My experience was wretched. Frankly, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Upon arrival, we were taken to a small room with no AC and a smell from the bathroom that caused nausea for both me and my wife. I can only conclude this room was unique, or the hotel would have been out of business long ago. Upon our complaining about the room, we were told there was nothing else available and that the cost of the room was set. We did get a small fan to circulate the air that made the room possible to stay in longer than 10 minutes. In the morning there was a lovely street market that the hotel clerk mentioned, but he neglect to say that if you car was in the street in the morning, it would be towed. It cost me 135 Euro to get it back. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Perfect location for those who want to be right in the midst of everything, plenty of sightseeing possible without having to go far, a good starting point for a tour through town for people who can't walk long distances. The personnel at the reception was helpful regarding the difficulties in trying to get the luggage out of the car, hardly any space on the street and you have to block the road for others while you are unloading, that keeps the pressure on the travellers high. But you can leave the car in an underground parking during the night which is a relief. Very typical French town with lots of historical buildings, very very interesting to visit and really a cute hotel provided you can put up with the activity of folk outside on the street during the night.

It was an excellent stay, the hotel is really romantic and we enjoyed the city of Orange even though we didn't have much time to explore it. In the morning there was a market, where the local people were selling vegetables, fruits, meat, cheese...

Our first room, 4 flights up and no lift was in the attic with a small window at floor level and a sloping roof. The toilet had no door and after consulting the staff we managed to change to a ground floor room which was much more acceptable. After stopping at a lot of Hotels through France this accommodation was only average.

This is a simple hotel conveniently located for the Theatre Antique. Car parking is very limted and difficult to locate ( and access!). The owners were very friendly, and the facilities are adequate for a short stay.

A lovely little hotel in a picturesque corner of the town, decorated in fresh bright colours. Lots of good places to eat in the surrounding streets and about a minute's walk from the famous Roman theatre. I was travelling around the area by train - the hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the rail station. The breakfast wasn't very inspiring, but then the English are never impressed with Continental breakfast! The staff were polite, helpful and patient with my bad French. The hotel is very secure as they lock the door in the evening and give you a number to open it with.

Clean rooms, friendly service, nice souroundings, however, a little, constant, annoying noise in our room (#3), perhaps from an air conditioning

Unbeliveble that the hotel had a "built in bathroom/toilet" construction without informing in advance. The toilet, placed in a corner of the room, was surrounded by thin walls that did´nt reach all the way up to the roof. It all left a gap of app. 1,5 meters beween the walls and the roof in the hotelroom. For some people private bathroom is important, and not everyone feel comfortable doing "your private things" almost in public! The hotel should def. inform guests that this bathroom-construction does exist in some rooms.

Excellent hotel. Just don't try and drive to front door - park in the public carpark by the visitor information centre and walk.

Great location. Our room was very clean, modern and comfortable. It was easy to find parking near the hotel to unload our luggage then we moved the car to the hotels spaces in a nearby carpark (for a small extra fee). The only thing we were uncomfortable about was having to give our passports to the staff as security for the carpark swipecard. Of course we got them back when we left, but we felt we should not have to give our passports to anyone - perhaps we were more nervous about this than other people because we live on the other side of the world? Hopefully they will accept some other type of ID if you insist, but the woman we dealt with was not very friendly towards us and didn't appear to speak much English so we didn't make a fuss . Still, we wouldn't let that put off staying here again. Great value for money.
