The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. However this hotel is next to the railway line and motorway so the rooms facing the back are very noisy with trains all night. Bascially the hotel is situated in an industrial area. Also it's not clear how far from Orvieto old town it actually is - you can't walk in. However the staff were very helpful in arranging a transport and had good receommendations for places to eat/drink. Orvieto itself is beautiful and well worth a visit.

The hotel is central located in Orvieto Scalo,and great accomodation for the money. The staff is friendly and you feel welcome.If you want to have a good meal,I can recommend the restaurant just besides this hotel

It was our first stay in this hotel. We were very kindly received by its owner in our own language (french). Our room was very clean and spacious. The access to the hotel is very easy coming from A-1 autoroute. Service is very good and staff very kind. We would recommand it to our friends.

a good little hotel.the staff were very friendly,especially the sicilian father who kept offering us coffees and told us lovely stories.the area may not be as beautiful as ORVIETO ,2 miles away and it is close to a main road and a busy railline but it is very quiet.actually its position is a major asset,being on the road to TODI,one of the most beautiful medieval towns i have ever seen.and...this hotel is next door to a truly fantastic restaurant,il portonaccio :i challenge anybody to find a better place!Iwill go there again as soon as possible.

Recommend this as an overnight stop. It is just off the motorway. Clean & good value for money. As with all other hotels in this area you have to put up with the noise of the trains (not too bad with window shut) Good restaurant next door.
