We had 2 complaints then. At first, it was difficult for us to find the hotel out, because the exact location was not described in the map of the website and there was no efficient indication along the streets around there. Secondly, hot-water had been used up completely, when we filled it in the bath only once. Although the room (cottage) was very good except the above second problem, it could not give us confortable stay.

Rooms are excellent value particularly for those who enjoy the golfing environment. Bed is a good size and firm, and bathroom warm & modern. Dinner in the separate restaurant was of high quality.

Our first stay in this hotel. The views from our room across a small lake to the golf course were very attractive. The staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. A peculiar feature of the evening dining was that we were turned away from the restaurant in the main building, because that was only for groups, and were directed to an alternative restaurant across the road about 250 metres away, still part of the hotel. Although the maps on the website seemed clear we became hopelessly lost trying to find the hotel and had to ask directions, the road system South of Orleans is confusing.

Travelling to the South of France, we required overnight accommodation to break the journey. The accommodation for six people consisted of a "cottage" (sleeping four - one bedroom upstairs and an uncomfortable sofa bed downstairs), which bore no resemblance to a cottage, and one bedroom in the main building. It is more like a motel as the so-called cottages are in fact two-storey terraced blocks. The accommodation is clean but, fairly common in France, cramped. There was a bedroom on the first floor of the cottage with an adjacent bathroom. The bathroom was spacious but had not toilet. Oddly, the toilet was situated on the ground floor off the open plan, very basic, kitchen/living/sleeping area. Restaurant - excellent and very good service.

The price for a cottage for seven days is Euro 525,00. When you want to rent a cottage for par example 9 days, then you must pay Euro 90,00 in stead of Euro 75,00 a day. This is very strange!!!
