This is a lovely hotel. The outdoor yard/patio was very relaxing. Overall, a totally enjoyable stay.

I arrived quite late at night, and the place did not look anything particular from the outside. Once inside though it was a little gem. Beatiful living room, and our room was exactly what I was expecting - 19th century style, which put us right in the mood for visiting the chateaus! Sitting next morning for breakfast in their quite, peaceful terrace surrounded by the garden, it was just paradise, and food was delicious - loved the hot chocolate! And the people were really nice. Definitely worth it.

Villa Marjane was one of the best hotel we ever stayed in France. It is definetely better than many three stars hotels. we are a family with a young kid (6.5 years old) and we stayed in a four bed spacious room for a great price. The bathroom was bigger than you might expect and has shower cabin unlike many three stars hotel in France. The hotel has a beautiful garden and comparably small and big parking place in the front and back garden respectively. For the adults, you have to pay EUR 8 extra for breakfast and half price for the kid but it is worth it. They have nice breakfast with some fresh fruits, croissant, local jam, local cheese and ham, wallnuts and a nice caffee. The breakfast room is nicely decorated room looking to the back garden. We stayed in Villa Marjene at the valentines day weekend, and owner (nice couple) of the hotel was very helpfull and patient helping us to find a nice restaurant for the dinner. You can imagine that almost everywhere was fully booked for the night. During our four days stays, we just visit surrounding castles upon recommendations given by that couple and every castle we had visited was a right choice for all of us. The sole negative comment about the room about the wardrobe; it is a big one with many hangers but it does not have anty selves. Orleans is a nice city that you should see but if you plan to see many castles in the loir valley region, tours city might be a better starting point since it is just in the middle of the valley and little bit closer to many castles comparably Orleans city.

We had a room for 4 with 3 beds - there was enough room and it was quite beautiful. The staff was really nice. We had breakfast there in the morning and it was the most peaceful breakfast we had in France. Just a beautiful place.

We stayed for 1 night. Small family-runned hotel, very nice and intimate. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable. The hotel is actually renovated building and the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbours coming and going, but we only needed for a place to stay the night so it does not bothered us too much. Free wifi. In general, very good impression.

Hotel is a nice little villa as name suggests - with a nice garden and inside parking option. Breakfast room is looking for garden and makes a really nice place therefore to start the day (not a real restaurant service so far unfortunately which i can only say as disadvantage of the place...) All the stay there was excellent - really nice french hospitality. Staff speaks english well enough, and can help to choose what to see and what does not worth the effort so much. As overall - if you want to sleep in a nice little french villa - this place is an excellent choice. Only (very little) problem i can say - to say something :-) - is that it was not so easy to get there as street is not listed in navigation software... (Rather navigation problem than hotel staff' one). Space in the gardrobe was a bit small too maybe.

Villa Marjane was an excellent hotel, would stay there again. However, although we booked 3 rooms, they made an error and only booked two rooms and had to offer us one as a family room. This error was made for the two nights we stayed on our outward and inward journey from St Maxime. Despite this, definitely stay there again. Wonderful!

We were made to feel at home as soon as we walked through the door, and were directed to a restaurant in Orleans that was not only open on a Sunday evening but was a fabulous traditional French restaurant. We wish we did not have an appointment with a ferry at Boulogne and could have stayed longer at Villa Marjane. Some of the upstairs floorboards were a little bit creaky but absolutely everything else was fabulous if you like traditional French Hotels.

What a great stay we had here! We received a very warm welcome from one of the owners, Chantelle, who made us feel at home right from the start, and gave us some good hints. Room was not big, but clean and very quiet as it was at the back of the house, facing a small garden. Breakfast was excellent: variety of items, classic music a the right volume facing the garden and the attention of the staff ... Close to perfection! Definitely recommend! Nice loaction to visit Orleans, but you´d better be by car.

The walls are so paper thin that there is absolutely no element of privacy. I was awoken by the sound of the shower in the next room each morning, and, quite disgustingly, the noise of the man in the next room using the toilet was very clear. Outside is a very busy, noisy road which is not mentioned in the description of the hotel. I would not go back.

We stayed here on the way to the Dordogne area and we liked the hotel so much we booked it for the return trip. The hotel is situated in a suburb of Orleans and a very short drive from the city center. We liked the hotel very much and especially the owners were very friendly. We recieved a very warm welcome when we came the second time. We will definately come back here in the future.

A very pleasant and friendly hotel set in gardens with interesting trees. Plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Difficult to find from south (Michelin route). Easy to find from Orleans city centre. A very good place for an overnight stop (or longer).

We have stayed there for two nights and were extremely pleased with a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Though we have booked a simple double room we stayed in gigantic room with 4 beds. Very clean and spacious bathroom was equipped with high quality, brand new faucets and shower. Hotel is surrounded with nice garden and a lot of outdoor space, car parking also had plenty of space. The map posted on the website is quite misleading and we had troubles finding the property. Since we had a car we had no problems getting around, though it may be a problem for someone on foot. Overall it is an excellent value for the money and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

A very nice little hotel, very cosy with nice rooms (a bit small) and good taste in decoration. Very charming people in charge, lovely breakfast room and good breakfast. The lounge downstairs very nice as well. Good quality-price. Nice stay. On our way back we went to another Logis de France hotel somewhere near Toulouse that was supposed to be better and was definitely worse: more expensive, noisy, ugly and not very well served. Big difference.

A lovely, clean hotel run by a very charming and friendly couple. Well-located for Orleans, although a car is recommended as public transport closes early. Could not have been happier with this hotel.
