Hotel Saint Aignan - Orléans

At arrival we first found a tall building with a garage in the basement - but no hotel. Actually the hotel is in a smaller building at the left side of the tall one. The young receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and he spoke excellent English. He offered 4-star service from early morning until late night, way beyond what one would expect in such kind of hotel. The room was of good standard and recently refurbished, the breakfast was OK but nothing special. The parking is actually a bit tricky - you always need help from the receptionist to access the parking, and you have to change the elevator to get down to the parking, but it's inexpensive and better than leaving the car in the street. Although the hotel is close to a big crossing we found the noise level at night acceptable, even with an open window. The hotel is actually in a little road leading away from this crossing, so there is sufficient distance to the main traffic to reduce the traffic noise. Overall a reasonable hotel at a fair price with an exceptional receptionist.

Most helpful receptionist ever ! Good hotel clean spacious rooms and a very good quality continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. Centrally located on a busy main junction about 10 mins walk to cathedral & centre , so not particularly quiet. Very good for an overnight stop or a couple of days. First time in Orleans and I would definitely stay at this hotel again .

The young man at reception was extremely pleasant and helpful - way beyond the norm - and that set the tone for a pleasant stay. Further, it was good to have a hotel computer set aside fro use by guests, and not having to pay a trivial but bothersome extra for its use was nice, and indicative of the attitude of the hotel.

I found the hotel to be ideally located to the station and Town centre. The staff were friendly and most helpful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent I could not find fault with this hotel.

My stay at the Hotel Saint-Aignan was excellent. Standard rooms are also high quality rooms.

A bit expensive, but a very comfortable stay.

One night. Extremely helpful recommended a great local restaurant very close to the hotel. Garage facilities excellent car very secure would definately stay here again. Staff extremely polite and friendly. Good location close to all amenities

We were staying as an overnight stop en route to the South of France. This was easy to find ( with sat nav ), and well positioned to walk into the centre of town. The bonus was an underground secure car park - although you have to park and go in to the hotel to gain acces to it ( they come out and open up for you ! ) - the spaces are tight, but we managed it in a Ford Galaxy ! The rooms were clean, comfortable and more than adequate. We didn't have breakfast although it looked & smelt good, but went out to coffee shop for croissant etc instead. Supermarket within walking distance of hotel too. No lounge or bar areas - but we weren't in the hotel other than to sleep so it wasn't a problem ( loads of nice places in Orleans to sit for a drink and chat )

Prices on venere for parking and breakfast different from actual charges. Orleans is a great city to visit. Hotel is close to everything. Great eating choices in town walking distance from hotel.
