Buena Vista Suites - Orlando

I have only two complaints about the hotel. The quality of the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The eggs were plastic or rubbery and the bacon was very hard and crunchy. A little better care and attention to preparation could go a long way. My major complaint is the distances one has to travel to see anything of Orlando. When people come to a convention, they like to see a little of the location, but here, unless you rent a car, you are trapped. Better transportation services are warranted. A two way taxi to City Walk cost me $50. Having some regular shuttles making rounds to a few of the regular attractions and restaurants would make a stay there much more pleasant. It could be combined with something like a show ticket(Blue Man, Cirque du soleil,etc.) for an evening outing for conferencers. Perhaps you could work more closely with conference organizers in that regard.

Comfortable accommodations. Buffet breakfast was great also. Easy check-out. Will come back if we are near Orlando again.

Overall my familys stay at Buena Vista Suites was enjoyable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rates I got on Venere.com were great, I was paying $80 less a night than another guy I met there for the same room. I didn't like the fact they don't have DVD players in rooms only a VCR and didn't have a lending library for VCR tapes rendering the VCR useless, just like the DVD's we brought with us. Also the free breakfast was terrible, so if that's a big thing to you run away, run away!. But for the price I paid you can't beat it there in Orlando. There are a few things I was not at all happy about but apparently every hotel is the same there, I found out after speaking to other people from other hotels. The hotels, etc all say were only 2 miles from Disney or whatever the distance and that they have free shuttles. What they don't say is that 2 miles is only to to Disney's main gate, the theme parks are another 15 to 20 miles past that, and if you end up missing a shuttle it costs $25-$30 to get back, one way! Also they don't tell you that free shuttle only runs 2 to 3 times from hotels a couple hours apart such as 8:05AM, 10:05AM and 12: 40PM and leave Disney at like 3:50PM, 5:30PM and 7:40PM and occasionally have a late shuttle leaving at 11:55PM on a select few days of the given month. Point being if your there and visiting Disney for say a 4 or 5 day vacation and you want to stay late and catch the parades and fire works, or just stay later to ride things without waiting 2 hours, like in the day time, most likely your getting stuck paying for a cab back to hotel! But like I said thats every hotel here, if you want a continous non-stop shuttle to and from Disney you have to stay at their hotels and resorts and take out a second mortgage! GOOD LUCK!

Great location, nice enough room, but the breakfast left a little to be desired. The price on your site was the best I could find.

Very satisfied with everything as stated online about the hotel. definitely would stay there again.
