Record Parkside Inn & Suites - Kissimmee, Orlando

We weren't expecting much for the money, but got even less. There were no lampshades, the walls were finished with peeling wallpaper glue (no wallpaper or paint), and everything in the room was falling apart. In the bathroom, the shower head was falling off, the tub drain did not work, the water pulsed hot and cold, and there were dirty towels still there from a previous guest. The TV had poor reception, remote did not work. Breakfast was a joke, but we expected that. 2 good things – the door sealed & locked tight, and blackout curtains worked well.

Two weeks ago, I took my husband and my son who have just come from China came to this inn, we have been there for six days,I think the surroudings is better than what I thought(at that reasonable price).The house is very clean , every facilities which is mentioned before is available. What I appreciated so much is one of the manangers here, the second day, my son got fever, that old man cared my son so much that he was even worried until midnight. We are so satisfied about the service there. If I have chance to go to Orlando, I will try again.

We were at this hotel last year too, at the same period and we have been received kindly.

When we checked in it was 85-90 degrees outside and the air conditioner didn't work. Huge gaps existed in the door jamb which would accomodate bugs. In room cofffee machine was not there. Bathroon sink had numerous large chips and the bathroom tile behind toilet were loose and looked dirty. On the plus side there was plenty of hot water but the toilet flushed its contents errratically. Travelled with my wife.

Nice rooms for a nice price. Fast free wifi. The airco was too loud to sleep, FL is too hot to not use it. Plenty of food in the area (1/2 to 2.5 mi). Although we were traveling we decided to stay another night as we stayed in the area. Did not test/use the breakfast.

I really liked this hotel! It´s really very cheap and evrything was fine for the price! The breakfast isn´t so complete, but the recepcionist told me that for this price they couldn't buy more thing to offer in the meal. I really agree with them. I really loved this hotel and if I go again to orlando, I'll really stay in there. There were a supermarket really near of the hotel and this was the best thing! :) The access of the hotel is really easy and I never get lost! :D Eu realmente gostei deste hotel, muito barato e tudo muito bom pelo preço que paguei, o café da manhã foi explicado que seria simples, visto que o preço não possibilitaria um café da manhã melhor, e isso não foi o problema, pois há um mercado muito próximo que se desejar é possível ir à pé (apesar de ninguém andar a pé nos EUA). Ficaria novamente neste mesmo hotel sem problemas!! :D

It was the first time since many years that we found this quality of rooms and people not any problems during our stay. Only a point, the breakfast a little bit short but it was not a real matter.

The price/ quality was so good that we stayd two weeks later at the same motel.

Excellent "low cost" motel, not too far away from most theme parks.

This motel, though getting a little tired, is kept clean and tidy. The only gripe I have, is the lack of coffee making facilities. Take a travelling kettle with you if you stay here, as it's a half mile to McDonalds! It would be worth a couple of dollars more just for the coffee. There are plenty of places to eat within a couple of miles and the attractions are all within 20 miles. If you are on a tight budget, this is a good place to stay.

The hotel clean but very deteriorated, and the workers in the hotel need more...(my husband does not speak English and when he ask the person from the reception that if he spoke Spanish, he was told this is Unites Estates and we speak here English, I think to say NO it was enough) El hotel limpio pero muy deteriorado, y el personal para trabajar en un HOTEL le falta mucho... ( mi esposo no habla ingles y cuando le pregunto a la persona de la recepcion que si hablaba espanol, este le contesto estamos en Estados Unidos y aqui se habla ingles, pienso que un simple NO era suficiente)

Las habitaciones son muy buenas, el desayuno está bien y estás a unos minutos en auto de casi todos los parques. Recomendable

Stayed for one night (planned). Didn't have time for eating breakfast ;-(. Rooms seems a little 'worn' - but are clean, spacy and quiet. Good location for everything in the Disney area. Friendly staff.

Cleanses is only a problem of this hotel.

Great place to stay. Very affordable, with friendly helpful staff. We had a problem conecting to the wireless internet, and the staff was knowledgable enough, and willing to help us make adjustments to our computer so we could get online. Rooms are very clean, We will definatly atay here again.

Pelo preço, compensa, mesmo com o insignificante café-da-manhã; Good place to stay, but only if you have a car; excellent price and you can forget that breakfast;

All in this hotel is ok. A good rate and very clean room, excellent service and competence of employees... very recomended for stay close to the parks and restaurants. I will go again for sure.

We had two rooms during our stay at the end of July 2008. One of the rooms was just wonderful for the price. It was clean, in good repair, and had a very nice refrigerator. The other room though for the most part was clean, the refrigerator was old and outdated and the bathroom had a hole in the wall behind the toilet that allowed Cockroaches to crawl through. Also, the bathtub drain was loose and kept coming out. The beds in both rooms were very nice and comfortable. If all the rooms were as good as the first one, we would have no complaints whatsoever. This was great value for the money and we would stay there again. Don't plan on eating the continental breakfast and being satisfied. You'll probably want to hit one of the near by restaurants.

Have stayed in kissimmee many times and i must say this is one of the cleanest motels we have stayed in. rooms are LARGE and a refrig. looked brand new. the bathrooms could use some updating, but room was great and pool was clean.many things within walking distance .i would stay here again. they had rooms for smokers and different rooms for non-smokers so you don,t have that stale smell.

A very nice hotel, defintely when it comes to the relation price versus quality. Perfect big beds with great sleeping comfort. The only disadvanatge I can think of is that the area around the hotel is a bit boring (on the other hand alot of the area in Orlando looks a bit like the one around the hotel) and the breakfeast could have been better (on the other hand there are alot of great breakfeast places in the area like Bob Evans which defintely can be recommended).

We chose this place for our last night in Florida because of the low price and the proximity to the airport. The room had one comfortable king-size bed and one sofa-bed, as well as lots of storage space. The neighborhood has lots of good, inexpensive ethnic restaurants, unlike the hyped-up, touristy International Drive area. We will definitely use this facility again on future visits to the Orlando area.

Decent room for the price and surprisingly quiet. The staff were courteous and responsive. Excellent wireless internet connection and easy to use.

Very friendly knowledgeable staff. I would recommend this Motel to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.King size room I was in was on the small side,but had all amenities.I am sure their other rooms are better. This was a last minute business trip and Orlando area was very booked.

Family run older motor lodge close to attractions (5 mi to Disney) and minutes to every conceivable chain restaurant and store -- from supermarkets to outlets. Room was clean with mini refrigerator/freezer and microwave plus security safe. Comfortable king size bed. Sitting area. Easy access off Bronson Memorial Hgwy in either direction. The continental breakfast is weak toast or twinkees and bad coffee but good coffee or breakfast is up or dwon the strip -- what do you want for $33 per night? Large pool and other stuff we didn't use. One disappointment: paying for ice, pay dispensing ice machine didn't work -- bought a bad across the street. Overall a nice experience.

I really only have 2 complaints. 1. they should stop advertising continental breakfast, wrapped snack cakes and Tang does not breakfast make I understand they have limited space, but please. 2. I asked for two wake up calls the day we flew home and recieved none. We almost missed our flight. I was very upset.

We stayed at Parkside for eight nights with our two small children, 9 and 5. We were so pleasantly surprised with the room and pool and staff! The rates were unbelievable for the quality that we received. They provided us with a coffee maker and microwave along with the fridge that was already in the room. They kept the room clean for our entire EIGHT night stay! The shower was fabulous and the beds were extra comfortable! The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. There was NO noise while we were there. The pool was heated and clean and very enjoyable! We will most definately stay with them again!! Thank you for making our vacation extra special!!!

WiFi does not work if you are far than 50 ft away from the access point.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS I NEEDED TO STAY IN THE KISSIMMEE/ORLANDO AREA AND BOTH TIMES I STAYED AT THE RECORD PARKSIDE INN.THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE.ITs JUST A BASIC MOTEL ROOM WITH WHAT IS NEDDED FOR YOU TO LIVE WHILE YOUR AWAY FROM HOME,ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE MOTEL HAS BEEN RECENTLY UPDATED...AND THE POOL IS IN THE CENTER OF THE ROOMS SHOULD YOU WANT TO TAKE A DIP......IF YOU WANT A "NO FRILLS" CLEAN PLACE TO STAY,I SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE,AND ITS CLOSE TO ALL ORLANDO ATTRACTIONS IF THATS WHY YOUR IN THE AREA.....IF YOU EXPECT TO BE WAITED ON "HAND AND FOOT"AND YOU THINK YOUR "SPECIAL" THIS PROPOBLY WONT DO IT FOR YOU....STAY AT THE HILTON FOR 200 A NIGHT.I MYSELF WOULD RATHER SPEND MY MONEY ON HAVING A GOOD TIME AND PURCHASES.

We were looking for a cheap hotel to stay one night. I was not expecting any luxury at all, but at least I would expect a clean room. It was a dusty, dirty experience. They don't change the mattress sheet when someone checkout. It was disgusting to find hair from a previous-guest in the bed and pillows. The only reason I did not run away was because it was late and cold; we were tired, and it would be difficult to find another place at that time. So we tried to sleep with our cloth on, using our jackets as pillows. I won't recommend this "motel" to anyone.
