station, but along a very noisy and unpleasant road. Fortunately it is also near the funicolare to the centre. Good for a short stay when you arrive by train.

The description of the property should mention the fact that it is located on a busy street on one side, and faces the train station on the other side! With no a/c, and temperatures above 35C, we had to keep the window open, which subjected us to unbelievable noise and mosquitos! We only stayed one night instead of the two we reserved, and the hotel owner made us pay the Venere fee (I think it was 14euro)for the second night, even though we did not stay there. We were very disappointed with the overall experience, and would NOT recommend it to anyone! (We did not see any patio resembling the photo in the description)

Right next to the funicular railway, so very handy for getting up to Orvieto, but also right next to the mainline railway so very noisy too. Very hot in the rooms too (though it was 35C outside) - no fans and railway so noisy that you can't really leave the windows open. Easy to park, once you've found the place - it's on the road going up the hill towards Orvieto. Initially, follow the signs to the fenicular and then branch of up the hill to the left - it's on the right hand side of the road with a big yellow sign outside.

It was off season, and we were the only clients. The restaurant was excellent!
